Chapter 5 07. I miss you, cat

  Chapter 5: 07 I miss you, cat-like

Early morning. Soft white light passes through the gap in the curtains and falls on the bed.

The cat was wrapped in a thin blanket, turned over on the bed, and still had a warm smile at the corner of its mouth. It seemed to have just had a beautiful dream, with many feathers in the dream, one of which fell on its lips, making it feel itchy.

She continued sleeping for a long time, until the sunlight fell on her body, with a fluffy red covering over her eyelids. She squinted and got up in a daze.

"What is this place?" She looked around the ordinary and tidy room, not recognizing it. Why was she still wearing a white shirt? And it was even a men's style! Thinking carefully about what happened yesterday... Ah... That boy... He wouldn't have done anything to her, would he?!

The cat jumped up from the bed with a start, fortunately, his pants were still on. At this time, the bathroom door suddenly opened and a man came out.

It was just yesterday! He actually had the nerve to show up again and stare at himself. Mao Ni was so angry that he almost burst his lungs: "Who are you? Why did you bring me here?"

Li Chen narrowed his eyes, he wasn't angry, he really wasn't angry. Even though she still hadn't recognized herself until now.

"What are you looking at?" The cat was annoyed. "To be honest, did you do anything to me yesterday?"

"Yesterday?" Liang Chen's voice was cold and detached as he gazed at her, slowly closing in. The inexplicable sense of danger emanating from him caused Miao Miao to involuntarily back away, until she had nowhere left to retreat, and could only glare up at him with a defiant expression.

"What's going on? Does this count?" Liang Chen leaned against the wall with one hand, and suddenly cupped Cat Nian's head with the other, leaning in for a kiss.

Bang! At the critical moment, Cat Nick's head suddenly flashed with inspiration, and he kicked him away: "Get out of here! You pervert!"

"Good day, take a few steps back, covering his stomach, his face turned even colder: 'What did you just call me?'"

"Pervert!" The cat glared at him, covering her chest and repeating in a huff. "You actually thought you could kiss me? Dream on."

"If I said we kissed yesterday, and...". He glanced at her covered chest, "You don't need to cover it up, I've seen it, not that it's any attractive."

As she spoke, she looked away, gazing out of the window, a delicate flush rising to her cheeks.

If she hadn't thrown up all over him, he wouldn't have deigned to do such a thing.

"You..." The cat's words were cut off, and she suddenly felt something was wrong. Her neck felt empty! The ring that Liang Chen had entrusted her to keep was gone!

"Pervert! Did you steal my ring? Give it back to me quickly!"

Liang Chen pretended not to hear, and it wasn't until so long had passed that he discovered the ring was gone. He really didn't matter to her at all.

"Hurry up and give it to me, or I'll call the police and have you arrested!" The cat jumped out of bed with its phone in hand, pretending to dial 110.

"What's up?" Liang Chen asked casually while drinking water, looking at her with great interest.

"Cut the crap and hand it over quickly, or I'll accuse you of rape!" Cat Nick seemed to be really furious.

A good opportunity was wasted as she didn't spit it out. He thought she would accuse him of robbery, but unexpectedly... What's going on in her head?

"Is that ring important to you?" He calmed down a bit and spoke lightly.

  "Right."

"How important is it?" Liang Chen's eyes were serious as he looked at her.

"It's very important, anyway! Ugh, why do I need to tell you? You talk too much! What are you looking at me for? Why did you suddenly come over here? Get lost! Pervert!" Just as Catnip was about to kick him again, he suddenly hugged her tightly, with such force that it seemed like he was embracing the entire world.

"I miss you so much. Kitty."

The cat was stunned, its heart sank a block, its paws trembled, and it didn't even know when the phone slipped out of its paws.

Li Chen leaned his chin on her shoulder and spoke in a low, husky voice. "I've missed you."

A few strands of sunlight filtered through the window and streaked across their hair as they maintained their embrace, lingering without parting for a long time.

Until the phone fell to the floor with a crash, the cat's dazed eyes suddenly regained their luster, and she tentatively called out that long-unheard name.

"Are you...Liang Chen?" The moment the words left her mouth, her eyes unexpectedly became moist.
