Chapter Twenty-Four

  Chapter Twenty-Four

  "Thirteen generations..."

The fox slowly spat out these three words with a heavy tone.

I suddenly felt something was wrong. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with this forest. If I were, I would have run away by now.

As I met his gaze, which seemed to hold a hint of danger, I felt afraid and lowered my head, responding to him in a rather cowardly manner: "Fox Spirit Lord, do you have any... instructions?"

"That big cockroach has something to do with that female ghost, you seem to care about it a lot!" He raised his eyebrows, his face full of threat as he spoke to me.

"What's wrong?" I avoided his inquiring gaze and vehemently denied it.

He lowered his head and slowly approached me, I felt a surge of super-pressure air rushing towards me, in an instant, my heart was stuck in my throat, and breathing became somewhat difficult.

He smiled with a sinister face, his head suddenly came close to me, completely unaware of what was called "men and women giving and receiving lightly", until his nose hit my nose, he stopped, his thin lips opened and closed, and he whispered: "You wouldn't have fallen in love with that big cockroach, would you?"

"Huh?" I muttered, uttering a sound that was quite displeasing to him.

The fox's eyebrows furrowed, and the nose that had just pulled away slammed back into place. I rubbed my nose, somewhat displeased, and glared at him, explaining: "I've only known him for a few days, how could I possibly like him? Even if I did..."

Before I could finish speaking, I noticed the fox's expression turned solemn, so I quickly changed my tone and said: "At most, it's just a little affection."

"Don't have good feelings towards him."

The fox put on a fierce face and said in a menacing tone.

Thinking about it, this fox has been to my house for only a few days, he snatched my first kiss, and even touched my body, now he still wants to control my mind, no way, not even a window.

I was furious and couldn't help but shout at him: "You're just a stinky fox who's meddling too much! Who I have feelings for is my own business, it has nothing to do with you, don't you dare try to control me!"

"Don't let me interfere with you." He gritted his teeth, turned around and smiled at me with a pleased expression, "Then you can busy yourself alone, I'll go back and rest first."

As I saw him turn to leave, I suddenly panicked and stretched out my hand to grab him without thinking. As I turned my head to glance at Zhang Ruo's head, the female ghost also slowly took off her clothes and walked up to hug Zhang Ruo tightly.

"Fox, fox, come back quickly, I know I was wrong, hurry up and save him."

He turned around and glanced at me, rarely, without finding trouble with me again, tightly holding my hand, suddenly jumping up and rushing to the back of the woods near that pool of water.

It really worked this time, the white smoke in front of me dispersed, and the two figures, Zhang Ruofei's and the female ghost's, truly appeared before my eyes. My gaze involuntarily followed down Zhang Ruofei's body, but before I could see clearly, the fox spirit covered my eyes with one hand.

"Don't stare randomly, or I'll dig out your eyes."

  "Mmm, I won't look, I won't look." I promised.

He seemed to be very worried, tore off a corner of his clothes and tied it behind my ear, leaned down beside me and whispered: "Stay here quietly and don't move, brother will be back soon."

"Go? Where are you going?" I was a bit afraid that he would leave me behind, so I reached out and tightly grabbed his sleeve, asking anxiously.

  "Go save the cockroach."

He answered lightly, and then I felt a slight touch on my mouth, cool and refreshing with a hint of fragrance, the taste seemed not to be Extra, but some other brand of chewing gum.

"It doesn't feel too bad, does it?"

He burst out laughing, but then a small tree behind him shook violently and he jumped out. He was indeed a kangaroo spirit!
