A strange maple forest

  "Hmph!", Xu Shi-yi ignored Xia Mingfeng. She thought she should give Xia Mingfeng a warning, otherwise they wouldn't know her strength.

  As she picked up the leaf, Xu Shi Yi was about to throw it away, but found that the leaf was stuck tightly between her index and middle fingers, no matter how hard she tried to shake it off. Just as Xu Shi Yi was getting anxious, a thick, dark red liquid flowed down along the veins of the leaf.

  Xu Shi Yi screamed and looked at the crimson liquid that kept flowing out of the leaf, dyeing her clothes red. She tried to run away but found herself unable to move an inch.

  Lowering my head to take a look, I saw that a pair of hands were tightly grasping my ankles. Those hands were so thin that only skin and bones remained, but they were rotting away, with thick layers of white maggots crawling on the wounds exposing white bones and red flesh...
