Chapter 4 Rank Badge

  Demon Princess Black Knight

Meiwei stepped out of the door, and after a burst of strong light, the scene in front of her turned into a school auditorium.

Looking around the hall, it's empty and there are no rows of chairs as imagined. In the center of the hall, six doors are arranged in a circle, each painted with different patterns and written with different letters.

Meiwei learned from others, standing behind the door that belonged to her, while a long line formed behind other doors, but behind this door there was only herself. Meiwei drew a big "囧" in her heart, it can't be so bad, right?....

When all the students returned to the auditorium, Miwei turned her head and looked back at the empty space behind her, with three black lines crossing her forehead.

Then, a man in his forties or fifties came down the stairs, pulled out a wand from his sleeve, and lightly tapped it. Mavis suddenly felt a darkness before her eyes, and when she opened them again, she found that the hall had completely changed. She was sitting in the front row of seats closest to the podium, and the man was standing on the stage.

He tapped a megaphone-like thing on the podium with his wand, then cleared his throat several times "Classmates please be quiet..."

A loud voice echoed in the auditorium, and suddenly all was silent.

"Everyone has arrived at Anleiman Magic Academy, I am Dean Romon?Fiel. Since the principal is out on business, I have full authority to handle all matters of the school for now, you can call me Dean Romon."

Romon nodded slightly and continued: "Just now, each student passed the three tests, and the Transfer Gate will divide you into six levels based on your talent and attributes. The letter on the door that each of you walked out of just now is the level you will belong to for the next three years..."

Mavis slapped her forehead, and vaguely remembered that the door just now had a big "S" written on it.

If it starts from A... then S wouldn't be... Meivi wiped away the cold sweat on her forehead.

"The six doors are marked with different levels, from high to low A, B, C, D, E, and the last S level is higher than A level, more talented than A students. Fortunately, our college has welcomed an S-level student this year, that is Miss Miwei sitting in front of me!" The principal's voice suddenly became high-pitched, Miwei hadn't had time to accept the change, and the surrounding area began to spread with envy and whispers... S level..."

Mi Wei awkwardly curled up the corner of her mouth, didn't expect this result, low-key for 16 years, suddenly became the focus and it's really a bit uncomfortable.

Director Luo Meng returned the magic wand, and Mi Wei saw a white glow appear in front of her chest. After the white light faded away, a badge appeared with a floral font "S" on it. "Each student has their own level badge, which you will need to use later when shopping at school stores, libraries or going to certain places..."

The opening ceremony ended with difficulty in the face of Director Luo's lengthy speech.

When Mui walked out of the auditorium, a figure suddenly hugged her tightly. Mui slowly came back to herself and found that it was a middle-aged woman who was hugging her.

Meiwei felt like she was being strangled by this woman. The woman suddenly let go of Meiwei, and Meiwei gasped for air.

A woman's sharp voice sounded in Miwei's ear, "Little Wei, it's been a long time since I saw you, and you've grown so big! I remember the last time I saw you was ten years ago, when you were still running around all over the place!"

Miwei looked at the spirited woman in front of her, apparently she was Meila Auntie that grandma had mentioned, and it seemed what grandma said about her being a bit neurotic wasn't wrong.

"Xiao Wei, I heard you caused a sensation on your first day of school, S-class! You're indeed the daughter of your parents!" Aunt Mela patted Meiwei's shoulder.

"Dad... Mom..." Mavis murmured softly, it had been a long time since she last called out these two names, ever since her parents passed away, she didn't dare mention them, afraid that Grandma would hear and be heartbroken.

"Ah! How did you receive the notification letter? I was in charge of this batch of notification letters and I don't remember seeing your name."

"It was an owl that brought it to me," said McGonagall, pulling out the notice from her pocket.

"Principal!" Aunt Mela exclaimed in surprise as she read the notice. "How is that possible! The principal has been missing for a month!"

"Disappeared? But Director Luo just said..."

"That's just an excuse to avoid panic, the principal went out on business a month ago and never came back, without any news at all."

Miwei looked at the notice in Aunt Mela's hand, and it was even more chaotic.

Meira smiled again and said to Mavis, "Alright, don't think about these things for now since you just started school. I'll take care of it. You go back to your dorm and pack up your luggage. If there's anything, come find me."

Meiwei nodded and hid her confusion, turning around to head towards the dormitory building.

Seeking gold medals, seeking collection, seeking likes, seeking comments, seeking red envelopes, seeking gifts, all kinds of seeking, whatever you want, just throw it over!
