Its just this small place

Chapter 6 is just this big point place

After dinner, we were about to leave. Pengpeng and Grandpa told a lie, saying they wanted to go out and have some fun. Grandpa said what's the point of going out late at night, it's better to stay home and play cards or watch TV.

People in the village go to bed very early, and even if they don't sleep, they just stay at home. There is rarely such a rich nightlife as in the city. The three of us packed our bags, Pongpang held the wind, and we quietly ran out of the yard. Although the road lights were on, there were still corners that couldn't be illuminated. With such large travel bags on our backs, we would definitely be suspected by people. So we tried to walk in secluded places as much as possible. Occasionally, a few barks from dogs encouraged us.

Before long, we arrived at this legendary house. From the outside, it looked very ordinary, no different from other houses in the village, except that it had been uninhabited for a long time and looked very old. The gate was not even locked, and we pushed it open to enter. Suddenly I felt like I was in another world. Turning my head to look at the two of them, they also had some surprised expressions.

"Can you feel it? As soon as we came in, it's like stepping into another world!" I said, expressing my thoughts.

"Yes, it's as if we've suddenly gone from the great plains into the Arctic Ocean," said the coffin.

"Good, since we have this feeling, then we've found the right place. This should be what science calls a magnetic field, which can interfere with people's brain waves," said Pengpeng.

It seems that the three of them had reached a consensus and continued to move forward. After entering, there was a screen door, which was blocking the way, and turning around revealed the main courtyard. At first glance, it was just the main house and two houses in the north and south, without any special features. It's also possible that we didn't understand Feng Shui and couldn't see anything out of the ordinary. The three people split up to search each room for a secret passage or something similar. Unfortunately, there were no beast heads, door rings, or murals like those described in books. Of course, this house was only built a few decades ago, so it wouldn't have those things anyway.

The three of them gathered in the yard again, discussing and exploring together:

"How can it smell so bad?" I asked.

"My uncle drove his sheep here last time, maybe they were left there at that time."

"It's really smelly, I'd better stop eating hot pot lamb for a while when I get back." said the coffin, covering his mouth.

"Have you found anything suspicious?" I asked again.

"Nothing, have you felt anything? Has your previous life been haunting you in your dreams?"

"There is, but I just saw a big hole and nothing else."

"Cave, that's right! I remember there used to be a well here before, but after the tap water was installed, it was abandoned. Could there be some mystery about it?"

"Do you still remember the place?" asked the coffin.

Peng Peng started circling around the yard, reminiscing. I realized that it was getting late, the stars in the sky were extremely bright, and the surroundings were quiet, with no more intermittent voices coming from outside the house. I felt a chill run down my spine, trying not to think about ghosts, but they kept popping up in my mind. The coffin seemed to have sensed something too, moving closer to me. Peng Peng didn't seem to notice, still searching for that well. I turned around to say something to the coffin to break the silence, but it had vanished into thin air. I was shocked speechless, not feeling it move at all, and in just a split second, there was only wall behind me - could it have passed through the wall?

I quickly called Pong, but he seemed not to have heard me and continued to spin around. I shone my flashlight on his face, only to see that he had his eyes tightly closed, with a painful expression. I softly called out to him several times, but he still didn't respond. I knew something was wrong, so I ran over and slapped him hard. Suddenly, he opened his eyes and saw me, giving a huge fright.

"What's wrong with you? You keep spinning around in circles and your eyes are closed."

"No? I haven't moved at all, I just spaced out for a moment earlier, and you came over and patted me."

"Daydreaming, have you been walking in circles for over a dozen times? Aren't your legs tired?"

"You're right, it does sound a bit sour. Where's the coffin?"

"You finally found out, just as you were watching him spin around, he suddenly disappeared without a sound."

"It's impossible! In such a small place, how could he suddenly disappear?"
