First impression

First impression of junior high school

"School has started, school has started."

Wang Ao Xuan slept on the bed and was pulled by his father to school, paid the registration fee, and received his textbooks. He started his campus life.

  "Ding ding ding ding ding"

The bell rang, Wang Ao Xuan hastily pulled up his pants and rushed out of the bathroom towards the classroom. Classmates didn't know each other, some flipped through their new textbooks, others chatted with the students next to them, while more boys looked around, seemingly searching for beautiful girls in the classroom.

Wang Ao Xuan just lowered his head, neither reading nor looking at his classmates. The ignorant and naive Wang Ao Xuan put his thumb in his mouth and let his teeth bite his fingernails, making a "click click" sound.

Before long, the head teacher of the new semester walked towards the teachers, with long hair fluttering and wearing a white-collared uniform. At that time, I didn't understand what it meant to be charming, but now looking back, the two words "charming" are most suitable for that teacher.

"Hello everyone, I am your new class teacher for this semester. My surname is Zhang, and you can call me Teacher Zhang from now on. I hope to have a pleasant time with all of you in a friendly relationship between teacher and students, and spend the year together happily. Next year, you will be facing your two years of junior high school life, so I hope everyone can study hard and make progress every day. Now, let's start taking roll call, please respond when your name is called. Then we will elect our class cadres and reassign seats. Did you hear that?"

"Yes, Teacher Zhang." The classmates replied in unison.

"Fan Xiaomin." "Arrived." A chubby girl replied.

"Mu Qing." "Arrived." A very innocent and lovely girl replied.

"Liu Kai." "Arrived." A boy who makes people want to punch him just by looking at him replied.

"Wang Sanpi... still no one answered."

"Wang San Pi... At this time, you look at me, I look at you. Big eyes staring at small eyes, Wang Ao Xuan, who was also fidgeting, thought to himself, whose parents are these, actually giving their child such a ridiculous name."

"Oh, I misread it, it's Wang Bo, Wang Bo."

At this time, the eyes of the classmates began to wander again. A burst of laughter suddenly shook the entire classroom.

When Wang Ao Xuan heard the two words "Wang Bo", he was almost stunned. It turned out to be himself, that damned teacher, was he intentionally teasing him? Wang Ao Xuan's face turned bright red as if he had done something shameful and looked around at his classmates with a weak voice saying "here". He thought to himself, his dad gave him this name that made his classmates laugh at him, a surge of resentment suddenly rose up in his heart.

When Wang Ao Xuan stood up to answer, at that moment, all the classmates suddenly turned their heads around, there was a burst of laughter in his ears, and the teacher also smiled awkwardly, then said: "Oh, sorry, Wang Bo classmate, next time when writing your name, please write the 'Bo' character closer together, otherwise it will make people think it's two characters." Ugly smiling faces kept appearing in Wang Ao Xuan's mind, heavily striking his fragile and innocent heart.

  "Ding ding ding ding"

The bell rang, signaling the end of class. Wang Ao Xuan felt a sense of relief wash over him. The beautiful teacher, Zhang, had left the classroom. Wang Ao Xuan was moved to the 2nd group, 3rd row, where he sat next to a man named Xiao Han Ya. At this time, Wang Ao Xuan's self-esteem had taken a severe blow, and he didn't dare look up at his classmates as they walked by, each one snickering at the creative name:

"Haha, Wang Sanpi, where do you have three skins? Let me take a look." The classmates' malicious interpretation of Sanpi made Wang Aoquan's face turn red with rage. He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth, almost making the sound of grinding teeth that he usually made when sleeping at night. He fantasized about using Shaolin kung fu to beat up those bastards and make them lose their teeth all over the place, but reality was cruel. Those guys were all taller and bigger than him, and Wang Aoquan, who was only 1.6 meters tall, looked weak in front of them. It was a situation where he couldn't win in a fight, so he had to "endure".

"Haha, your name is Wang Bo, but it also sounds good if you're called Wang Sanpi, haha." The teasing from his deskmate Xiao Hanyi made Wang Aojuan even more embarrassed.

"What's my name got to do with you? You're a tomboy, how can you bear the name Xiao Hanyan, such a beautiful name, it's suffocating on you." Wang Ao Xuan couldn't help but feel relieved after saying this, as he thought to himself, "Haha, forgive me, I may not be able to beat up boys, but at least I can still beat up girls."

A loud slap landed on Wang Ao Xuan's face, and before he could even react, the man grabbed his hair and punched him in the face. The classmates all gathered around to watch, some clapping, cheering, and shouting "add oil", but none of them tried to stop the fight.

The final result, as expected, Wang Ao Xuan was beaten until his nose was blue and his face was swollen. What Wang Ao Xuan never expected was that for a man who looked like he did whatever he wanted, there was still a hero who came out to protect him.

After school, Wang Ao Xuan slung his backpack over his shoulder and walked out of the school. On his way home, he felt particularly aggrieved in his heart. His parents were probably busy with work, and there was no one at home. Wang Ao Xuan lay alone on the sofa, reading comics. In his heart, a fantasy emerged - to become strong, to be a martial arts master who can take on a hundred opponents, to be as tough as Bruce Lee or Tyson...

Every time at school, Wang Ao Xuan always couldn't escape being teased and ridiculed by his classmates, seemingly becoming the weakest bookworm in the class. Even the girls started ordering him around to buy them breakfast, sweep the floor, and do other chores for the class. He had grievances and complaints, but didn't dare speak out.

But he was always the top student in class, with first place in language and mathematics, and among the top five in the whole school. Sometimes he would talk to himself in front of the mirror, and it was good that there was one thing that could comfort him, giving himself a boost of confidence. But as his grades got better, he attracted more jealousy and ridicule from classmates who didn't do well, seemingly every generation is the same, with those who did poorly and those who did well always having some kind of gap and misunderstanding, although at the time they didn't know what was meant by "values". However, it was a good reflection, reflecting how good students were always the target of ridicule among boys who didn't do well. Of course, Wang Ao Xuan belonged to the group that was ridiculed.

Wang Ao Xuan's relationship with the teacher became better and better, and the charming Zhang teacher made him vice class monitor. The class monitor was of course the beautiful Mu Qing classmate. He also got along better and better with the high-achieving female students, at least the high-achieving classmates could bring a part of their classmates' admiration. The title of Wang San Pi was slowly forgotten by his classmates like a distant history.

On Labour Day, when Wang Ao Xuan was walking home with his backpack and class monitor Mu Qing, a familiar voice came from behind.

"Wang Sanpi, Wang Sanpi, stop right there." Wang Ao Xuan slowed down his pace. Not daring to turn back, in a short while, more than ten people chased after him. An extremely annoying classmate, Liu Kai, was among them, a troublemaker in school. Liu Kai grabbed Wang Ao Xuan's hair and forced him to kneel down. With the beautiful class leader standing nearby, the last bit of masculinity sparked within Wang Ao Xuan, "Why should I kneel?"

"Wang Sanpi, are you looking for death? Your grandfather is telling you to kneel down, and you actually dare not to kneel. A slap was slapped on Wang Ao's face. Although Wang Ao had always hated being slapped in the ear, he still didn't have the courage to fight back, but only stared at Liu Kai with a cold gaze."

"Fight back, you'd better fight back, or I'll beat you to death, you three-ply dead skin!" "Liu Kai, that's enough. If you keep this up, I'll tell the teacher tomorrow," Mu Qing said.

"Alright, forget it. Listen up, Wang Sanpi is telling you, next time you see me, behave yourself, got it?"

"I heard it, I heard it." Wang Ao Xuan replied in a low voice, covering his face which had turned bright red.

"Call out to Grandpa Liu Kai, let me hear it." Liu Kai smiled, and the people around him also smiled. Wang Ao Xuan lowered his head, feeling a bit embarrassed. After thinking for a moment, he thought that those who know how to adapt are heroes, and facing the scene of over 10 people made his weak heart feel a little afraid, but he still called out: "Grandpa Liu Kai".

"Haha, well-behaved grandson, be more honest next time, or I'll hit you once every time I see you."

After they left, Mu Qing didn't comfort Wang Ao Xuan, but instead walked alone on the way home, seemingly looking down on Wang Ao Xuan in front of him. Wang Ao Xuan's fists were clenched tightly, and the tears in his eyes kept falling down uncontrollably. When he got home, his mom saw that his clothes were very dirty and hastily asked: "Son, what happened? How did your clothes get so dirty? Tell Mom."

"Mom, I don't want to read books anymore." Wang Ao Xuan replied sadly.

"Son, why don't you want to read books anymore? What can you do if you don't read books?"

"I can do anything, I just don't want to read books anymore. I'm often bullied by my classmates at school, and they all laugh at me, calling me Wang Sanpi. I couldn't take it from those classmates." Wang Aojuan complained tearfully.

At this time, Wang Ao Xuan's father seemed to have heard it, put down the remote control and walked over, asking what was going on. Wang Ao Xuan wiped away his tears and told his father what had happened, but instead of getting comfort from his father, he got scolded instead:

"Trash, useless things, deserved it. If you don't resist yourself, you deserve it. To avoid being bullied, you must be strong, everything is said with fists."

"Mom, I don't want to read books anymore. I don't want to be bullied by others."

At this time, Wang Ao Xuan's uncle and aunt also came over to comfort him. After discussing with his parents about transferring schools, they decided to send him to the town's middle school to be taken care of by his uncle, who was also doing well in business in the county seat. Upon hearing his uncles' discussion, Wang Ao Xuan rubbed his head and couldn't help but feel happy.

In school, there is still a month before the holiday, Wang Ao Xuan endured the humiliation and looked forward to Saturday every day, counting down how much time was left until the final exam. Then he could transfer schools. Leave this school that he hated, leave those classmates that he hated, but in his heart, he couldn't help but feel some reluctance to part with Mu Qing.

Time passed minute by minute, second by second. He spent his days and nights in the same way. His status at school seemed to have not changed a bit, still being one of the targets for ridicule, mockery, and beatings. He endured everything because he just wanted to quickly end this school atmosphere and transfer schools as soon as possible. Day after day, night after night, the final exam finally arrived amidst his joyful anticipation. And he could finally leave this school, these people behind.

After the exam, he walked out of school and said goodbye to Guitian Middle School with a victorious gesture. On his way home, he ran into Mu Qing and chatted for a few sentences. Although he didn't know if they would have any fate to meet again. At least she was one of the people in school who I felt didn't look down on me.

Maybe we can meet. Maybe we can't. Fate itself is a wonderful lock, locking up those years and those unfinished coincidences!
