Chapter 11 The Two Tigers Plan (5)

Chapter 11: The Two Tigers Plan (5)

  (5)

The streets of Pancoran, Jakarta's Chinatown, were ablaze with raging fires trying to consume everything. The air was thick with the stench of burning car tires and plywood walls as marauding mobs driven by greed and lust ransacked Chinese homes house by house. Dabiraki and his men struggled to maintain control but everything had already descended into chaos.

A disheveled Chinese girl ran unsteadily to Dubraka's front, shouting in Javanese "Save me!"

"It's okay. I'll protect you." Daburakai pushed the girl behind him. Suddenly, a gunshot rang out, and Daburakai saw a burst of blood bloom on his chest.

The girl behind him was holding a pistol with an unwavering grip, and the girl's face gradually distorted and transformed into Liu Rujia, the current First Lady of Indonesia...". Daburaki suddenly opened his eyes wide, and the sunlight outside the field tent was already bright and dazzling.

"It was just a dream!" Daburaky said, shaking his head vigorously. This was already the 5th day that Daburaky and his subordinates had escaped into this thicket after Jakarta suffered a massive bombing by Chinese troops, which he had foreseen as an inevitable collapse.

Under the protection of his loyal Indonesian special forces, he arrived in Sumatra hoping to regroup. However, the situation on the island soon made him abandon his illusions. The ASEAN 5-country coalition force that landed at the giant port had basically controlled the southern region of Sumatra with developed transportation. Daburaky, who lacked heavy weapons, was naturally powerless to compete with them and could only continue to flee northward.

Along the way, they were repeatedly intercepted by the ASEAN coalition forces. The armies of Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand were relatively easy to deal with, although they had better-equipped armed helicopters and wheeled armored vehicles, but they simply did not dare to enter the jungle. What was truly fearsome were the Vietnamese and Cambodians, especially the Cambodians, many of whom were descendants of the Khmer Rouge and were born-and-bred jungle hunters, often able to pursue continuously for several days and nights in the jungle, leaving Dablaqi and his troops exhausted and heavily casualties.

The jungle areas of Central Sumatra are in the grip of two rival forces, Lieutenant General Mohammad Djamin, former commander of the Indonesian Army's territorial forces, and Mauliya Sayad, leader of a local tribal federation, who have been locked in a struggle for dominance that has repeatedly erupted into bloody clashes.

Dabrali went to Modika's command post as a former colleague and proposed that Modika use the coastal areas still under his control to lay mines, in order to attract international attention. During this period, Modika and Dabrali were still cooperating happily, and Dabrali led his own special forces to launch surprise attacks on Azov Battalion's armed groups.

But the good times did not last long, for Modikka, who had once shot and killed three Indonesian military commanders and launched a national rebellion, Dablaqi could never be at ease. Finally, one midnight, Modikka's armored vehicle suddenly rushed into Dablaqi's military camp, and the Indonesian special forces, caught off guard, almost suffered a devastating blow.

Daburakai led less than 100 people and escaped into the forest again. He became the target of pursuit by both factions. Daburakai and his men, who lacked ammunition, food, and medicine, were unable to break through the encirclement of the two armies, and more importantly, there was no place for him in the world anymore.

"I am not wrong, I want to save Indonesia from the despicable Chinese." Dabraki still couldn't shake off the nightmare of last night, he sat up and muttered to himself. "But God doesn't seem to give me a chance." From his pocket, he pulled out the German-made USP military pistol that had once brought him so close to success, and slowly moved it towards his temple.

"Don't." Indonesian Army Major Nanggala Pina, who had been following Dabir since the coup began, happened to walk into the tent at that moment. He hastily kicked away Dabir's pistol and stopped him.

"Is it still meaningful to continue this suffering? After I die, you can take my head to get a reward from the Chinese, or you can lead the brothers out of this dead land." Although he had never been fond of Nangka Pino's flattery, since escaping from Jakarta, Nangka Pino's behavior could be described as absolutely loyal and unwavering.

"Please don't give up on life so early, maybe we still have a day to return to Jakarta!" Nangka Pino suddenly knelt down.

"How is this possible? Don't even joke about it." Dabraki said with a despondent and bitter smile.

"Although our great Japanese Empire was driven out of Java by the incompetence of our government, the enemy of China is not just my Yamato people!" Nanka Pino's words made Daburakki shiver.

"Shina? Daiwa? You, you're Japanese?" Dabriki could hardly believe his ears. "That's right, I'm a member of the 'Chrysanthemum Society' of the Great Japanese Empire, my real name is Uchikawa Eita. Mr. Sone Ryoji whom you met in Jakarta is my direct superior for activities in Indonesia." No wonder! Dabriki suddenly realized why Japan had reacted so quickly to the Indonesian coup, and why Naga Pinosa always became clever and capable whenever he encountered a crisis.

"But I've checked your file! And how could you have pretended for decades without a single flaw!" Dabraki struggled to convince himself that this was just another dream.

"I was indeed born in Indonesia, and my grandfather was a special agent who infiltrated Java when the Imperial Army withdrew. My grandfather had a famous saying: 'The whole world knows that Japan has an invincible samurai spirit, but often overlooks the endurance of Japanese ninjas.' I think my grandfather raised me as a ninja from childhood!" Nangka Pino stood up and replied directly.

"Even if you were a Japanese spy, it would be of no use. Your country's army has already been driven out by the Chinese." Daburakina looked at this unfamiliar Nangapino with suspicion.

"No, there's an old Chinese proverb: a skilled hunter always sets two tigers to fight each other first, and then captures them both. Now China and India, these two hungry tigers, have already started clashing over the fat meat of Indonesia. So please keep your useful self safe!" Nangga Pino replied with a cold smile.

"How to get out of this forest, I have made arrangements! Please bear with it for a while." After saying this, Nangapino turned around and disappeared outside the tent. Only Daburaki was left staring blankly at the colorful dome.
