Chapter 7 First Encounter

  Meiwei followed the instructor into the office, the instructor sat down and motioned for Meiwei to sit down, then took out a book from the drawer of the desk and handed it to Meiwei. Meiwei received it with both hands, her fingers lightly stroking the intricate patterns on the cover, looking at the instructor in confusion.

  "The instructor said, 'This is a special required book for S-level students. Every Friday at 8 pm, there will be a class in the auditorium. Also, there's a special meeting in the auditorium after dinner tonight, so go early.'"

  "Got it, thank you teacher." Mavis bowed and then walked out of the office, holding her textbook in her arms as she returned to her dormitory.

  Bedroom

  Aira lay on the sofa eating snacks and watching Mavis walk in, asking "What did the teacher say to you?"

  Mai sat down beside Aila "The school has prepared a special course for S rank students, we need to go to the auditorium every Friday"

  "It's so late and we still have to attend class, being an elite isn't easy...". Aila flipped over and lay on Mavis' leg. "I heard that the other two [S] aren't simple either, it's better to be careful during class, in case you get hurt..."

  "Those two others, you mentioned last time, Student Will and Joker?" Mavis asked curiously.

  "Oh" Mavis nodded slightly as if she understood, and her heart was slightly looking forward to tonight's meeting.

  On the first day of school, there were no classes scheduled, so Miu and Aila spent the whole day wandering around the campus, getting familiar with almost all the surrounding buildings.

  At dinner time, the two went to the restaurant together. The moment she entered the restaurant, both of them were stunned.

  The grand hall was resplendent in gold and blue, students carrying trays selecting their favorite dishes, elegant piano music echoing around them, a noble style as if they had arrived at a medieval castle.

  The two of them excitedly ordered a few dishes and snacks, and the money was all stored in their school badge, as all consumption on campus could be done by just swiping the badge.

  After dinner, they went their separate ways.

  Aira returned to her dormitory to prepare for tomorrow's classes, while Mavis walked alone towards the auditorium.

  Mei Wei walked to the entrance of the auditorium, pushed open the heavy door, and dozens of lamps made Mei Wei unable to open her eyes. Through the layers of light, Mei Wei saw at a glance the boy sitting in the first row. His silver hair was particularly dazzling, his face expressionless with an air of being unruffled by praise or blame, one hand propping up his chin, lounging lazily in his seat. The two buttons on his school uniform shirt were unbuttoned, slightly open to reveal snow-white skin and delicate collarbone, making him look even more unruly. At that moment, Mei Wei's gaze was fixed on him.

  Director Luo stood on the podium and saw Miwei, hurriedly beckoning "Miwei classmate come over and sit down"

  Meiwei came back to her senses and quickly walked over to sit down three seats away from that boy.

  Just as he sat down, the door opened again. A boy stood against the light, his short golden hair shining brightly, wearing a neat school uniform with a gentle smile at the corner of his mouth, forming a striking contrast with the boy next to him.

  The boy walked over and bowed politely to Director Lomon, then found an empty seat and sat down.

  Director Luo tapped on the microphone and said, "Now that everyone is here, let's begin the meeting."

  "First of all, we have a new member in our S-class team, let's get to know each other."

  That gentle boy stood up first "Hello, I'm Sa Lan, the president of the student union. If you have any difficulties, come to the student union to find me"

  "Hello, I'm Mavis."

  On the other side, the boy with silver hair didn't lift his head, coldly spitting out a single word: "Arrogant"

  Under the invisible pressure, Meiwei nodded slightly as a courtesy.
