Chapter 5 Training
Luog's face flashed with disdain, his opponent in his eyes was like an ant, completely not on the same level as him.
The Ferrari's tires screeched against the ground, emitting a sharp whine as its speed plummeted. The opponent's bullets missed their mark, and the situation looked incredibly perilous, but Luo Ge remained remarkably calm. Ding Xuan knew that this composure and confidence had been forged in the fires of adversity.
He rolled down the car window and reached into a specially made box on the side of the door to pull out a silver-plated revolver.
"What kind of gun is this?" Rong seemed to be testing Ding Xuan Cheng.
"Brazil-made Smith & Wesson revolver." Ding Xuan Cheng merely took a glance before saying out loud the name and origin of Luo Ge's gun.
Rog looked at Ding Xuan with some surprise, and after a brief contact, he found that Ding Xuan was like a living encyclopedia of firearms. For any type of gun, as long as he took a glance, he could tell the origin, specifications, performance, and even some pros and cons that only insiders knew. It made Rog hard to believe that Ding Xuan was a newcomer.
"Look..." Luo Ge didn't waste any more words, his left foot stepped on the accelerator, and the Ferrari's speed surged wildly, catching up to the car in front like an arrow.
Boom boom boom boom boom...
Five shots in a row, Luo Ge barely looked, but Ding Xuan Cheng clearly saw the blood splashing out of the white business car, and except for the driver, all five people in the car were killed.
The driver was scared out of his wits, although he was also a ruthless person, but after all, he wasn't on the same level as Cold Gun and Black Leopard before, he was just a small fry who never thought he would be hunted down.
The car swayed twice, without stopping, the driver stepped on the accelerator firmly, and the car was like a mad bull, carrying an angry roar to the end of the highway.
"Do you know what it feels like?" Rog asked with a smile.
Ding Xuan nodded his head, he knew this feeling wouldn't be dispelled in a short while.
"There are six people in the car, and this gun also has six bullets. Just right, the last task is not difficult, just one shot, get rid of him." Luo Ge said.
Ding Xuan didn't make a sound, at this moment he was like an opium addict, the first time he touched the Desert Eagle in Ruiyin, he knew that his life trajectory had changed.
"Calm down, take a deep breath, raise your hand, and fire." Roger said beside him.
Ding Xuan Cheng followed Luo Ge's words, raised his gun, aimed at the target, and peered through the rear windshield at the driver who was driving wildly in front.
He didn't know if it was tension or dizziness, but Ding Xuan felt that the opponent was floating around the periphery of the target, wavering back and forth, yet unable to take aim.
"Come on, don't rely too much on the aiming star, feel it, the first glance is the most accurate, believe in your first feeling." Roger repeated.
He closed his eyes, readjusted his breathing, and after about ten seconds, Ding Xuan Cheng reopened his eyes, raised his gun, and his eyes aligned with the target in a straight line. Without hesitation, the gun fired, and the bullet pierced through the rear windshield of the front car, through the driver's head.
Drip...... The driver's head fell on the horn of the steering wheel, ringing non-stop. The car lost control and crashed into the guardrail on the side of the highway, then flipped over in mid-air and heavily hit the roadbed on the side of the highway, exploding with a loud bang.
The Ferrari stopped by the side of the road, and Ding Xuan came out of the car, watching the thick black smoke rise into the sky. Human life is just not worth much; this world belongs to the strong, whoever has the power can become the master of all things.
"Get on!" Rog waved his hand.
It wasn't until tens of minutes later that Ding Xuan Cheng finally calmed down and began to reflect on whether his actions were a bit impulsive. Killing the black leopard was self-defense, but what about the driver he just killed? Was he also the same kind of person as Luo Ge, finding meaning and pleasure in life through slaughter?
Rog didn't say a word, the car fell silent, the speeding Ferrari didn't turn around but sped along the highway.
"Do you smoke?" Roger lit a cigarette and handed over the pack.
Ding Xuan didn't make a sound, pulled out one, lit it and took a fierce drag.
"Life is like that, doing what you like to do, you're born to be a shooter, and you love it. I can see the passion in your eyes when you hold a gun," said Roger.
Ding Xuan didn't make a sound, Luo Ge's words had struck his heart.
"I was the same at first, but after coming to War Eagle, I realized that I was actually born for this. The life of a mercenary is so exciting every day, because you never know what will happen tomorrow." Luo Ge smiled and said.
"Is it?" Ding Xuan took a few fierce puffs, he really couldn't stand this foreign cigarette, the domestic cigarettes were more mellow and fragrant, unlike foreign cigarettes which were purely for the stimulation of nicotine entering the bloodstream and the spicy taste.
He threw the cigarette butt out of the window, Ding Xuan's eyes were firm, Luo Ge smiled, he knew that Ding Xuan had made his own choice.
……………
Half a month later, London, UK.
London, a city with a strong artistic atmosphere and historical ambiance, an important political center, and a major financial market. Internationally, the city is considered one of the world's four great cities, along with Tokyo, New York, and Paris.
This is one side of London that people know, but at the same time there is also an unknown side, such as the headquarters of War Eagle is also in this seemingly prosperous city.
North London, this is a living area of London, with many ancient buildings, some of London's aristocracy, and homes of former royal family members are all located here. It can be said that almost all the important figures in London are gathered here, it's such a place that sounds like it would inspire reverence, and surprisingly, it's also the location of the War Eagle headquarters.
It's beyond people's expectations that the Eagle, one of the world's largest mercenary organizations, has its headquarters in North London.
A castle-like building stands on Rent Street in the northern suburbs, this ancient castle is the headquarters of War Eagle.
Ding Xuan has been training here for over half a month, his progress is astonishing, and even caught the attention of War Eagle's Old Hawk King. Old Jack has been smiling from ear to ear recently, thinking that Ding Xuan has an even greater potential than Rogge, and he is confident that he can train him into the king of mercenaries.
The north side of the castle is a huge training ground surrounded by high walls, and there are many people on the training ground who are training in various projects.
The one responsible for training Ding Xuan was a big white man.
"Don't stop, no rest for you until you've done two hundred today!" the white man yelled at Ding Xuan Cheng who was doing push-ups.
Standard posture, uniform up and down, Ding Xuan Cheng controlled his breathing, although his body was already exhausted, but he did not dare to slack off. The white man was the instructor responsible for training Ding Xuan Cheng in hand-to-hand combat, known as the White Devil by the War Eagles, notorious for his crazy training methods. The White Devil had also been a famous mercenary at one time, but during a mission, he injured a leg and became permanently disabled. The Eagle King thought he was no longer suitable to be a mercenary, so he let him take on the task of training new recruits for the War Eagles, specializing in physical fitness and hand-to-hand combat.
Perhaps thinking that he still had potential, perhaps thinking that his mercenary career should not end like this, the White Devil took on this job, but was still resentful in his heart. Over time, he vented his grievances on newcomers like Ding Xuan Cheng, and also earned the title of White Devil.
"One hundred ninety-nine... two hundred..."
Ding Xuan Cheng had finished the task set by Bai Mo Gui, and stood up from the ground, drenched in sweat, apparently having reached his limit as well. In just two short hours that morning, Bai Mo Gui had made him do 200 push-ups, 100 pull-ups, a 5-kilometer endurance run, and 200 sit-ups.
"The last one was not standard, redo it." Bai Mogui did not let Ding Xuan off the hook just because he had completed the task he was given in a down-to-earth manner; otherwise, he would not be Bai Mogui.
Ding Xuan Cheng's face turned red with rage as soon as he heard this. As a Chinese, speaking from the heart, he was extremely disgusted with this kind of rigid physical training that only focused on building up one's muscular strength. In his mind, he believed that the power of human muscles was limited after all. He had once witnessed the might of hard qigong and deeply believed in the idea that the true power of qi lay in breaking through the limitations of human physiology when one's body reached its extreme limits.
"What's wrong? Didn't you hear what I said?" The White Devil glared at Ding Xuan Cheng fiercely.
This guy who is called a genius by most people in War Eagle seems worthless in his eyes.
When he first came to War Eagle, some logistics personnel of War Eagle conducted physical tests on Ding Xuan. Ding Xuan's body reached the A+ standard, and they formulated a three-item training plan for him: shooting, fighting, and wilderness survival. Old Jack was his shooting instructor, and the white devil in front of him was his fighting instructor. The instructor for wilderness survival, Ding Xuan had not seen yet. Old Jack told him that he would only meet the third instructor after passing the shooting and fighting tests.
In terms of shooting, Old Jack was overjoyed with Ding Xuan Cheng and had already listed him as a genius. This also made Ding Xuan Cheng feel somewhat complacent. Initially, Eagle King had set a deadline of half a year for him to become a qualified mercenary, but in just half a month, he had basically passed the test in terms of firearms and shooting. However, when it came to hand-to-hand combat, he was not so lucky. For half a month, he had been doing basic physical training, and White Devil hadn't taught him any combat skills. The training volume had almost increased every time, which also made Ding Xuan Cheng very dissatisfied.
"Instructor, are you a combat instructor or a physical training coach?" Ding Xuan Cheng often treated Luo Ge and Old Jack with little respect, it was just his character, and he was already being unusually polite to Bai Mo Gui. After half a month of endurance, he finally couldn't hold back anymore.
"Do you think my training is meaningless?" White Demon threw away his own whip and waited fiercely for Ding Xuan Cheng.
"Yes." Anyway, they had already fallen out with each other, so Ding Xuan decided to be straightforward and honest about his thoughts.
"Want to try it out?" The white devil's face revealed a gloomy smile.
"One on one." Ding Xuan Cheng was indeed generous and didn't think much of it. Bai Mogui could take on the role of a martial arts coach, naturally having high attainments in hand-to-hand combat. But Ding Xuan Cheng didn't put these things to heart.
He took off his upper garment and threw it aside. The White Devil dragged his crippled leg, walking closer to Ding Xuan, narrowing the distance between them to ten steps.
