Chapter 21 Nightmare 2

Chapter 21 Nightmare 2 Crossing Over Becoming Cinderella's Beautiful Sister Tian Xia Bookstore

He had caressed and fondled this body many times, each time marveling at its beauty. His desire had swollen to the breaking point. The king roared like a beast, his foul lips violating the woman beneath him. In the moonlight, Lydia's pure skin was inflamed, as if bitten by lice, red and swollen all over. Lydia curled up her toes in shame.

  "Ahh!!! Ahh!!!"

Katy burst into the door and saw her mother and a stranger naked and entwined on the bed. She couldn't express her horror, she could only scream nonstop. The servants who rushed to the scene were frightened out of their wits, they didn't want to lose their heads. Four or five people covered Katy's mouth and carried her out while she struggled. The servants pitied the mother-daughter pair and instead of punishing Katy, they just locked her in the woodshed.

Lydia was beside herself with rage and shame, using all her might to pry the two bodies apart. The king sensed Lydia's desperation and reached out to grab her, but she had anticipated this move and instead of crashing into the pillar, she pulled out a pair of scissors from under the pillow. With a determination to die, Lydia plunged the scissors into his chest before the king could react.

Bright red blood splattered the king's face and body, the luxurious imperial robe was stained with sticky redness. Unexpectedly, this plaything that had been wantonly bullied by him turned out to be so fierce, the king didn't come back to his senses for a long time, he stared at Lydia's fallen body, on her pure white flesh, a gorgeous red flower bloomed.

Moses received a summons from the King of M to enter the palace, and under the leadership of the attendants, he arrived at the most secluded palace on the east side of the palace. A mirror-like lake isolated this place from the roads that connected it with other palaces. As soon as Moses arrived in front of the lake, someone came ashore in a small wooden boat to take him across. Standing in the boat, swaying back and forth, he sailed towards the opposite shore. The calm surface of the lake reflected the beautiful inverted image of the White Dew Palace. Occasionally, two or three water birds flew out from the garden of the White Dew Palace, skimming over the peaceful surface of the lake, creating ripples in the water. Moses looked at the familiar yet strange scenery and couldn't help but feel complicated inside. Twenty years ago, this place had become a forbidden area of the palace, and Moses hadn't been here for just as many years. He remembered the glorious scene of the White Dew Palace back then and the goddess who was now nothing more than a legend.

The design of the White Dew Palace is very close to nature, with buildings on a gentle slope at the foot of a small hill, where a babbling brook flows through the house and into Mirror Lake. The second floor balcony intercepts part of the stream to form a natural swimming pool. The king sits by the pool's edge on smooth stone slabs, watching leaves fall onto the water and float away. Moses dare not disturb him, standing nearby accompanying His Majesty in mourning for the queen. It wasn't until the sunset dyed Mirror Lake blood red that the king finally moved his sour eyes.

  "Is there any new news."

Moses woke up with a start and hastily stepped forward several steps.

"Charlotte has been found, and the curse on her is exactly the same as it was back then."

"Argh! Why is she always so disobedient!"

The king's anger was kindled and he struck his thigh, Moses continued

"Why didn't Your Majesty order me to bring Charlotte? I heard that Princess Visse and the Duke of Windsor are on good terms, and Charlotte is an old lover of the Duke of Windsor. It would be awkward if the two women were to meet."

"It's not time yet, just have someone keep an eye on it for now."

"Besides, Cinderella still has no news."

  The king was very surprised

"Oh? How is this possible? Who has such great power? To actually be able to hide someone in my kingdom, didn't you investigate who took Cinderella away that day?"

Moses was hesitant about whether to speak up or not, he obviously had something to say but didn't dare to.

"Your Majesty, I beg your pardon for what I am about to say, it is my fault."

  "You're forgiven, speak."

"Your Majesty, I suspect it was Prince Charming who hid Cinderella."

  "Go on."

"Before Your Majesty punished the Lucas family, they attended a dinner party hosted by the prince, during which His Highness seemed to have taken a liking to Cinderella, and everyone saw it,"

"Moses said a boastful remark, 'In the whole world, there are only three people who can hide a living person from me, and they are Your Majesty the King, the Duke of Windsor, and His Highness the Prince. The Duke of Windsor is not close to Cinderella, so it must be His Highness the Prince who did this.'"

The king fell silent after hearing this. He really didn't want to believe that his own son would go against him, and perhaps all of his concealment was instigated by that wicked woman!

"Go, search all the princes' villas, and execute Cinderella on the spot if found!"

Moses saw that the king had lost his composure and hastily interceded for him.

"Your Majesty, absolutely not! Killing Cinderella would not only render all previous efforts useless but also harm the relationship between you and Prince!"

"I don't believe it! If Rochester dares to offend me because of a sorceress, I'll, I'll destroy him!"

"Your Majesty, I have a good plan! Why not announce the engagement of Princess Visa and the prince in advance, forcing Cinderella to come forward herself? Your Majesty can pretend to agree to their engagement on the condition that she hands over the treasure map. Women are irrational when it comes to love, and Cinderella is no exception. Once we have the treasure map, something unexpected can happen at the engagement ceremony, which no one can control. It's just that our Princess Visa will have to make some sacrifices, so please comfort her, Your Majesty."

"Alas! I'm doing it for his own good too."

"His Royal Highness will surely understand Your Majesty's painstaking efforts."
