Chapter 44: Outing

  The car was driving on the highway, Tian Nuoyu sat in the back seat, silently staring out of the window.

  The driver was also smoking.

  Just like the day they left "Duan Shui Yi Yun" and headed home, Mu Yu Xing sat in the front passenger seat, chatting excitedly with Lan Sheng Yan, who still smiled faintly and occasionally responded softly.

  But unlike that day, today's Mu Yu Xin was like a bird out of its cage, every cell in her body was excited and swollen, as if she really wanted to grow a pair of wings on her back and flutter and dance in the sky.

  She chattered away with flying eyebrows, her two hands gesturing wildly as if the air inside the car was being squeezed out by her crisp words and bright laughter.

  Duan Liu Yun really fulfilled his promise to take them out for a stroll.

  Qiu's siblings also came along together.

  Today is Saturday, Mu Yuexin didn't go to school's training class, unexpectedly Mu Yaoyun agreed.

  Yesterday afternoon before school let out, Mu Yuexin called Tian Nuanyu and told her not to come pick her up, it turned out that Lan Shengyan had picked her up from school.

  She wore a pure white casual sport suit, her hair was simply tied into a ponytail, and she didn't wear any makeup on her face. The whole person looked innocent and lovely. Tian Nanyu felt a bit strange but didn't ask more questions.

  After having breakfast, Mu Yu Xing returned to her own room, but soon came down again with a light brown, small and exquisite female double-shoulder backpack in hand.

  Then Lan Shengyan reappeared in Jingxue Manor.

  Lan Shengyan was also wearing a pure white casual sportswear outfit, and standing with Mu Yuxin, the two of them looked like they were wearing couple's outfits.

  Everything has been arranged, everyone knows except her.

  She doesn't belong to their "family", she's just an outsider.

  They were together on a trip, but she was working, and all she had to do was follow the schedule.

  Tian Nuanyu didn't feel angry or depressed, but suddenly realized something and her heart calmed down a lot.

  There were not many vehicles coming and going on the highway, and each vehicle was driving much faster than on the ground road. After Lan Shengyan drove on the highway for about ten minutes, Duan Liuyun and Qiu Nianbai's car appeared on his left and right sides at the same time, and they drove side by side with him.
