Chapter Thirty-One: Clues (Part One)
Ao Yuan didn't even know that Xia Yu Fei and the other person had chatted about something in the study for the entire afternoon, he was bored and stayed alone in the living room, unable to focus on anything.
He didn't know what his feelings for Xia Yu Fei were, whether it was love, admiration or something else, he had no clue at all.
Emotions, it turns out, were never a concern for him. Before being sealed away by Gui Jun in the Snake Mound, he coldly watched as people around him went through life's joys and sorrows, birth, aging, illness, death, love, parting, resentment, and longing, all because of one word: emotions.
At this point, Ao Yuan suddenly remembered the girl who was buried in time. She once sat on the east coast and asked him: "Ao Yuan, do you know what is eternal damnation? When you truly fall in love with someone, it's when you personally let yourself fall into eternal damnation."
He really wanted to talk to her in this situation, and to thoroughly discuss every single thing that had happened since he met Xiaoyan, so that he could understand what kind of feelings he had for her.
He slumped on the sofa, exhausted, and in the end did not see her put on her wedding dress, nor did he personally send her off to get married, nor did he personally hand over this girl he had raised as his own daughter to the man she deeply loved.
"Ah Shuang." Ao Yuan said this name with a sigh-like tone and collapsed onto the sofa.
He felt for the first time that in this world, apart from Xiaoyanfei, he had no other connection.
Just as he was slumped in despair, questioning the meaning of life, a paper crane mysteriously appeared beside him. When Ao Yuan discovered it, it even flapped its wings twice in an eerie manner.
This is almost an entry-level technique, but looking at it struggling to flap its wings, its eyes suddenly turned gloomy. He had never revealed that he had already unsealed and come out...
He picked up the paper crane, and the small thing turned into a note with a few lines of writing as soon as his fingers touched it. It was just these few short lines that he stared at for a long time.
When he heard the study door open, Ao Yuan casually put the note into his pocket and turned to meet Xia Yuanchi's complicated gaze.
What exactly happened this afternoon?
Is it just me being down or is the whole world wrong?
Is it me who crossed over or is it the entire world that has crossed over?
The above is the supplement to God's entanglement in his mind.
But Xia Yu's straightforward and innocent gaze was entangled with Ao Yuan, whose identity would make people suspect he had a mental illness if spoken out loud. And what if, just what if his own sister really got together with him? Wouldn't that be considered bestiality or some other heavy-handed setup?
Can't help but say that Xia Yuanchi may have the potential to be a god of luck, who knows. Years later, every time he thinks about this matter, he regrets not being able to take advantage of it earlier and pounds his chest in frustration. Moreover, Ao Yuan's seemingly profound and mysterious smile on the side, which is actually a mixture of good and bad fortune, makes him want to punch this guy. The whole scene is filled with the beauty of spring, with peach blossoms blooming everywhere.
But his sister always elbowed outwards at times like these, which couldn't help but make him feel sad and he went to seek comfort and solace from his wife with tears in his eyes.
Xia Yuanyu has his own house in Beijing, and after dinner, he drove Xia Yu Fei's car back to his home alone. Xia Yu Fei, unlike usual, didn't immediately clean up the dishes, but instead sat there and opened his mouth: "I say, Ao Yuan, you have something to tell me, why do you still avoid my brother?"
