Chapter Seven

  After Yu Cai took back Zhao Ye's cake in the evening, she asked Ding Si if he wanted to eat it. Ding Si said it was too late and didn't want to eat it. Yu Cai wasn't bothered either. She had already made plans with her parents that tomorrow her younger brother Yu Qian, who is in junior high school, would go into town to buy reference materials.   After getting off the merry-go-round, Yu Cai was tying her shoelaces and leaning sideways to talk to Yu Pei when that eerie voice pierced through her ears again.

  Yu Cai was already on the verge of tears, instructing Yu Xian to wait a little while. Yu Cai reluctantly approached those extremely eye-catching people. Xiao Bai Lian had already replaced her with a beautiful young girl by his side.   The two of them played everything in the playground, and Yucai even thickened her face to play another round of merry-go-round, only then did they return with excitement. I don't know if it was that girl who didn't feel well and left, but Yucai didn't see Mo Fei and his group again.

  After leaving the playground, Yu Cai took Yu Pian to the store where she had taken her that day. She helped Yu Pian order some hamburgers and chicken wings, and also ordered a stir-fry for herself. They found a seat by the window and sat down.

  As it was already past lunchtime, there weren't many people in the store. Yu Cai took out two boxes of yogurt from her backpack and handed one to Yu Yan, opening one herself, and began asking if Yu Yan wanted anything.

  Yu Qian shook her head, and Yu Cai started asking about their classmates again. Yu Cai had a very good relationship with several of Yu Qian's female classmates. The food arrived soon, and the siblings chatted while eating, sharing interesting stories from their respective classes, creating a warm atmosphere.

  She hesitated for a moment and then nodded slowly.
