Chapter 27 April Fool's Day
"How's that? Tell me, what do you think?" The voice of Luan teacher came from the office, and standing in front of her was Ouyang, holding that book about youth.
"I wasn't really thinking, I just looked at it during class." Ou Yang said, putting the book on the desk. Luan teacher picked up the book and flipped through it, then said: "Zhao Junyi said you were reading comics, why did you bring this kind of book? This should be something girls would read, right?" Ou Yang shifted to the left and said: "It's just this one, there's no rule that says boys can't read this." Luan teacher smiled and said: "You're quite stubborn, so you'll stay in my office for a class period and then go back." Ou Yang thought about the next class being math, thinking that it was either sleeping or doing nothing, and didn't say anything. During the next class period, Ou Yang stood in the office, occasionally Luan teacher would ask him some questions, such as his learning status, whether he brought a phone to school, and why he wanted to read extracurricular books. But most of the questions were about math class, Ou Yang was straightforward and said he didn't like the new math teacher, Luan teacher didn't say anything. Since it was just reading extracurricular books during class, there wasn't much to say, after a class period, Luan teacher let Ou Yang go back, but the extracurricular book had to stay with the teacher forever. After the math class ended, it was just lunchtime, Ou Yang hadn't eaten yet and went to the bookstore with Wang Lin, bought the latest one, and put it in Xiao Zhu's desk drawer. During lunch, Ou Yang found out that Zhao Junyi had spread rumors about Xu Yuejie, planned to find Zhao Junyi to clarify things in the afternoon, but Xu Yuejie stopped him, saying: "It's okay, I'm not particularly concerned, you just need to be more careful around him in the future. By the way, where's your extracurricular book?" Ou Yang pointed to Zhou Feng's desk and said: "I put it there before." Wang Lin said while eating: "Isn't that guy friends with Zhao Junyi?" Xu Yuejie shook her head and said: "I think they won't be for long." Xue Mei, who was eating on the side, spoke up: "Tomorrow is April Fool's Day, do you have any pranking plans?"
Ouyang suddenly remembered that tomorrow is April Fool's Day, so he said: "Probably just something like untying shoelaces to make someone bow their head, I couldn't think of any other tricks either."
"I actually have an idea." A voice came from the doorway, and Ouyang looked over to see Zhou Feng, who had just returned with takeout. They asked Zhou about his idea, and after hearing him out, they all burst out laughing.
It was almost time for the afternoon class when Ouyang's mobile phone rang, it was his mother's call. Ouyang walked out of the classroom to the playground to answer the phone. After what happened in the morning, Ouyang suddenly felt that doing anything in the classroom was not very safe.
"Morning dew, why did you bring extracurricular books to school?" It was Feng Hongyan's questioning voice on the other end of the phone.
"Actually it wasn't me, it was my deskmate's book. She was the one reading it and didn't want to get in trouble with the teacher. Zhao Junyi has a grudge against her, so I just helped her out."
Feng Hongyan still had some doubts and said: "Are you lying?"
Ouyang said somewhat impatiently: "Do you think I'm that kind of guy who chases after young girls?"
As soon as she heard this, Feng Hongyan smiled and said: "I just said that, okay? You go back to class now, don't cause any more trouble for me at school. Be careful around Zhao Junyi too. And if there's another situation like this, your teacher will come find me at the school, you don't want to make me lose face."
Ouyang responded with a murmur and then hung up the phone.
"Hey, Ouyang Chenxi, looks like you're not busy." Walking over from the other side of the playground was Zhao Junyi. Ouyang immediately put his phone back in his pocket, not letting Zhao see it.
"Thanks to you, nothing happened, I should thank you instead. You helped me skip a particularly boring class." Ouyang said to Zhao Junyi, who was standing alone, looking like no one wanted to be friends with him. Ouyang thought about the prank plan they had discussed in class earlier and said: "Sorry, I was wrong about what happened at the internet cafe. Let's just forget about it, okay? If you want to read any extracurricular books, I can bring them for you, but those few comic books have already been lent to someone from another class." Zhao Junyi looked at Ouyang's humble attitude and didn't know what to say, so he just said: "Since you apologized, let's just forget about it then." He walked upstairs, and Ouyang followed behind him, secretly smiling.
On April Fool's Day, Zhao Junyi came to school and was found by Ouyang. He said: "Just now, teacher Ruan asked you to go to her office, saying that she wanted to praise you because you exposed me for reading extracurricular books yesterday." Zhao Junyi was overjoyed and walked to the door of the office, knocked on the door, and went in. As soon as he entered, he saw that teacher Ruan's first sentence was: "Teacher doesn't need to praise me, these are what I should do." Before he finished speaking, he saw all his extracurricular books placed on teacher Ruan's desk, feeling particularly embarrassed at the time.
"You're quite self-aware, what you should do is collect so many extracurricular books? And even more daringly put them directly on your own desk? I really underestimated you." Mr. Luan said, staring at Zhao Junyi.
In the classroom, Ou Yang and others were already laughing with their mouths closed. In fact, Zhou Feng had handed in Zhao Junyi's extracurricular book, but just handing it in was not enough to let the teacher know, and Zhao Junyi himself had to go to Teacher Zhao to show off in order to achieve the effect. To reduce suspicion, Ou Yang had to go and admit his mistake to Zhao Junyi first.
"This is faster than letting him tie his shoelaces, right?" Zhou Feng said with a smile to Ouyang in front of him. Ouyang still didn't understand why Zhou Feng and Zhao Junyi had a falling out, so he asked Zhou Feng, who didn't hide anything at all and said directly: "How can I put it? I think among classmates, there shouldn't be a relationship where you borrow money from someone or they buy something for you and then you owe them. I've lost count of how many things I've bought for him. Not only did he not thank me or return anything to me, but every time he does something wrong, he yells at me. We're all equal students, I'm not his younger brother. It's better to be with you guys and have fun than to follow him around and suffer." Ouyang finally understood the reason and didn't say much more.
The whole morning, Zhao Junyi didn't come back and stayed in the teacher's office. The second class was Chinese class, and after class, classmates surrounded Pan Teacher asking this and that. According to Pan Teacher, Zhao Junyi stood in the office without saying a word. Luan Teacher seemed even more resolute, actually raising the request for Zhao Junyi to transfer schools, saying he wasn't suitable for studying at this school. This was something Ouyang hadn't expected. On the other hand, Xiao Zhu really liked what Ouyang gave her and started reading it during math class.
In the afternoon, Zhao Junyi directly returned to the classroom, packed up his bag and walked out of the classroom without saying a word to anyone. When he passed by Ouyang's side, he also didn't say anything. Ouyang didn't know that this was the last time he would see Zhao Junyi. It wasn't until the afternoon that Ouyang found out that Luan teacher had repeatedly mentioned Zhao Junyi's grades and personality problems because of the extracurricular book incident, and then found his parents. Of course, Zhao Junyi didn't take it lying down, so he had a big argument with the teacher, saying "I don't even want to attend this school!" before directly returning to the classroom to grab his bag and head home.
That evening on the commute, Ouyang asked Wang Lin and Xu Xue Mei: "You guys think Zhao Junyi will really transfer schools?" Xu Xue Mei said surprisingly: "Really can't see that you're still worried about him? Him leaving is good for us, isn't it?" Wang Lin took over the conversation: "I know Ouyang too well, he must think that we designed the fuse for Zhao Junyi's school transfer. Since elementary school, he always thought everything was related to himself, thinking too much." Xu Xue Mei nodded and said: "Yeah, thinks too much." Ouyang listened to their conversation without expressing any opinion.
At night, I went home and told my mother about it. Feng Hongyan felt that it was no big deal, "If the teacher wants him to transfer schools, it's definitely not because of this one thing, you don't have to take all the blame on yourself."
Ouyang had just finished his homework and was about to go to bed when he found Mais sitting on the bed. He asked, "What's wrong? Didn't you finish your homework before I got back? You were sleeping while I was doing my homework, why are you up now?" Mais rubbed his head and said, "Qingming Festival is coming up this weekend, and grandma plans to burn incense for grandpa again. This time you'll go, right? Last New Year's she didn't call you." Ouyang thought for a moment and said, "Of course I'll go." Mais smiled and said, "Before we know it, we'll be moving into our new house soon. It would be great if grandpa could see such a big house too." The two brothers stopped talking, but then Ouyang suddenly remembered something and asked, "How's your studying going this semester? The mid-term exams are coming up in April, so maybe dad can attend the parent-teacher conference this time?" Mais indeed looked troubled when it came to studying and said, "It should be better than before, although not the best. But what about your math teacher, the one you always complain about? Hasn't he been replaced yet?" Ouyang nodded and said, "Our class representative said that if the math teacher isn't replaced before the mid-term exams, he'll do something. Since someone is taking the lead, we might as well follow along."
"What are you talking about? It's late, go to sleep!" A voice came from the bathroom next to the small house. The two children stopped talking and went to sleep separately.
So-called change occurs when an individual or group receives a threat or oppression, or is extremely incompatible with the environment, and then has the idea and action of changing the environment, which is called change.
