Meiwei stood at the entrance of the college with an old-fashioned suitcase in hand
A gate with a touch of ancient Roman style, on which the golden words "Anleiman's Magic Academy" are written.
Meiwei held her admission notice and walked into the school.
"Your aunt, you should remember her, is now a professor of potion-making at Anlemans, if you have any business, you can go to her for advice, she's a bit of a nervous person, and you'll need some patience when talking to her."
Mei Wei took a deep breath and picked up her suitcase.
The new semester always starts with the most lively time, people coming and going, chatting happily. Mavis stands in front of the school bulletin board, where a poster is posted, it's Professor Augus, the most senior professor in the college, repeatedly announcing the admission notice "Welcome to Anleiman Magic College, there will be an opening ceremony at 3 pm in the afternoon in the grand auditorium and a class division ceremony. Before that, please put your luggage in the basket at the entrance of the auditorium and write your name on it, thank you everyone."
Mei Wei glanced at the poster that kept repeating this phrase, then picked up her suitcase and walked towards the auditorium. At the entrance, she chose a light blue bamboo basket, put her luggage in it, and walked into the auditorium.
The heavy gate was pushed open, and inside there were no elegant decorations or professors and students coming and going in suits or school uniforms as Meiwei had imagined. There was only one thing - a pitch-black darkness.
Mei Wei looked around at the darkness, had she taken a wrong turn?
The students around her walked into the darkness, and Meiwei could only follow them in confusion.
Maiwei walked cautiously inside, her feet carefully probing the path ahead. Gradually, a glimmer of light appeared in front of her, and Maiwei hastened towards it.
Mavis rushed into the bright light, and the sudden brightness made Mavis unable to open her eyes. As her eyes slowly adapted to the environment, Mavis rubbed her eyes and saw a sign standing in front of her.
Meiwei walked over and looked at the floating words on the sign: "Dear students, welcome to Phantom Realm. Here you will encounter three checkpoints. The professor will decide your class and level based on your abilities. Please follow the path, thank you for cooperation."
Mavis looked down at the red brick path stretching out into the distance, smoothed her wind-blown hair and set off along the path.
The First Pass
Mei Wei stood in front of a huge granite, on which were written dense and complicated characters that she had never seen before. However, what was even more unexpected was that she could actually understand them!
Next to it was a white paper and pencil, Mavis looked at the only line of common text on the granite "Please draw the picture that appears in front of your eyes after reading this text on the paper. If you can't understand the text, please stamp your foot three times, the fantasy world will automatically send you to the location of the second level"
Mei picked up the white paper and marker beside her...
Mavis looked at the strange text on the granite, although she could understand the meaning of each word, but couldn't grasp the meaning of the sentence. Mavis read the sentence softly, and suddenly felt a strange feeling in her heart, extremely sad.
A bizarre scene emerged before my eyes: a complex array of magic circles enclosed an empty space, with a lone figure standing proudly beneath a massive silver cross at its center. Suddenly, fierce flames erupted from the edges of the array and spread towards the cross, tongues of fire licking at the figure's feet. Yet, the silhouette showed no fear, still gazing up at the sky with an air of haughty pride, even as the flames engulfed it whole, a wicked smile lingering on its lips.
Mei Wei drew the scene she saw in detail on paper, with a familiar feeling and suffocating pain welling up inside her.
Taking a few deep breaths, suppressing this strange feeling
Meiwei put the good paintings back in their original place and continued walking along the small path to a distant place, but the scene lingered in her mind and refused to fade away.
