Chapter 7 Freedom

  Tian Nuoyu's upper body was leaning against the window in her bedroom, she poked half of her head out of the window, closed her eyes and took a deep breath, as if to absorb all the freshness of the morning into her body. Every nerve in her body relaxed with pleasure.

  The bedroom door was suddenly knocked on.

  The knock at the door had only sounded once when Tian Nuanyu hadn't even had time to say "come in" before the door was pushed open.

  Tian Nu Yu took one look and it was Mu Yu Xin.

  Tian Nuanyu thought that only people who held the idea of "the early bird catches the worm" would get up early on a rest day, but she didn't expect Mu Yuxin to be already dressed and holding a small handbag.

  "You're up, that's good, let's go," Mu Yu Xin said as she stood at the bedroom door and then turned to head downstairs.

  Tian Nuoyu quickly walked out of the bedroom and followed Mu Yuexin downstairs.

  "Gu Sis, I'm not having breakfast, I'll eat out," Mu Yu Xing shouted to Gu Sis who was cooking in the kitchen, then walked through the living room and opened the front door to leave.

  Tian Nuanyu followed Mu Yuxin out of the villa and closed the door in the "oh" tone of Gui Shu.

  "Alright, I'll wait here for you, go drive," Mu Yu Xin tossed the car keys to Tian Nuan Yu.

  Tian Nuoyu took over the car key without asking much and walked into the garage to start the car.

  There are three cars parked in the garage. One is Mu Ao Yun's car, which he drives to and from work every day. He had already driven away early that morning. Another car was for use by Zhong Shu and Gui Sao, who would go to the city once a week to purchase daily necessities for the mountain villa.

  Mu Yuexin was not yet eighteen years old and did not have a driver's license, so she could not drive herself. Mu Ao Yun specially asked Driver He to drive her to and from school or go out. In fact, Mu Yuexin had been driving for three years. Mu Ao Yun knew that Mu Yuexin could drive, but he was worried that she would get into an accident because of her young age, so he never let Mu Yuexin drive herself.

  A month ago, when Mu Yuexin was sixteen years old and celebrating her birthday, Mu Aoyun couldn't resist Mu Yuexin's persistent requests and bought a pink original mini convertible as a birthday gift for her, only reminding her not to drive on the road by herself.

  Tian Nuanyu didn't see Driver Lao He, she knew that today she would be taking his place as the driver.

  She drove the car out of the garage and didn't speak until Mu Yu Xin got in the car and asked where they were going.

  "Let's go window shopping!" Mu Yu Xin's face didn't show too much excitement, but she looked more cheerful than the past few days when she was cooped up at home.

  Tian Nuanyu knew that Mu Yu Xing was like a "little beast" who had been trapped for six days and finally came out of its cage, she wanted to make the most of this day of freedom.

  After the car started, Mu Yu Xing said a sentence "Go to Floating City" and then stopped talking. She lowered her head and took out a makeup box from her handbag to start making up.

  Tian Nuanyu had already understood that Mu Yu Xin liked to put on makeup when sitting in the car, and it was best not to talk to her while she was putting on makeup. So Tian Nuanyu didn't make another sound, silently driving the car towards "Floating City".

  Through the rearview mirror in the car, Tian Nuoyu glanced at Mu Yuexin on the back seat. She had already skillfully applied eyeliner to one eye. Tian Nuoyu thought about the activities she had followed Mu Yuexin for the past few days and felt that Mu Yuexin was actually not as free as her.

  Muyuxin leaves home for school at 7:30 am from Monday to Friday, and gets off school at 4:30 pm. On Saturday, she still goes to school, learning dance from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, including ballet, classical, modern, and international styles. In the afternoon, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, she learns calligraphy with a brush pen and painting.

  This is an interest course arranged by the school, and each student selects according to their own interests. They can choose one or multiple courses. The teachers who teach these interest courses are all high-paid professionals hired from outside the school, and they have a very high reputation in society.

  Participating in these interest classes requires additional payment, which is paid according to the category chosen by oneself. The more you choose, the more you pay. For students in this school, money will not be their concern.

  Muyuxin sometimes participates in some school-organized club activities, these club activities are not just idle chat to pass the time, but are led by professional teachers and everyone together to exchange information and experiences on multiple aspects such as beauty, makeup, dress matching, interpersonal communication and social skills, and sometimes the content of the club activities also involves discussions and exchanges about relationships and dating experiences between men and women.

  Tian Nuanyu no longer found Mu Yuexin's makeup skills and precocity strange after understanding all this. She couldn't help but sigh, the world is indeed changing at a flying speed, when she was 16 years old, holding hands with boys would still make her blush, now it's already a common thing.

  After returning home, Mu Yu Xin still had to practice piano for an hour after dinner every day, and only then was it her free time. Tian Nanyu had never seen Mu Yu Xin bring homework back home, she said that they were all completed at school, so during her free time at home, Mu Yu Xin could do whatever she wanted, usually she would go online.

  In fact, Mu Yu Xin's free time every night was not very long. Usually she finished playing the piano at 8 o'clock, and at 10 o'clock every night she had to go to bed.

  From Monday to Saturday night, unless there's something special going on, Mu Ao Yun doesn't allow Mu Yu Xing to go out of the house. The only truly free time for Mu Yu Xing is this Sunday.
