Add one more chapter for KarlKing, thank you K ShuWu for reading me, and I wish everything goes well with you.
Mesi sat at the dinner table and said, "Uncle, can I write that in my diary?" Jingyang followed Mesi's gaze to the pot where a discarded cauliflower was upside down and nodded, "Your teacher will be happy too."
An Le's face is now as green as that cauliflower, isn't it just because she can't cook? Do these two cousins have to keep mocking her like this? They really don't understand the pain in her heart.
"Clean up after you're done eating." Jingyang said to Anle, he now knew why this woman relied on crackers for her dinner.
An Lele took a look around the empty surroundings, really having an urge to cry. She was his life assistant and Mei Xi's home tutor, but she didn't apply for the job of being their family's old mother! What is he doing?!
Finally collecting her things, An Lele slung her bag over her shoulder and prepared to leave. Jing Yang stood on the stairs and said: "It's so late, aren't you afraid of running into bad people?"
An Le smiled wryly and gave him a white eye, but in her eyes, there was no one worse than him.
"Don't worry, if that bad person runs into me, it's still unclear who will rob whom!" She said, continuing to walk towards the door.
"Stop right there! You're so obsessed with money, you'd almost rob your own family. And now you're out this late, causing the police even more trouble. Why don't you just stay here instead?" Jingyang said.
"It doesn't matter."
Jingyang knew her stubborn temper was acting up again, and as he walked, he said: "Stop showing off, the murder case that happened under the Dongtian Bridge a few days ago has not been solved yet. The car accident at the intersection killed six people on the spot, how many wronged souls are floating in the air? Are you going to go and plead for them?"
An Lele's thoughts were filled with the recent strange occurrences in Yaohua, and she couldn't help but feel a chill run down her spine. She was scared, but she didn't want Jingyang to notice. "Hmph, there are no ghosts in this world," she said, trying to sound brave. But in reality, her mind was filled with scenes from horror movies - zombies with talismans on their faces, the chainsaw killer from California... Jingyang saw through her fear and intentionally let out a loud "Ah!" which scared An Lele into running over to him and grabbing his arm tightly.
"Haha... stop showing off." Jingyang laughed happily.
An Lele was so angry about what Jing Yang did that she couldn't even get her words out straight. How could there be such a person?!
"Get up early tomorrow morning to prepare breakfast, you know?"
"What? You still want me to do it?"
"I dare to eat it, why don't you dare to do it?"
Jingyang handed her another cookbook. She held the thick "heavenly book" and had an urge to kneel down, what else could she do, why did he have to cook, a small comfort in his heart brought tears to her eyes as she sang a song "Holding a nest (a book) of food, not a drop of oil in the dish, life in the Jing family is so painful...", this adapted version of "Tears Behind Bars" suited her mood perfectly.
"Come with me."
"What's going on?"
An Lele watched him warily, her mind conjuring up all sorts of restricted scenes from TV dramas where the young maid was pushed down and rolled around in bed by the male lead.
"Come on up!"
"No!"
Jing Yang really had no patience to play tug-of-war with her here, quickly walking up to her and embracing her in his arms, running upstairs.
It's all over, it's all over, her innocence is about to be lost, no way, she's not that kind of person who doesn't care about her dignity.
"Let me go!"
Jing Yang put her down, looking at her covering her chest and dodging with both hands, and said with a playful expression on his face: "An Laoshi, don't insult my aesthetic vision, I'm not interested in little kids."
"You... who are you calling a kid? Who looks like a kid here?" Lele was infuriated by his words.
Chest!
"Ah!" An Lele felt like he was going to pass out, and on top of that, he thought his chest was too small. This guy always did this, it was as if he wasn't comfortable unless he was rubbing salt in her wounds.
"Alright, this room is yours, I think you'll be staying here often from now on."
Jingyang finished speaking and turned around to leave.
"No way, I don't like living here," An Le protested loudly.
"Don't talk and don't leave yourself a way out." Jingyang said as he entered his own room.
An Le turned around and looked at the unfamiliar surroundings in the room, then glanced out of the window at the pitch-black night sky. It seemed that she could only make do with staying here for a night.
Her phone suddenly rang, startling her. Who could be calling at this hour? She quickly took out her phone and looked at the screen, which displayed "Jing Xiaomei".
She answered the phone.
"Little beauty?"
"Haha, it's me, little girl, how have you been lately? Has that devil of a brother of mine been bullying you?"
"Of course he does, this guy takes pleasure in bullying me!"
"Really? Tell me about it!"
"Oh no, don't rub salt in my wounds again."
"Haha, did you cook instant noodles for Messi?"
"Huh? How did you know?" An Lele's face turned red at once, "Sorry, I shouldn't..."
"It's okay, thank you for letting Messi have the best breakfast!"
"Huh?"
"It was Messi himself who told me." Jing Xiaomei said with a smile.
"Huh?"
"Ah, cooking is an art, you have to put your heart into it to do it well, and enjoy the process of cooking," said Jing Xiaomei.
"Huh?"
"You're clever and capable, you'll do everything well, I believe in you!"
"Can you?"
An Lele really didn't know why Jing Xiaomei trusted her so much, even she herself didn't believe in herself. In her eyes, everyone was an apple bitten by God, with flaws. But for this apple, God took a big bite of her culinary skills, how depressing!
She lay on the bed looking at the recipe for cooking congee, and had never eaten pork or seen a pig run. Since she had drunk congee before, she should know how to make it.
At five o'clock in the morning, she got up and cooked porridge. The early bird catches worms, and Lele who gets up early can cook porridge.
Jingyang was sleeping, but suddenly smelled a strange smell in the air. He hastily got up and opened the door, only to find that the smell had grown thicker. He rushed downstairs.
"Uncle, what's the smell?" Messi also smelled it and followed Jingyang downstairs.
Hearing the sound of footsteps, An Lele hastily got up from the dinner table and ran to see her "careless" cooking porridge, a strong smell that also stimulated her olfactory membrane.
She reached out to grab the lid of the pot, "Don't move!" Jingyang shouted loudly!
However, she was still a step too late. As soon as her paw lifted the lid of the pot, it got scalded and let out a sharp cry, dropping the lid.
Jing Yang quickly pulled out the power cord, looking at the pot of dark and unclear objects inside. He let out a long sigh, wondering how many more surprising things this girl could do.
He grabbed her hand and put it under the faucet to rinse off the Anluoluo, turned his head to look at his "masterpiece", really wanting to run away with the gurgling water from the drain.
