Chapter 5 Weekend Supplement

  On Saturday, after Xia Meng finished her training and had just packed up her luggage without having time to change clothes, Li Han sent a text message saying he was waiting for her on the bridge at the school gate.

  Xia Meng walked out of the school gate with her backpack, and saw Li Han standing on the bridge. His tall figure and handsome face attracted whispers from passing classmates, "Isn't that Li Han from Class 3 of High School Year 1? Who is he waiting for?"

  Xia Meng sent a text message to Li Han: "You go ahead, I'll follow from the other side of the bridge." Absolutely brilliant, thought Li Han.

  After crossing the bridge, Xia Meng followed Li Han into a small alley, turned four corners, and came to a three-story independent villa. Xia Meng estimated that the building was already some years old, and the entire outer wall of the villa was tightly wrapped in green ivy.

  Xia Meng pushed open the big gate, and in the courtyard there was a tall orchid tree. Next to the tree was a well, and next to the well was planted a honeysuckle, its vines crawling up to the windowsill of the third floor.

  "Come on in, no one is following you!" Li Han beckoned to Xia Meng from inside the house. "This house was my grandma's, and my mom grew up here. My grandma passed away when I was in elementary school. Now this house only has me living in it."

  Xia Meng took a look around the house and found that it was all solid wood furniture, with books placed neatly in the cabinets. The room was clean and tidy.

  "Hey, you can't sit next to me in that wet outfit and do homework with me, right?" Li Han said, frowning at Xia Meng's jersey. "Don't you have a change of clothes in your backpack? You're all sweaty, go take a shower and change first."

  Li Han took Xia Meng to the bathroom on the second floor and closed the door before leaving. Xia Meng looked around the bathroom, which was fully equipped with toiletries.

  Li Han was busy in the kitchen downstairs, getting up early to cook a pot of black chicken soup, making a liangfen dessert and a loquat cool tea. The stir-fried dishes were placed on the table, Li Han thought for a moment, and packed all the food into Lock&Lock boxes. He couldn't let Xia Meng know that these things were made by himself, he had to maintain the image of "white egg" in order to have more opportunities to be alone with her.

  Li Han saw Xia Meng wearing a light pink floral mini skirt, her hair dripping wet and hanging down behind her back as she came downstairs, bringing with her a fresh and natural aura.

  "Girl, eat first, I bought takeout outside." Xia Meng looked at the table full of dishes, all in takeout containers.

  "If you can make so many delicious dishes, I will..."

  "Will you grant me just one wish?" Li Han hastily said.

  "Summer, you said it yourself! I just want you to fulfill one wish for me in the future!" Li Han happily asked Summer to make a promise.

  Starving Xia Meng nodded vigorously, opening her mouth wide to stuff it full. Originally very hungry and extremely starving, Xia Meng couldn't stop herself in front of delicious food!

  After lunch, Xia Meng came to Li Han's room to tutor him.

  This was Xia Meng's first time entering the boy's room, a large bed stood against the wall, a guitar leaned against a desk at the head of the bed, a violin hung on the wall, and three large bookshelves occupied one-third of the room, filled with books.

  "Didn't expect you to like reading so much?" Xia Meng looked at Li He with suspicion.

  Li Han shrugged his shoulders, "These books were all from my grandma and mom, nowhere to put them away, I've never even flipped through them!"

  For such remarks, Xia Meng is deeply convinced. For example, his mediocre grades and silly words and deeds, but strangely, in key exams, he can always pass smoothly, Li Han explained as good luck.

  Xia Meng patiently explained again, "White egg, do you understand?", Li Han looked embarrassed and lowered his head without speaking. "How can you be so stupid! You can't even understand such a simple question, how did you not realize your own abilities from childhood to adulthood!" Xia Meng scolded while waving her palm to slap Li Han's forehead, back, and chest.

  "Go through all the questions I've marked and write down your solutions to each one!" Xia Meng pushed the supplementary book in front of Li Han, saying fiercely.

  Li Han nodded and agreed, not daring to disobey. Xia Meng leaned against the table, watching Li Han calculate seriously, perhaps because she had eaten too much, Xia Meng couldn't resist the strong sleepiness and fell asleep on the table, Li Han smiled slyly with a sense of triumph.

  Li Han gazed intently at the adorable and beautiful little face that was fast asleep, with a rosy complexion, long eyelashes drooping down, and a straight nose with slightly parted pink lips. Li Han felt his whole body heat up, his heart racing non-stop, as he slowly leaned in closer, gently kissing Xia Meng's cherry-like mouth. Unbeknownst to him, he would often find himself sketching out their future plans during idle moments - when they would fall in love, get married, have children, and what efforts they should make at each stage. Everything was unfolding according to his imagination, under his control. But now, all he wanted to do was kiss her.

  His lips were still on hers, and before he could savor the moment, Xia Meng turned over, mumbling: "Delicious." This silly girl was dreaming of eating something delicious. Li Han licked his lips, gazing deeply at Xia Meng, "Meng, you will be mine sooner or later, I'll wait patiently for you to grow up, and our dreams will all come true, we'll never be apart in this lifetime."

  When Xia Meng woke up, it was already 2 pm. On the desk, there was a note and a set of keys: "Girl, I have something to attend to outside, I brought back some takeout for you, put it in the fridge, heat it up with the microwave when you eat, then head back to school. Bring this house key with you, next time you come over for tutoring, just let yourself in. Tomorrow at 2 pm, meet me at the barbecue place behind the school, call if anything comes up."

  Xia Meng clutched her keys and returned to school after eating her fill.

  Xia Meng saw Zhao Yi Nu carrying a large shopping bag getting out of a luxurious SUV at the corner near the school gate.

  Xia Meng had just opened his mouth to greet her, but saw Zhao Yi Nuo hastily running towards the school as if she didn't want to be discovered.

  Xia Meng entered the dormitory and found Yu Meng and Wang Qi both lying on their beds reading books.

  Not knowing kung fu, Zhao Yino carried a large bag of snacks into the dormitory. "Yino, which supermarket did you go to at school? Why did it take half a day to come back?" Wang Qi asked Yino.

  "I went to the library to read new magazines and newspapers, I completely forgot about time! Yumeng, here are the shampoo and sanitary napkins you wanted." Yanuo's response made Xiaomeng swallow back the question she was just about to ask.

  Zhao Yino quietly put the big shopping bag into the closet.
