Those naive and tender years of Peng Yin
In the scorching summer, the sky is a dismal white. In N City, where stone forests dominate the landscape, those hard buildings do not absorb heat like green plants, but instead store it, releasing it back into the air without any reserve, as if retaliating against the scorching sun bestowed by heaven. On the campus, cicadas reside on the big trees, hiding among the leaves and branches, complaining about the toxic sunlight that mercilessly scorches all living things, indulging in this activity day after day.
Tian Tian sat in the classroom with her hands clasped together, listening intently to the lesson. Although she had already mastered the simple knowledge on the blackboard, she still went over it again in her mind with great diligence. She had neatly combed her hair back and tied it into a long ponytail, revealing her pale forehead. Despite the sweltering heat of summer, not a single drop of sweat could be seen on her face, forming a stark contrast to the other children who were drenched in sweat from playing outside.
She occasionally glanced out the window, where the lush greenery was a sight to behold. She felt very satisfied that she could see these green plants with just a glance upwards, giving her a sense of openness. She couldn't help but think about the shocking incident at the rose garden a few days ago. She had asked Driver Zhang to investigate the Peng family's background and found out that they had two children, one of whom was Peng Sizi, and the other was 25-year-old Peng Yin.
This woman was not simple; apart from being the financial director of Huadu Headquarters, she also held a powerful position - the underground emperor of N City. It sounded unbelievable that a young woman could stand out among a group of bloodthirsty men and make them bow down to her. This was not just a matter of having money; in the underworld, even if you had millions, if the local snakehead didn't like you, they would kill you without hesitation.
Tian Tian couldn't imagine how powerful, ruthless, and cunning this woman must be. She only remembered one thing that Driver Zhang had told her about Peng Yin, which still lingered vividly in her memory. It was at a bar, where Peng Yin sat drinking alone, when a drunken man came over to flirt with her. Peng Yin didn't even glance at him, continuing to play with her wine glass. The man thought she was interested and started stroking her face with his finger, looking at her with a provocative gaze.
"Little girl, do you want to accompany me tonight? I won't treat you badly..."
Peng Yin finally turned her head towards the man, a smile playing on her lips, with an innate playful and evil charm staring at him. The Bloody Mary in her hand sparkled with dazzling red light, among many cocktails she only liked this one, making her feel like there was a sweet and sticky taste of blood flowing between her lips, like a poppy flower blooming fiercely, piercing people's hearts. She brought the glass to her lips and took a sip, then with a quick flick of her slender fingers, she splashed the remaining liquid all over the man's face. The man immediately stood up, his eyes wide open, wiping his expensive suit, cursing loudly: "You crazy woman!"
Peng Yin remained expressionless, staring at the man with her fiery red hair gleaming under the lights. She tilted her head slightly and called out, "Ah Hu, take him away." As she spoke, a burly man named Ah Hu and several rough-looking youths approached, grabbing the man by his collar. Ah Hu's massive fist struck the man's face, causing blood to gush out and a 3-centimeter-long wound to open up. Ah Hu punched the man again on the right cheekbone, which immediately swelled up with a large bruise. The man spat out a mouthful of blood but still managed to slur out, "You... you just wait..." Before he could finish speaking, another punch landed on his nose bridge, causing blood to flow into his mouth and staining his teeth a deep red color, making him look even more disheveled. At this point, the man's face was no longer visible, only the blood dripping from his face onto the floor, a shocking sight. Of course, in a place like this, a fight breaking out was nothing out of the ordinary. The young people continued to dance wildly, shaking their heads, while the men who were flirting with women remained expressionless, slipping their hands into the women's underwear. The bartender continued to elegantly hold his tray, serving colorful cocktails to the customers and pocketing tips with a smile. People had long since grown accustomed to such incidents.
"Do you know who you've offended?" Ah Hu's low voice whispered into the man's ear.
"There's no need to say so much." Peng Yin lit a cigarette, held it between her fingers, and blew out a mouthful of smoke as she softly said, "Didn't you say I'd be accompanying you tonight?"
The man hung his head and didn't have the strength to speak, only panting heavily. Peng Yin grabbed his hair, forcing him to look into her eyes. "When I'm speaking, no one dares not to look at my eyes."
The man was forced to stare at her piercing eyes, which were as sharp as a sword, and a sense of fear arose from the bottom of his heart. His whole body went soft and weak, his legs trembling violently, and he knelt down on the floor with a thud. However, Peng Yin did not intend to let him off. She bent down, blew a breath of fragrance into the man's ear, and said in a slow, husky voice that was unique to women: "What? Don't you need it anymore?" She straightened up, her facial expression even colder than before, like a snow-capped mountain that had been frozen for thousands of years. "Ahu, cut off his thing."
As soon as the words fell, the man's face turned pale, and he subconsciously retreated backwards. Ah Hu and several sturdy men pushed the man to the ground, quickly pulling down his pants. A shrill cry like a pig being slaughtered followed, as he rolled around on the floor in agony, his lower body bleeding profusely. His hands covered his crotch, but couldn't stop the fresh blood from gushing out. Ah Hu placed the thing on a plate and handed it to Peng Yin. She took a simple glance, spat out a mouthful of smoke, and said, "What do I want it for? Let him swallow it."
The man's eyeballs were covered with bloodshot, he stared incredulously at the woman in front of him like a death god, he didn't care about the pain, knelt down at Peng Yin's feet, hugged her legs and spoke incoherently: "Please... please... let me go... please..."
"Haven't you started yet?" Peng Yin's tone was clearly dissatisfied.
Ah Hu grabbed the man's hair and lifted him up, one of them pried open his mouth with force, another person stuffed something into it. The man wanted to bite down hard and refuse to swallow, but it was a futile struggle. His resistance only brought more violent blows, he whimpered and struggled, unable to move under the restraint of the robust men. Peng Yin watched the man coldly, a hint of contemptuous smile on her lips. Finally, the man swallowed, his strength exhausted, lying motionless on the ground like a corpse. "Give him a glass of water, don't let him spit it out," Peng Yin said before turning to leave, the expensive perfume on her body mixing with the bloody smell in the air, creating an eerie scent. The bar remained as lively as ever...
