Chapter 6 Blue Moon

  Chapter Six Blue Moon

  "Where is Brother Hei Xian?"

Ling Sheng arrived at Hei Xian's residence, but didn't see the master, only a few outer sect disciples sitting in the room, each with a solemn expression. Ling Sheng saw them and couldn't help but ask.

Several people looked at each other, stood up and walked out of the house, completely ignoring the young man.

This notorious and utterly despicable young scoundrel makes one feel that to say another word to him would be like sullying oneself, and no amount of washing could ever clean it off.

Ling Sheng's face slightly sank, he stretched out his hand to block the way and said in a low voice: "Where did Master go?"

  "Get out!"

That man shouted angrily, and the others also looked displeased.

"I'd like to see how capable you are," Ling Sheng said coldly.

  "Beat him!"

The man who was blocked let out a loud shout and threw a punch.

The rest of the people shouted and rushed forward in a swarm.

Ling Sheng was taken aback and lost his smile, he reached out and grabbed the person's collar, giving it a forceful push.

  Boom!

This man retreated repeatedly, and unexpectedly collided with several people behind him. Four or five people fell to the ground together, wailing incessantly.

These guys have been outer disciples of the Qingming Xianshan for over a decade, and they haven't even reached the threshold of cultivating their Qi. They can only be considered ordinary people. Even an average martial artist from the secular world would be enough to sweep them away.

"How dare you beat up our fellow disciple! I will report this to the inner disciples and have you punished for injuring a fellow disciple!" one of them angrily shouted.

Ling Sheng was about to leave Xian Shan, and naturally he didn't fear punishment. Upon hearing this, his heart became extremely angry, and with one kick, he shouted: "Speak quickly, where is my master?"

  "I... I..."

"Are you going to say it or not?"

He kicked seven or eight times in a row. Although Ling Sheng didn't use his full strength, the force was still enough to make people feel pain to their bones.

He clenched his teeth for a long time before finally saying, "The masters went to Wumu Town ten days ago to buy things and were supposed to return yesterday, but they still haven't been seen. There's a rumor that says..."

"What's going on?" Ling Sheng asked.

"It's said that someone ambushed the disciples of Kongming Xianmen, Hei Xi and his fellow brothers. I'm afraid it's likely to be a disaster."

"What?" Ling Sheng's whole body shook, as if a surge of hot air was churning inside him.

"This matter has already been reported to the elder, and probably in two more days, there will be inner door disciples going to Wumu Town to investigate."

"Two more days?" Ling Sheng sneered, "It's really not treating outer sect disciples as humans. Two more days and the corpses will be gone. If it were inner sect disciples in danger, I'm afraid even the elders would rush over immediately, without delaying for a moment."

The rest of them nodded silently in agreement; they were also outer door disciples and deeply agreed with this.

  "Wumutown."

Ling Sheng reached out and touched the small flying knife at his waist, took a deep breath, turned around and left, rushing all the way down the mountain.

Kongming Xianshan was after all a famous sacred place of immortals in the world. The mountain was high and vast, and although outer sect disciples only lived outside the mountain, they had to rush along the way, taking an hour before finally arriving at the entrance of the mountain.

  "Ling... Brother Ling..."

Suddenly, a timid voice came from behind.

Ling Sheng slowed down his footsteps and turned around to look, only to see the Blue Moon girl he had rescued. He furrowed his brow and asked, "What's wrong?"

Lan Yue lowered her head, her slender hand pulling at her clothes, and said in a low voice: "I just wanted to thank you."

"No need to thank me, consider it as payment," Ling Sheng said.

"But Master has already taken it back." Blue Moon said apologetically.

"You know how things started and ended, so there's no need to say more," said Ling Sheng.

Lan Yue bit her lip and didn't respond.

Ling Shixiong returned to the white spherical object, which had actually been swapped out and was not the original white gold sphere. Lan Yue knew this in her heart. However, in Lan Yue's eyes, one white gold sphere was not enough to repay the favor, let alone that Master had also taken back a white metal ball.

Ling Sheng glanced around, realizing that there was no one nearby, only a few outer sect disciples standing on the stone steps hundreds of feet away. He slightly relaxed and said in a low voice: "I swapped that thing, although it cost me a precious refined steel outer pellet, but since you're covering for me, we'll just call it even. You should remember, you don't owe me, no need to thank me. And I, even more so, don't owe you."

Lan Yue opened her eyes, with a hint of grievance in them. A layer of crystal clear tears quickly filled her eye sockets.

"We'll meet again someday, no, you and I don't need to meet again." Ling Sheng's head suddenly ached, he put down the sentence and immediately went down the mountain.

Lan Yue gazed at his rapidly retreating back, as if eager to leave her side, not willing to stay for a moment. She felt extremely wronged in her heart and began to sob quietly.

Three or four outer sect disciples exchanged a glance and began discussing in hushed tones.

"This kid is really a wooden stake. When the girl came to him, he didn't even want to say another word and turned around to leave."

"If it were up to me, I'd guarantee that with just a few witty and humorous jokes, this girl would be smiling from ear to ear."

"No, how does this kid look like that Ling Sheng who was bullied by women and fell into the Devil's Cliff?"

"Ling Sheng is a shame to our outer sect disciples, extremely lustful and when facing women, it's like a starving ghost. Otherwise, with his identity as an empty and bright mountain sect disciple, he can become a powerful official in the secular world, what beauty doesn't he have? In my opinion, it's just that he is too hungry and thirsty, which led him to bully and humiliate women."

"If he was really Ling Sheng, how could he be so indifferent to such a beautiful woman and turn away without hesitation?"

"You don't understand this? Loosen the reins to catch."

"It seems that this kid has finally come around and is no longer being stubbornly arrogant, but instead is now pretending to be weak in order to gain an advantage?"

After the most mutual discussion, these few outer door disciples actually admired Ling Sheng to the point of being completely convinced. As for Ling Sheng's rapid progress in this aspect, they were simply amazed beyond measure.

Suddenly, a white-clothed woman with an icy demeanor walked over from afar and comforted the sobbing little girl in blue.

Almost immediately after speaking, the little girl stopped crying and burst out laughing.

Just as a few people were marveling "the woman's methods are not necessarily inferior to those of men", the white-clad woman slightly raised her hand, and a gentle breeze sprang up.

A gentle breeze blows, very soft and mild.

Then, the woman in white took the hand of the woman in blue and floated lightly into the air, heading towards the mountain.

"Fairy... has the fairy descended to the mortal world?"

"This, this is a fairy maiden in the door. Even if it's not an elder, it must be a deeply powerful inner disciple."

"My goodness, isn't that little girl in blue an inner disciple?"

"Why didn't I go up and talk to her earlier? It would have been worth being accused of dereliction of duty."

"What is Ling Sheng thinking? If he can win over this young lady, his future will be bright and prosperous. But how did this kid hurt the young lady's heart?"

  Clap Clap Clap!!!!!

Suddenly, several people cried out in unison, and two red marks appeared on each of their faces.

The gentle breeze brought by the white-clothed woman's raised hand not only took away the little girl in blue, but also shook the air, echoing hundreds of feet away, giving a small lesson to several people.

It was clear that a few people's discussion had been overheard by the woman in white, so she gave them a slight warning.

Several outer sect disciples looked at each other in dismay, their eyes filled with fear.
