Fuxi also knew that he had obtained the fruit of the Human Emperor's Way, becoming the common lord of humanity was predetermined by Heaven's Way, so he did not refuse. Thereupon, outside the hundred-mile radius of the Huaxu tribe, he built a city and named it Chen, which people at that time called Chen Du.

  When the construction of Chen was completed, all the vassals from various tribes came to pay homage. Fuxi ordered someone to build a high platform in Chen and announced that he would ascend to the throne thirty days later. This matter spread throughout the major and minor tribes, and after thirty days, Chen was crowded with people from nearby and afar, all coming to catch a glimpse of the common lord of humanity!

  On the high platform, there are three holy statues standing, namely Taishang Laojun, Niangniang and Hongyuan. In front of the three holy statues, there is an incense table, on which six domestic animals are being sacrificed. The fragrance of incense wafts upwards, and people standing below the high platform dare not make loud noises, lest they profane the saints!

  After a stick of incense, the sound of a bell rang out. Everyone saw Fuxi coming down surrounded by a group of officials. Fuxi did not immediately walk up to the high platform, but instead stood waiting. The crowd was puzzled and didn't dare ask questions, so they waited with him.

  After a while, when the crowd was getting impatient, two seven-colored auspicious clouds floated in from afar. On top of the clouds stood Youchao and Suiren. The people below recognized the two and hurriedly knelt down on the ground, calling out "ancestors" repeatedly. Fuxi also rushed to welcome them.

  Two people descended from the auspicious cloud, waved their hands and released a divine energy to lift up the crowd, came to Fuxi's face and congratulated: "Congratulations to fellow Taoist for ascending to the throne today!" Only because now Fuxi has returned to his origin, they dare not call the brother of the Holy Mother again.

  Fuxi heard the words and bowed first, saying: "Fuxi is here to thank the two ancestors for their teachings over the years!" Although he had returned to his roots and found himself, Huaxia and Suiren were after all the ancestors of the human race. He was now the co-master of the human race, so he couldn't be arrogant and lose his manners!

  At this time, a group of fairy maidens descended from the thirty-third heaven, who were the very fairy maidens that had previously been sent to the mortal world by the Jade Emperor's decree to present gifts to Huaxu. The leading fairy maiden stepped forward with a gentle lotus step and came before Fuxi, made a curtsy, and said: "Your humble servant pays homage to the Holy Ruler! Your humble servant has come to offer congratulations on the Holy Ruler's ascension to the throne by order of the Jade Emperor."

  Fuxi bowed and said: "Thank you, immortal. I will remember the friendship between us, fellow practitioners of the Way of the Vast Heaven!"

  The fairy then bowed again and ordered the fairies behind her to present the gifts one by one, after which she retreated to the side and waited for the start of Fuxi's ascension ceremony.

  At this time, only the colorful phoenix fairy beside Nüwa came riding on a swan, saluting Fuxi and saying: "The colorful phoenix pays respects to her predecessor, I have come here at the order of the goddess to offer congratulations!"

  Fuxi nodded and said: "Thank you, immortal. Fuxi will definitely visit the palace of the Queen Mother in the future to pay his respects!"

  Fuxi saw that people had already arrived, and was about to rush up to the high platform, but then he saw another person falling from the sky above. Fuxi took a look and it was Xuantu Dafashi, the only disciple of Taishang Laojun. Xuantu Dafashi came before Fuxi, bowed his head and said: "Xuantu has seen Senior!"

  Fu Xi hastily returned the courtesy: "I dare not! I have shown respect! But I don't know where you come from?"

  Xuantu Dharma Master smiled and said: "I have come under the orders of our master."

  Fuxi asked in doubt: "I don't know what instructions the Holy One of the Great Clarity has?"

  Xuantu Dafashi took out an object from his sleeve and said to Fuxi, "This is the Human Emperor's Seal, the Kuangtong Seal. To ascend to the throne, one must have the Kuangtong Seal. I came here specifically to deliver this seal to you on the orders of our master."

  Fuxi was overjoyed when he heard this and took the Qingtong Seal, saying: "Thanks to my Daoist friend for helping me thank the Holy Emperor of Supreme Clarity!"

  The Grandmaster of Xuandu had not yet spoken, when suddenly a loud and clear laughter was heard from the eastern horizon, far away but getting closer. The crowd was amazed and looked up to see a seven-colored auspicious cloud coming from the east, which arrived in front of them in an instant. When they saw the person standing on top of the cloud, they all knelt down and bowed: "Greetings, Holy Master!" It turned out that the newcomer was Kong Xuan himself.

  Fu Xi hurriedly led a group of people to pay their respects to Kong Xuan. Kong Xuan returned the courtesy one by one with the crowd, and smiled: "Today, fellow Taoist, you have taken office, it's truly a joyous occasion!" The two had previously studied Taoism together in the Purple Mist Palace, so they addressed each other as fellow Taoists.

  Fuxi heard the words and smiled: "Master Sheng is here today, it's really Fuxi's good fortune. Also, please trouble Master Sheng to thank Holy Father for me on behalf of the gift of the Luo Book!"

  Kong Xuan said: "The teacher has a saying, if the Taoist friend really wants to thank him, then he should govern the human clan well, and the teacher will also be at peace!"

  Fuxi's face turned serious, and he said: "Please trouble Daoist friend to convey Fuxi's words to the Holy Father, saying that Fuxi will definitely govern the human clan well and will not disappoint his expectations!"

  Kong Xuan nodded and said: "Very well, the time has come, fellow Taoist, take your seat!"

  Under the escort of a group of high-ranking officials, Fuxi ascended to the high platform. He first lit incense and worshipped the three sacred statues, then turned around and raised the Kunlun Seal above his head with his right hand, facing the crowd below and saying: "Now that I, Fuxi, have taken office, I will surely bring blessings to the human race in the future. Heaven and earth are my witnesses!" As soon as he finished speaking, five nine-clawed divine dragons flew out from the Kunlun Seal, dancing and fluttering around him, emitting a series of long whistles. A majestic aura burst forth from Fuxi's body, with golden light shining behind him, illuminating the entire sky. The crowd was filled with reverence, and they all bowed down to Fuxi on the high platform, shouting: "Your Majesty's sacred virtue! Your Majesty's sacred virtue! Your Majesty's sacred virtue!" The voices rose wave after wave, spreading throughout the city of Chen and echoing far into the distance.

  Humanity, from today on, will march towards a glorious future!

  After the enthronement ceremony ended, all the people who came to congratulate also bid farewell and left. After Fuxi sent away the crowd, he began his great governance.

  Fuxi ascended to the throne, and was the first emperor since the beginning of humanity. He resided in Chen, and established officials to inspect the four directions on his behalf, touring the world to supervise the governance of various regions, distinguishing between good and evil; he also established many ministers, each taking charge of their respective positions, assisting him in governing the world.

  Fuxi was in power, made pottery drums, se sixty-four strings and other musical instruments, made music, brought music to the human tribe, helped people cultivate their bodies and minds, and returned to their innocence.

  Also known as Li Fa, it is called Fu Xi's calendar method. It records the years, months and days with the four seasons changing alternately, so people began to know the years, months, and seasonal changes of spring, summer, autumn and winter.

  Humanity flourished under Fuxi's rule.

  One day, Fuxi said to his officials: "My people have learned from various teachings and many of our tribesmen have cultivated immortality. However, since the great war between witches and demons, Mount Buzhou has collapsed, cutting off the passage between heaven and earth. Without great magical powers, it is difficult to travel back and forth between the two realms. Our newly immortalized people are also having difficulty ascending to heaven. Do you have any solutions?"

  The many officials below looked at each other in dismay, unable to think of a solution. After all, although they also cultivated the Tao, they had not yet attained immortality and were still mortal beings; how could they possibly come up with a plan?

  At this moment, someone came to report that the Tian Ting Taibai Jinxing was waiting for Fuxi's summons outside the city gate. Fuxi frowned and let people lead Taibai Jinxing into the city, coming to the council hall.

  Tai Bai Jin Xing made a courtesy: "Little immortal has seen the Human Emperor!"

  Fuxi nodded and said: "Taibai Jinxing doesn't need to be so polite! What business does the Jade Emperor have for you to come here?"

  Tai Bai Jin Xing respectfully replied: "In response to the Emperor's words, the Jade Emperor has spoken. Within the South Sea, between the black water and the green water, there is a tree called Jian Mu. If you take it, you can travel back and forth between heaven and earth."

  Fuxi heard the words and pinched his fingers to calculate, after a moment he happily said: "It's indeed so! I should thank my friend Haotian for his intention." Just as he was about to send someone to cut down the Jianmu tree, he heard that the Dragon King of the South Sea had come to visit. Fuxi hastily asked someone to invite Aoqin in.

  Ao Qin bowed after Fuxi and said: "The little dragon has come to deliver the Xuanqing Imperial Edict, bringing the Jianmu wood for the Human Emperor!" After finishing speaking, he took out a small piece of wood about three inches long from his sleeve. Fuxi looked at it and saw that its color was cyan, with a flowing cyan light on top, and a vital energy spreading across its surface, which was indeed the Jianmu wood.

  Fuxi was overjoyed and took the Jianmu from Aoqin, bowing his hands in gratitude. "Fuxi has received the Dragon King's gift!" He then bowed towards Fangzhang Island in the East Sea, before flying out of Chendu, heading east for a thousand miles, searching for an open space. With the Jianmu in hand, he threw it into the air and shouted to the heavens: "From now on, Fuxi has built a path connecting the mortal world and the realm of the immortals! All immortals can come and go as they please between heaven and earth, may the heavenly way witness this!" As soon as he finished speaking, he bit his tongue and spat out a mouthful of blood onto the Jianmu.

  Only to see the building wood obtained the human emperor's essence and blood, instantly changing its length and width, with a width of over 100 meters and a height that reached the sky. It stood steadily between heaven and earth. The Heavenly Way was moved, and bestowed virtue, half of which fell upon the building wood. After a rolling cloud of smoke had passed, only to see that the building wood had transformed into a green transparent passageway, faintly visible, imperceptible to ordinary people, but perceptible to those who had attained the Dao. The remaining half was divided into three parts, with Fuxi contributing the most and obtaining the largest share, the Dragon King of the South Sea coming in second, and the Jade Emperor getting the least, but he was also very happy, as the passageway between the mortal world and the heavenly realm had been established, and from now on, there would be more and more heavenly beings in the heavenly court, which was what he cared about.

  From then on, cultivators between heaven and earth can travel freely through the heavenly and mundane realms!

  It is: Fuxi ascended to the throne of humanity, connecting the sacred and mundane paths between heaven and earth!
