Chapter Fifty

  Chapter Fifty

I don't want to be late because I have to make breakfast for this fox.

Yesterday was my turn on duty and I was late, caught by the teacher and scolded. If I'm late again today, I'll probably be punished again.

He raised his legs, looked at me with disdain and said, "With me here, you can rest assured, it's just making breakfast, I won't let you be late."

"School isn't your family's business, you say you won't be late and then you're not late!"

I couldn't help but complain again, raised my hand and took another look at my watch, the time had already reached 7:47, there were only thirteen minutes left before class started.

Think about it, encountering a monster is nothing to be afraid of, but being caught by the class teacher is truly terrifying.

I tried to tempt the fox with something else, and said to him: "Can't you not eat? Endure it until we get to school, and we'll go buy some snacks. They're much better than rice."

  "Snacks?"

The fox looked at me and said, "Can I have some snacks?"

I almost forgot again, he is an ancient relic who has been asleep for thousands of years. He nodded at him with a definite expression: "Okay, of course, snacks are meant to be eaten by people."

The fox pouted and stretched out its hand to touch its belly, saying: "It's okay!"

This answer was unexpected, he actually agreed.

He picked up the book in his hand and swung it into the air, then caught it again. He stood up, rushed to the door, and stretched his arms upwards with a lazy yawn.

I followed behind him and tactfully took the book from his hand, starting as his personal little book boy.

As expected, as soon as I stepped out of the hospital door, the fox lifted me up with one hand and jumped onto the roof of the neighboring house with a loud crash of tiles shattering beneath his feet.

"Hurry up and walk, you've trampled on someone's roof." I urged anxiously.

He didn't say anything and his body jumped up again, like a kangaroo hopping away, rushing towards the school.

When I arrived at school, I was already so tired that I could hardly stand up straight. I hunched over and panted heavily in front of the school gate, rubbing my stomach which still hurt a bit. I didn't know if it was because of the fox's energetic jumping or because I hadn't eaten breakfast early in the morning.

"The thirteenth generation, Ben Zun has returned to that house first. Hurry up and get some food for Ben Zun to fill his stomach."

Before I could tell him which direction 'that house' was in, the fox had vanished without a trace.

I ran to the convenience store, bought some snacks and stuffed them into my backpack, then hurriedly rushed towards the classroom.

Class time has arrived, and the students in the neighboring class are not attending classes either. They all ran to the door of our classroom. I hadn't even entered the classroom yet when I was squeezed back by a group of overly enthusiastic classmates.

"Xia Ben Zun classmate is the most handsome, Xia Ben Zun classmate long live."

Suddenly, someone shouted out such a sentence, and then all the girls followed suit, while the boys were squeezed.

Watching with cold eyes on one side, with a scornful expression.

I dodged the crowd and took a few steps back, covering my ears with my hands.

I don't know who shouted this slogan, and what's the big deal about it, he's not some kind of great figure, just a pretty face.

I looked up to see the fox raising its hand and waving its arm, greeting the girls around it. It seemed like a national leader or something. Its gaze shifted towards me, and the corner of its mouth twitched, sending chills down my spine.

"Thirteenth generation, come, hurry up and hand it over to me."

The fox slyly curled up its fingers and smiled with ill intentions.
