Laozi referred to himself as Taishang Laojun, also known as Taishang Daode Tianzun. Yuan Shi opened up the Clear and Ethereal Heaven Yu Qing realm, inside there was a palace called Miro Palace. Yuan Shi was known as Yu Qing Yuan Shi Tianzun. Tong Tian then opened up the Jade Heaven Shang Qing realm, inside there was an island called Jin Ao Island. On the island, there was a palace called Bi You Palace. Tong Tian was known as Shang Qing Lingbao Tianzun. Jie Yin opened up the Western Paradise of Ultimate Bliss, while Zhunti opened up the Ling Tai Fang Cun Shan Xie Yue San Xing Dong. From then on, all the saints descended to the mortal world to gather disciples and spread their teachings, educating and transforming countless beings.

  On Mount Kunlun, the four Qing had met and exchanged greetings. Hong Xuan congratulated the three of them, saying: "Congratulations to the three masters for attaining the Mixed Yuan Holy Man, from now on you will not die or be destroyed, and will last for tens of thousands of kalpas!"

  Tongtian burst out laughing and said: "If it weren't for my junior brother's reminder, we wouldn't have known when we could attain enlightenment! We should thank our junior brother!"

  Yuanshi Tianzun and Taishang Laojun also nodded in agreement!

  Hong Xuan shook his head and said, "What are you talking about, Third Brother? We came from the same origin, and if I can help my younger brother in any way, how can I refuse? You and I are brothers, and in the future, don't ever mention thanks again!"

  Tongtian replied, "Indeed, indeed, but brother has fallen into a worldly pattern." He continued, "We are the transformations of Pangu's primordial spirit. Now that we three have established our teachings and proven the Way, why don't you, master and disciple, also establish a teaching? Then we can jointly assist Heaven in educating all living beings."

  Hong Xuan couldn't help but secretly admire Tong Tian's straightforwardness, but he never thought that if he himself were to establish a sect, the faces of Lao Jun and Yuan Shi would become even more difficult to look at. After all, in this vast universe, one less person means one less share of the pie; although they are all from the same origin, Tong Tian's magnanimity doesn't necessarily mean that Lao Jun and Yuan Shi have it too!

  He gave Yuanshi Tianzun and Lao Jun a faint glance, and Hongyuan said calmly: "Third brother is joking!   Tongtian nodded, Yuanshi clearly let out a sigh of relief, Laojun closed his eyes, lost in thought. Hongyuan secretly sneered, everyone says that Yuanshi is the best at plotting, but I think Laojun is actually a master of hiding his true intentions, we'll need to be careful in the future, don't fall into his trap.

  In any case, Hong Xuan has made a big profit. This time he enlightened Nüwa and the three senior brothers to achieve their goals, but it also allowed the four of them to form a good relationship with him, which can be exchanged for some benefits in the future. Although he hasn't become a saint yet, he doesn't feel disappointed either.

  At this time, Lao Jun said: "Now that the three saints have emerged from Kunlun Mountain, when the fourth master brother attains the Tao, there will be four saints. In this way, one mountain and four saints is actually suffering from heavenly jealousy, the Heavenly Way does not allow it. We have already opened up a Daoist temple in the primordial chaos, but in the mortal world, we must each seek out our own Daoist temples!"

  The three nodded in agreement, but the atmosphere suddenly fell silent. After all, this Kunlun Mountain was also a rare treasure mountain in the Desolate World, and no one wanted to give it up easily.

  Hong Xuan broke the atmosphere, he smiled slightly and said: "Since the beginning of heaven and earth, we have been living on Mount Kunlun for countless years. I'm naturally restless and can't stay in one place for long. This Mount Kunlun is a bit dull, I want to find another cave mansion, so I'll leave this Mount Kunlun to my brother!"

  The three of them understood that Hongyuan did not want to compete with them, so they all felt a bit embarrassed. Tongtian said: "Since the Fourth Master does not want to be on Mount Kunlun, I will also find another cave mansion to use as a Daoist platform."

  Only Yuan Shi and Lao Jun were left, before Yuan Shi could speak, Lao Jun opened his mouth and said: "Forget it! I'll just find another place to cultivate, as I said, this Kunlun Mountain is still left for the two of you!"

  Yuán Shǐ also didn't pretend, and bowed to the three people saying: "Thank you so much, Big Brother, Third Brother, Fourth Brother!"

  Since the outcome had already been decided, everyone bid each other farewell and left.

  Above the high sky, Tongtian asked Hongyuan who was sitting on the back of Mo Qi Lin: "I don't know where my younger brother wants to go to find a place to practice?"

  Hong Xuan smiled and said, "But I want to go to the East Sea to find a fairy island to settle down. After all, I am the Holy Father of the human race, and when the human race was first born, I placed them not far from the East Sea. It is only natural that I should find a fairy mountain on the East Sea to take care of the human race from time to time!"

  Tongtian nodded and said, "Junior brother's words are reasonable. Nowadays, the major mountains and caves on the Hongyuan continent all have their owners. Why don't I also go to the East Sea to find a place of cultivation? At that time, we can be neighbors." Although there were many sacred mountains and blessed lands on the Hongyuan continent, Tongtian was now a saint, so ordinary blessed lands were no longer worthy of his attention. As for those sacred mountains that matched the identity of a saint, they already had owners. Those people in his eyes were nothing but ants, but it was impossible for a dignified saint to take things from ants. Therefore, there were few cultivators in the four seas of Hongyuan, and the number of blessed islands was not inferior to that of the Hongyuan continent. Finding a blessed island as a place of cultivation was the most suitable choice!

  Two people traveled for less than half a day and arrived at the East Sea. Looking far into the distance, all that could be seen was: endless and boundless, with waves surging and tides rushing, clouds steaming and misty vapors rising; occasionally sea creatures darted about, sometimes the cries of seagulls and swallows could be heard, and often islands shrouded in mist appeared; as the golden sun set in the west, its rays illuminated the horizon, shining brightly over the sea, like a golden highway stretching to the sky, and also like a boundless red fire burning across the waves.

  They searched the East Sea, and there were many immortal islands scattered within, but Tongtian and Hongyuan were still not very satisfied. So they continued to head east. After more than half a month, the two suddenly discovered that in front of them, thousands of miles away, was a vast expanse of chaos. The two were shocked and quickly calculated with their fingers, but couldn't figure out anything. Even the heavenly machine was unclear. Tongtian furrowed his brow and said: "This is strange! I am now a saint, and all living things in the three realms are known to me as soon as they move. But now, I can't even calculate what this place is."

  Hong Xuan calmly said: "I didn't think that in the world there would be such a wonderful place, even saints can't calculate it. Since we've come here, let's take a look at what it is."

  Tongtian Dao nodded and said "good", then he and Hongyuan drove the cloud together towards that chaotic place.

  As they approached, all that could be seen was a vast expanse of chaotic energy surrounding them, with no signs of dispersal. Hong Xuan exclaimed, "What pure and refined chaotic energy! Since the dawn of time, although there has been chaotic energy within the chaos, it's already become much weaker than before. Such refined chaotic energy is rarely seen, I didn't expect to find so much of it here. Can you calculate the location of this place, Master?"

  Just as the sky was opening its eyes, it exclaimed with great joy: "It's a blessing! It turns out that when Pangu opened up the sky and earth, there were still three pieces of chaotic fragments left behind, which fell into the Eastern Sea. After countless epochs, they have become a blessed land for immortals, known as the Three Isles of Penglai, Fangzhang, and Yingzhou. Because they are transformed from chaotic fragments, their heavenly mechanism is not apparent, and even saints cannot calculate them. If I weren't physically present here today, I wouldn't be able to figure it out either."

  Hong Xuan heard this and was overjoyed, saying: "It's really a blessed place for immortals! Since we've found it, it can be seen that the heavens are favoring us, and it's only right that we should obtain it!"

  Tongtian nodded and said, "This island is the Penglai Fairy Island. A thousand miles away from here are Fangzhang and Yingzhou. Younger brother, why don't you let me establish a Daoist temple on this island? You can choose one of the other two islands instead?"

  Hong Xuan nodded in agreement: "Elder brother's words are reasonable, but since you and I each have an island, what about the remaining one?"

  Tongtian smiled and said, "Younger brother must know that all things are predetermined by heaven. Today, you and I can find such a treasure land is already the blessing of the heavenly way, but it's also not to be enjoyed to the fullest, we should leave one island for those who have fate!"

  Hongyuan nodded and said: "Elder brother's words are reasonable. In that case, I'll go find the abbot first, and leave Yingzhou for those who have a predestined relationship."

  Tongtian nodded and said: "Junior brother, you go first!"

  The two of them bid each other farewell. Hong Xuan flew off in a certain direction. After traveling for thousands of miles, he found another island transformed from a piece of Chaos Fragment, which was Fang Zhang. Hong Xuan immediately took out the Chaos Pearl and threw it at the Chaos energy, shouting: "Collect!" Suddenly, the Chaos energy rushed into the Chaos Pearl like flowing water. After a day's effort, the true face of Fang Zhang Xian Zhou, which had been shrouded by the Chaos energy, was finally revealed.

  Misty clouds scatter colors, the sun and moon shake off light. Thousands of ancient cypresses, with rain half-empty, are verdant and luxuriant; countless bamboo shoots, with mist, form a valley of deep green color. Flying waterfalls splash down, just like the Milky Way falling from the ninth heaven. Rocky cliffs stand tall, with lush green moss; hanging walls stretch high, with long emerald-green moss. Dark apes and white deer appear and disappear at random, golden lions and jade elephants roam freely.

  Hong Xuan nodded in satisfaction, and with a flick of his sleeve, countless spiritual beasts and immortal birds descended upon the island. It turned out that these were the very same creatures that had listened to him lecture on the Dao on Mount Kunlun, which he had brought here.

  Hongyuan said to them: "From today on, you will cultivate in this square inch immortal island. You can find your own cave, but you must not fight or quarrel with each other. Do you understand?"

  A crowd of living beings all knelt down and worshipped, then immediately dispersed in all directions to search for the cave mansion.

  Hong Xuan didn't bother with them, stretched out his hand and pointed to the center of the island. Suddenly, a bamboo house rose into the air, on its inner wall hung a scroll with only one word "Dao" written on it, that's all!

  From then on, Hongyuan settled down in Fangzhang Xian Island, either visiting the immortal mountains, or seeking the way and asking friends, or harmonizing dragons and tigers, grasping Kan and Dui, or lecturing on the Tao to give life to spirits, carefree and at ease!

  But it is said that the Taishang Laojun also established a Taoist temple on Mount Xiyue, and accepted a disciple from among humans, naming him Xuandu Zi, also known as Xuandu Dafashi. Every day, he would lecture his disciples on the doctrine of clarity and inaction. Meanwhile, the Yuanshi Tianzun had established a Taoist temple on Mount Kunlun, naming it the Jade Void Palace, and had accepted twelve inner disciples, who were precisely those:

  Every day, it is about elucidating the Heavenly Way and following the Jade Pure Great Way in harmony with Heaven.

  The Master of Tongtian started another Jin'ao Island on Penglai Island, where he lectured on the Upper Clear Great Tao of capturing a line to generate life force every day. Regardless of their background or cultivation, all could listen to his lectures. At that time, many practitioners from the Primordial Chaos rushed to Penglai Island to hear his teachings, and it was said that ten thousand immortals came to pay homage. He also accepted some inner disciples, including: Duobao, Zhao Gongming, Sanxiao (Yunxiao, Qiongxiao, Bixiao), Guiling Shengmu, Jinxing Shengmu, and other exceptionally talented disciples.

  Those two from the Western Regions were unable to accept any good disciples due to the barrenness of their region, and for countless years they had only accepted a few disciples such as Maitreya and Vairocana.
