Chapter 17: Six-Pointed Star Birthmark
Meiwei didn't know how she got back to her dormitory, all she knew was that after Ao said Luna was dead, she lost consciousness, and when she opened her eyes again, Aila was looking at her with a worried face.
Aira saw Mavis wake up and immediately changed from worry to joy, hurriedly helping her up "How are you, is there anywhere uncomfortable? You've slept for two whole days"
"I'm fine" Mavis smiled at Ayla, two days had already passed?
"When I opened the door and saw Mavis being carried back by Aoran, I was scared to death" Ela held Mavis' hand, with a worried face.
"Is it you who brought me back?" Mavis asked with wide eyes
"Yeah, he just said you were too tired and fell asleep, but at that time your face was really pale and scary"
Mei Wei grasped Aila's hand tightly and said "I'm really fine, maybe it's just that I've been running back and forth lately and haven't eaten well, so I'm too tired"
"Ah, as long as nothing's wrong." Elara finally put her mind at ease. She picked up the tray beside her and placed it in front of Mavis. "Have something to eat, you must be starving after waking up for so long. It's still warm too."
Mei Wei nodded and picked up a spoonful of white porridge, putting it into her mouth to comfort her growling stomach.
After dinner, Aila took out the bowls and chopsticks, while Mavis got up and walked towards the bathroom.
In front of the huge mirror, Mui removed her top with her back to the mirror. Since waking up, she had felt as if there was a burning fire on the back of her right shoulder, and it felt like tens of thousands of needles were pricking at the same time.
Maiwei pulled her top down to her waist, revealing a round shoulder. A six-pointed star birthmark on her right shoulder was emitting a purple glow. Maiwei looked at the birthmark in surprise, gently stroking it with her hand. The light passed through her fingers and illuminated the small space. When Maiwei took her hand away, something even stranger happened. Originally, there were six small six-pointed stars surrounding a large one. Now, one of the small six-pointed stars was gradually fading away, and finally disappeared!
Mei Wei stared at herself in the mirror, her eyes disbelieving. She trembled as she reached out to touch the spot where the six-pointed star had been, but there was no trace of it, as if it had never existed.
The next second, the first thing Mavis reacted to was to find Ao. She didn't know why, but deep down in her heart, she seemed to trust that arrogant boy very much.
Mei Wei quickly put on her clothes and rushed straight to SOS.
Mei Wei burst open the door, no mistake, that door was completely opened by Mei Wei's momentum.
The four people playing cards inside were startled and even dropped the cards in their hands.
Mei Wei scanned the surroundings, didn't see Ao's figure, lifted her feet and ran inside immediately, leaving four people staring at each other with their mouths still open.
Meiwei didn't care about politeness anymore, opened the door and walked in, Ao was lying on the sofa taking a nap.
Arrogance heard the sound and opened his eyes. Mavis ran in front of Arrogance and asked "How did I faint?"
With his eyes still half-closed, clearly not fully awake yet, he slowly sat up and looked at Mivie's anxious face, saying "That girl seems to have transferred all her energy onto you, I guess your body couldn't handle the load which is why you fainted"
Meiwei still couldn't understand what had happened that night, and she quickly walked out again, determined to get to the bottom of it. Meiwei was still secretly worried in her heart, and before this, it's better not to tell others about the birthmark.
Looking at the girl who came and left in a hurry, he had a puzzled expression on his face. Perhaps even he himself didn't know that since Mavis appeared in his life, his facial expressions had inexplicably increased.
Mei Wei hastily headed to the library, everything that had happened recently was off track, completely overloading her cognitive abilities. No, it should be said that from the moment she stepped into this school, everything went off track.
