Brightsmile worries about her

  Afternoon sunny.

  Cai Wei pulled open the living room floor-to-ceiling window curtains, allowing sunlight to pour in unscrupulously.

  She stayed at home alone again today, after finishing all the household chores, she planned to go to the supermarket to buy some ingredients for dinner and continue to ask about her biological parents' whereabouts.

  She had such terrible thoughts before.

  Why didn't her biological parents come find her?

  Is it because they couldn't find her that they gave up, or did they never want to look for her in the first place? Maybe they're no longer in this world...

  Mom said to her before she died:

  "Dad and Mom's last hope is that their precious baby can return to her biological parents with a bright smile."

  With this hope, Cang Wei made an effort to shake off those terrible thoughts.

  She walked out of the police station with a hint of sadness, wondering if 11 years ago there was a couple in New York, USA who lost their child.

  The one who received her was that kind-hearted policewoman from last time, the policewoman told her that she should actually go back to the police station in her hometown to ask.

  Actually, Cang Wei had asked before, and the result was the same as today.

  The police's answer was - no.

  With a sorrowful expression and her head hung low, she wandered aimlessly on the main street.

  After her father and mother passed away, Sister Mary from the orphanage came to pick her up. She insisted on going to China to find her biological parents. Sister Mary had no choice but to agree to her request.

  But if her biological parents can't be found, she'll have to return to an orphanage in New York City and wait for another set of adoptive parents.
