Chapter 9 Thank you for yesterday
The next day, Zheng Tianyi hobbled into the classroom with his hands and legs covered in red medicine, a big patch of bright red that was particularly eye-catching.
"Tianyi, what's wrong with your injury?" Liqin asked with concern as soon as she stepped into the classroom.
Facing Li Qin's concerned gaze, Zheng Tianyi felt a bit shy, lowered his head and scratched the back of his head with a smile: "That was when I accidentally fell last night after school."
"Someone as big as you can still trip and fall while walking, be more careful next time."
"Uh-huh, got it." Still responding with her head down.
"Li Qin, Teacher Cui is looking for you." The sudden shout at the classroom door interrupted their conversation.
"Alright, got it," Li Qin replied, turning around. Then she turned back to Zheng Tianyi and said, "I'll go first."
"Good!" After Li Qin left, Zheng Tianyi let out a light sigh. He then lifted up his face that had already turned red with shame. Returning to his seat, he faced the empty space beside him and muttered to himself. "Although you're quite arrogant and have a bad temper, thanks anyway for yesterday."
"What are you muttering about in front of my seat?" Zheng Tianyi was startled by the sudden voice. He raised his head and met Han Yajie's icy gaze. "You, why are you so early today?"
"What's wrong? I came early today and you're still unhappy?" Han Yajie glared at Zheng Tianyi, making him feel a little scared.
"No, no, not at all... and also thank you for yesterday."
"My dad doesn't know what you're talking about." With a swing of her backpack, Han Yajie fell asleep on her desk.
What kind of person is he? Looking at Han Yajie, who had just arrived in the classroom and was already fast asleep on his desk, Zheng Tianyi thought to himself that no matter what kind of person he was, it had nothing to do with him. Anyway, he had thanked him for yesterday's incident, and they were even. Thinking this way, Zheng Tianyi felt relieved, opened his backpack, took out his language textbook, and got ready for the first language class.
