The girls transformation from a caterpillar into a butterfly

Those years of tender and green time, girls' transformation from cocoon to butterfly

The competition continued to be intense and wouldn't stop due to some unexpected events. The students who had enough of the excitement turned their attention to the next team event - the relay race. In this project, each group consisted of three girls and three boys. Since the physical strength of the boys in junior high school was already significantly better than that of the girls, each class arranged for the boys to be at the back of the girls to take charge. Tian Tian was arranged as the third female athlete in the relay race. At this moment, she had already walked off the field, and the pain that came like a wave without warning did not weaken even though she prayed. The pain had tortured her so much that she had no extra strength left. Her face was pale, and there were small beads of sweat on her forehead. The class teacher seemed to have noticed something unusual about her and asked about her physical condition several times. She shook her head to indicate that everything was fine, but the teacher could only give up.

"Tian Tian, are you sure you're okay?" Yao Le Tong asked, eyeing Tian Tian sideways.

"Hmm, you're overthinking it." Tian Tian said with a poker face.

"Alright, I'll take over from here, you can hand it over to me now."

"Good." She said, inadvertently glancing at Tian Cheng running down from the stands. His eyes were piercing and his expression was flustered. Did this kid see her pale face and unnatural movements? Or could he guess what she was going to do with just one move? Tian Tian shook her head to indicate that she was fine, but he didn't pay attention to her actions or attitude. He stubbornly ran to her side, handed over a bottle of water, and said, "Drink it."

"I'm fine, Xiaocheng," she said with a bitter smile.

"Have a sip, this is warm water I borrowed from my classmate, it's not very cool." As she said that, she twisted open the lid and handed it to Tian Tian.

She had no choice but to take over the water bottle, took a sip, and said with feigned ease: "Can we go back to the broadcast booth now?"

Tian Heng didn't respond to her words, instead pulling out a handkerchief from his pocket and gently wiping away the sweat on her forehead. "You're not feeling well, right? So later I'll run with you."

"Ah?" Tian Tian's eyes widened, "Xiao Cheng, are you kidding me? This is a competition."

"What's wrong with that? I've already told the teacher that I need to take care of a patient, and besides, the teacher has already agreed." Tian Cheng shrugged his shoulders and said indifferently.

Tian Tian had no choice but to give up on driving him away. Originally, she was still afraid that she would faint and he would worry. Tian Tian lowered her eyes, not saying anything else, and simply supported her stomach with one hand, no longer hiding the discomfort of her body.

"I know you won't give up, so after your match is over, we'll head home." Tian Cheng said, he also didn't know when he started not calling her "sister" anymore, nor did he call her by name. Fortunately, she didn't feel uncomfortable about it either, thinking that his slightly presumptuous behavior had put him at ease a lot.

The game had just begun, and Tian Tian's class had maintained a good score. The girls were all desperately running, with the determination to win honor for their class, rushing forward. Fortunately, she was in second place, as long as she kept this position, "do her best." Tian Cheng, who was beside her, seemed to have guessed her thoughts and suddenly popped out with a sentence, "I will be by your side."

Tian Tian turned back to look at him, and in his determined gaze, she got a certain concerned affirmation. She suddenly felt a burning power rising up to her heart, slowly turning into a fire lotus flower, warming her spleen and lungs. She suddenly smiled and nodded heavily.

The moment she grasped the baton, she seemed to have forgotten the pain that had spread throughout her body. The weight of responsibility had strung her up like a marionette on the track. She couldn't feel the wind in her ears or the cheers of the crowd; all she felt was the steady strength given by the boy beside her, who was as light as a feather and almost lifted her off the ground, breaking free from her shackles to greet the vast blue sky - the most comforting solace in her moment of suffering.

Her long legs were running non-stop, and Tian Cheng beside her began to worry about her. She was clearly in pain, clearly exhausted, where did she get so much energy? Her pale face had a few more red flushes, sweat droplets dripping from the side of her ear. He wanted to say something to her, don't try so hard. But he remained silent, not wanting to distract her. When she surpassed the girl who was originally in first place, a hint of a smile appeared on her lips, and as she ran down the red plastic track, sweat dripping from her face, but what she didn't notice was that a faint red blood stain had seeped out from the fine needle stitches on her thigh, slowly flowing down to form a small red river. That was the taste of the green grass in Tian Tian's memory, the bitterness of youth, at that moment, on that playground, beside that boy, she was like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon, stretching out its colorful wings, transforming into a beautiful silhouette. The shyness in her bright eyes made the boy unforgettable for a long time...

As she handed the baton to Yao Le Tong, her stomach cramped from overexertion and she fainted onto the ground. Her body curled up into a fetal position, her long eyelashes drooping down, and her lips tightly closed. Tian Cheng rushed over to pick her up and sprinted towards the medical room, unaware of where he got the strength from. He was frantic with worry, his palm feeling warm and moist. When he pulled back his hand, bright red blood burst forth like a mesmerizing mandala on his palm. His head suddenly felt a violent impact, and he ran even faster towards the medical room, repeating the words "can't have anything happen to her" over and over again. He kicked open the door to the medical room, ignoring the doctor's shocked gaze, and shouted loudly: "Save her!"

He nervously placed Tian Tian on the hospital bed, staring blankly at the fresh blood on his hands, unsure of what to do. Tian Tian still had her eyes tightly closed. The young man pulled out a chair and gazed at her calm face, suddenly tearing up because of his helplessness. He hastily wiped away his tears, biting his lip to hold back his sobs. He was afraid that if he woke her up, she would see his weak side, and he didn't want her to see him like that.

Later, the female doctor walked into the room with a huge band-aid, leaving him bewildered as to why she wasn't rushing to save Tian Tian but instead brought this strange thing he had never seen before. He couldn't help but ask, "What's that..."

"Sanitary napkin." The doctor didn't elaborate any further. She suddenly raised her eyes and said, "You step aside for a moment."

"Uh..." Tian Cheng hesitated for a moment, scratched his head, and walked out. He sat on the long bench in the hall, still thinking about what the doctor had said. Sanitary napkin, what is a sanitary napkin? He must ask Alan carefully when he got home. Could it be that only this thing could cure Tian Tian's illness? Is this doctor's medical skills reliable... It seems that he still needs to take Tian Tian to a big hospital for a thorough examination! He nodded his head firmly in agreement with his own thoughts.
