Chapter One A Wager
A certain key middle school...
"Hey, hey, have you seen that TV series called xxx?" A girl rushed to her best friend as soon as class was over and sat directly on her desk.
"Oh my god, some of them I watch every day, the girls in it are really domineering!!! My best friend cooperated and put down her pen to shout loudly together..."
"It's Ah, I also want to be a special soldier in the future!" A certain woman said with a solemn oath, her eyes shining with envy.
Okay, let me introduce her. Her name is Jian Luo, and just like her name, she's simple, straightforward, and efficient. She's a bit of a rebel, with a tough personality, but she gets great grades, so teachers and parents love her. She looks pretty good too. She's the vice class monitor, super smart, mischievous, and has a playful streak. A bit overbearing at times (but can also be very gentle~~~)
A simple and lovely girl, meow meow, very clever, looks very cute, but her grades are just average, however, the teacher likes her because of her cleverness, a special feature is a pair of bright big eyes, unforgettable.
Meow meow wanted to say something else, but a familiar yet annoying voice cut in, "Hmph, I thought it was someone else, Jian Luo ah, I said who else in the class would say that."
Okay, his name is Yuan Xi, our class's 'tu hao' (a colloquial term for someone who shows off their wealth), but he's not pretentious at all. He's a rich second-generation kid with a wealthy and influential family background. His grades are average, but his IQ is extremely high. I have to admit that he looks pretty good, it's just... he always targets me.
You haven't even had time to refute, and then heard Yuan Xi's sarcastic tone say: "With your quality, you still have the nerve to say that you want to be a special soldier? Ha? I think your intelligence is only enough to be a janitor for them!"
After he finished speaking, some of his little followers echoed him and laughed very rudely.
The more "fiery" of the two, Meow, stood up first and scolded: "What's with the attitude? Just because your family has a bit more money? Is that something to be proud of? Your grades aren't even better than hers, nor is your physical education. If she becomes a janitor in the future, you won't even be qualified to be one!"
"I... Whatever, it's all for my own good..."
Yuan Xi was somewhat enraged, but still forcibly restrained himself: "You just want to be a special forces soldier, right? Fine, I'll give you this opportunity. Let's make a bet - can you last three months in the special warfare training camp?"
I sat on Miao Miao's desk, unmoved.
"Are we stupid? The army won't take us in anyway..."
Before she could finish, Yuan Xi interrupted her: "Don't worry, our family's strength can handle a military camp. I'll talk to them and make sure everything is fine. How about it? Are you brave enough? Or are you just not daring at all? Humph, I thought Jian Luo was quite formidable, but it turns out she's just all talk and no action."
"Who said that, it's just..." Meow meow wanted to say something else, I put my hand on Meow meow's shoulder and used my eyes to make him shut up. Then, I jumped down from Meow meow's desk, tidied up my hair, straightened my back (okay, I admit, we still have a height difference...), took a step closer to him, trying to look him in the eye, gazing at his demonic pupils, and said firmly:
"Alright, I'm going!"
