Chapter 101: Have You Ever Loved Me?

  "Are you so sure?" I smiled and said.

  I know Xu Long won't tell me exactly what he wants me to help him with right now, but I understand that whatever Xu Long wants me to do, it's definitely something I can accomplish.

  "Although I don't know what you want me to help you with," I looked at Xu Long meaningfully, "but I really want to know, is it worth it?"

  "You should be clearer than anyone about my current situation. Among the four major forces in the school, our force is almost the weakest, and the other three forces are all arch-enemies of ours." I looked at Xu Long with a serious expression. "You may not necessarily be able to help me get the position of head of No. 1 Middle School, and even if you do, it will come at a great cost."   "I'm asking you, who did it?" I said coldly, with a hint of anger.

  "My dad's fault!" Gao Sheng finally blurted out loudly.

  "Grass, he is not my dad!" Gao Sheng added angrily.

  After listening, the anger in my heart disappeared a bit. If it was someone else who hit him, I would definitely go and avenge Gao Sheng. But if the other party was Gao Sheng's father, then I'm afraid I couldn't help. After all, it's hard for an honest official to meddle in family affairs, let alone Gao Sheng's father, who is an official himself. If I were to beat him up, I'd probably be done for this lifetime.

  "Why did your dad hit you? Didn't you say that your dad never cared about you?" I asked curiously, looking at Gao Sheng.

  "What are you asking your dad for help with?" I asked Gaosheng, furrowing my brow, feeling that something was off. Gaosheng's father was a police officer, and it wasn't right that Gaosheng wanted to use the power in his father's hands.

  Gao Sheng wanted to speak but hesitated and finally didn't say anything.

  Since Gao Sheng didn't say anything, I didn't continue asking either, because I felt that no matter how I asked Gao Sheng, he wouldn't tell me anyway.

  "Don't stay alone and get depressed, go have a drink" I patted Gao Sheng's shoulder and said.

  "Just call Sun Yunyun and Cao Na." I nodded.

  We went out of school to find Sun Yunyun and Cao Na, not going to a restaurant, but instead went to Cao Na's dormitory.   "Are you an idiot? If we've loved, then we've loved. If not, then not. I just want one answer. Sun Yunyun's disappointed bitter smile "Maybe someday, we won't see each other again. I want an answer to make myself clear."

  I bit my teeth, unsure of how to respond to Sun Yunyun. I had loved, that was certain, because I had felt heartache and reluctance to let go. Only, this answer, I couldn't say.

  I quickened my pace and left Sun Yunyun behind, returning to the house.

  I gradually discovered that every time I drank a little wine or was alone with her, Sun Yunyun would always be very abnormal, to the point of being difficult to understand.
