Chapter 16: Enjoying Oneself

  Tian Nuoyu softly spoke out three words: "Yan Luo Wang".

  "What? Is it a nickname?" Mu Yu Xing exclaimed.

  "Not his alias, but his real name."

  "Why did he give him this name? His dad gave it to him!"

  "According to Yan Shu, it was his grandfather who gave him the name."

  Tian Nuanyu thought of the scene where every time someone asked about Yan Shu's name, Yan Shu would smile and answer, but others would be shocked and lose their color, and a smile appeared on her face.

  "What's his dad's name?" Mu Yu Xin suddenly became curious about the names of other people in Yan Shu's family.

  "Haha, I asked Yan Shu this question before with a few other waiters. He said many people had already asked him, so he just gave a straightforward answer: his father's name was Yan Wuchang and his grandfather's name was Yan Panguan."

  Tian Nuoyu's mind flashed back to Yan Hui's helpless expression when he answered their question, and she couldn't help but curve up the corners of her mouth in a smile.

  "My goodness! Their home is really the 'Gates of Hell'! But why is he the biggest? I remember that the big king in hell is Yanluo Wang!" Mu Yu Xin found it too funny and burst out laughing.

  "Maybe it's because his grandfather is eager for a grandson!" Tian Nuanyu also burst out laughing.

  The two of them chatted and laughed as they walked to the entrance. As they were about to open the door, Tian Nuoyu suddenly stopped Mu Yuexin: "Do you want to go to the restroom?"

  Mu Yu Xing looked at Tian Nuan Yu's finger pointing to the right side of the door, a purple sandalwood screen with dark flowers, and exclaimed in surprise: "Is this the bathroom?" She really thought it was just an ornamental screen.

  Tian Nuanyu nodded and walked over to pull open the screen, Mu Yu Xing went forward and peeked inside, it was indeed a bathroom, all in white, exceptionally simple and clean, aside from the toilet, there was also a large white marble sink, above the sink was a mirror.

  Mu Yu Xin walked in and closed the door, a few minutes later when Mu Yu Xin came out, Tian Nuan Yu found that her makeup was completely washed off, although her face was plain but more vivid than before.

  After going downstairs, the two saw that the first floor hall was still packed with tables. After Tian Nuanyu finished settling the bill and said goodbye to Yan Shu, the two walked out of the gate.

  On the car, Tian Nuanyu asked if she was going home, but Mu Yu Xin shook her head and only let Tian Nuanyu drive. She didn't say where they were going, just kept guiding Tian Nuanyu to keep driving all the way.

  The car drove for about twenty-five minutes, and Mu Yu Xin finally let Tian Nu Yu stop the car. Tian Nu Yu looked up and saw that the car had stopped in front of the entrance to an amusement park.

  Mu Yu Xing walked into the amusement park and headed straight for the roller coaster. She asked Tian Nuan Yu if she wanted to ride it, but when she saw Tian Nuan Yu shake her head, Mu Yu Xing got on alone. As the car flew through the air, flipping and turning, Tian Nuan Yu heard Mu Yu Xing's loud, clear laughter.

  Laughter like silver bells pierced through the clouds, without emotional repression, without any disguise, pure and innocent with a hint of childishness, clear and full of endless joy.

  When the flying car stopped, Mu Yu Xing ran to Tian Nuan Yu's face and excitedly hugged Tian Nuan Yu, shouting loudly: "Too exciting, too cool!"

  Because of excitement, Mu Yu Xing's entire face was flushed with a bright pink glow, and the big eyes sparkled with a strange light, as if they could re-ignite the gradually darkening sky.

  Looking at Mu Yu Xin, Tian Nuan Yu smiled slightly. At the age of sixteen, youth should be carefree and radiant!

  Out of the playground, the sky was already slightly dark, Mu Yu Xing may have had enough fun, and Tian Nuan Yu drove directly home.

  Back home, Guizhen had already prepared dinner. The two of them went back to their respective rooms to take a bath and change into clean clothes before heading downstairs to the dining room for dinner.

  Maybe Mu Yu Xing was tired from playing all day, after dinner she didn't stay in the living room and went back to her own room. Tian Nuan Yu helped Gui Shu clean up the table and also returned to her room.

  She had just sat down when the door of the room rang, and it was opened directly after knocking. This time Tian Nuanyu didn't need to guess, she knew it was Mu Yuxin.

  "Here you go," Mu Yu Xin tossed a small package onto Tian Nuan Yu's bed.

  Tian Nuoyu took a look and it was the perfume and lipstick she bought at the Lanc?me counter at noon.

  "You bought it for yourself, didn't you? I don't need this, you use it instead," Tian Nuanyu handed the packaged bag to Mu Yuxin.

  "I just bought it out of boredom, how can you not use it? Your dresser is empty, there's nothing on it." Mu Yu Xing glanced at Tian Nuan Yu with a slant, pointing to the dressing table.

  Tian Nuanyu glanced at the dressing table, on which there was only a bottle of skin care water and a bottle of perfume. She smiled: "I don't wear makeup, nor do I ever use perfume."

  "Really! I didn't use to before, but now I'll start. A woman should make herself look prettier, and later I'll take you to buy some makeup," Mu Yu said with a smirk.

  "No need, I've gotten used to not using them anyway. Using them now would make me feel uncomfortable all over," Tian Nuanyu handed the packaging bag to Mu Yuxin, feeling a burning sensation in her hand as she held it.

  "It's yours now, use it or don't, I don't care!" Mu Yu Xin tossed the packaging bag onto the bed and turned to walk out of Tian Nuan Yu's room.

  Tian Nuoyu helplessly shook her head, picked up the packaging bag, walked to the closet, opened the door and put the packaging bag in the corner, thinking that maybe this thing would never be used in this lifetime.
