Chapter 076: The Murder Game

  Two days later, a group of top students from the school gathered at the entrance, waiting for their bus to depart. They were going to J City for a special training program.

  As they boarded the bus, Xiaohui noticed that Chenyan was sitting alone in his seat, looking rather pleased with himself. She couldn't help but feel a pang of annoyance towards him.

  The bus ride was uneventful until they started playing a game of "Murder". The rules were simple: one person would be the murderer, and the others had to figure out who it was before they got killed.

  Xiaohui was not very good at this kind of game, but she tried her best to pay attention. However, just as things were getting interesting, the bus suddenly screeched to a halt, throwing everyone off balance.

  Xiaohui's head hit Chenyan's shoulder, and she found herself in his arms. She quickly pushed him away, feeling embarrassed.

  The bus driver apologized for the sudden stop, explaining that they had arrived at their destination earlier than expected. The students reluctantly ended their game and returned to their seats.

  As they disembarked from the bus, Xiaohui couldn't help but notice the beautiful scenery around her. They were in a university town, surrounded by ancient buildings and towering trees.

  After checking into their dormitory, Xiaohui decided to take a stroll around the campus. She walked past a historic teaching building, admiring its Gothic architecture.

  Suddenly, she felt a tap on her shoulder. It was Chenyan. "Hey, Xiaohui," he said with a smile. "Professor Xu announced that our classes will start tomorrow at 8 am. We'll have two sessions: one from 8 to 11:30 am, and another from 2 to 5:30 pm."

  Xiaohui rolled her eyes. "What's it got to do with me?"

  Chenyan chuckled. "Well, I was thinking that we could eat breakfast together every morning at 7 am. And by the way, your meal ticket is with me."

  Xiaohui raised an eyebrow. "Why should I eat breakfast with you?"

  Chenyan grinned mischievously. "Because... your meal ticket is in my possession."
