Chapter 1: The Seven-Colored Dragon Boat, Azure Pearl...
"The husband...husband Jin Huo Gan...Gan Hong, does not go out of the Five Elements. The generation of all things, due to Yang and knotting, due to Yin and birth."
A slender young man in a green robe, walking on the mountain road from Tianyu Peak to Tianhao Peak, silently reciting to himself, limping along, holding a large bamboo basket, was indeed Ceng Hang delivering food for Bang Luo North.
If someone on Mount Shu concentrates his mind to listen to the content he recites, he will know that what he is currently reciting is still some ordinary Buddhist scriptures and principles for beginners in Mount Shu.
The scriptures are generally profound and difficult to read. If one can recite them loudly and fluently, they tend to be easier to remember than silent recitation. However, since Jian Hang stuttered, even if he remembered a sentence, he would often forget the next one that he had originally memorized when he got stuck on it. Moreover, nowadays, he is often assigned to do miscellaneous chores, so his time for cultivation is much less than that of an average disciple. As a result, the time spent memorizing scriptures naturally takes longer.
In the eyes of so many fellow disciples, Lin Hang was not only a waste, but also introverted and unsociable. However, if one were to notice the basket in this young man's hand now, they would discover that it wasn't just covered with thick cloth on the outside, but even the inside of the basket was heavily wrapped in layers of fabric.
Doing so is obviously for better keeping warm of dishes.
It was just because of Luo Bei's one sentence of concern that he didn't look at him with a different gaze, this introverted young man silently repaid him in this way.
"Lin Hang Shixiong, you're here?"
With a creak, Lin Hang had just pushed open the courtyard door when Luo Bei's clear voice came from inside.
"Lu... Lu Bei... Younger Martial Brother..."
"Come on in." Luo Bei quickly opened the door and invited him inside.
Although it was just a simple action, Lin Hang already felt a warmth. However... one was a genius who was highly valued by the Shu Mountains, and the other was a waste that had not even surpassed a three-month novice in two years of cultivation... The distance between the two people was really too great.
Lian Hang quietly placed the steaming hot dishes on Luo Bei's table.
"You... you..." Lin Hang originally wanted to say to Luo Bei was that Zuo Zhe Shixiong had a special arrangement, if Luo Bei felt that the food was not suitable for his taste or if there was something he liked to eat, he could mention it. Because Shu Shan, like those who cultivate to the level of Xiao Xiang, basically rarely eats, so the ordinary meals in Shu Shan's cafeteria are probably just a few kinds. However, what made Lin Hang stare blankly was that before he even finished speaking, Luo Bei had already eaten a bowl of rice as if swept away by a storm and was already serving himself a second bowl.
"Today... today's meal is very... delicious?" Looking at Luo Bei quickly finishing his second bowl of rice, Lin Hang finally managed to say a complete sentence.
"Yes." Luo Bei nodded with a smile, "Venerable Cang, you haven't eaten yet, have you? I'll finish eating quickly, and you can head back to eat too."
"No... no hurry... I'm not hungry."
"Actually, next time you can eat first and then come. However... Brother Lin Hang, I don't know if you can help me with something?"
"What...what?"
"These two days I seem to have a big appetite, and at night I always get hungry easily... Can you help me bring more food for dinner?"
"This...this is fine, of course."
……。
"Thank you, Teacher Lin Hang. By the way, take this, it can be used when you're tired from coming and going."
"This..." Xian Hang took one glance and saw that what Luo Bei handed over to him was the Divine Movement Symbol that Zi Xuangou had given to Luo Bei that day. This Divine Movement Symbol was nothing to Shu Mountain, but to Xian Hang... it was extremely heavy.
Because this is not only a few talismans that can save him a lot of effort and time, but also a heavy... friendship.
"You... is there anything else you want? You can tell me."
Lian Hang silently accepted the few talismans handed over by Luo Bei, cleaned up the bowl and chopsticks that Luo Bei had finished eating with, and when he exited the room, he said this sentence in its entirety.
Lin Hang himself did not realize that this was the most fluent sentence he had spoken in the past two years.
As he walked on the mountain path that had already turned dark, Lin Hang felt for the first time no shame in serving others as a fellow disciple of Shu Shan.
Because Luo Bei treats him as a friend!
"Luobei Shidi's appetite, how did it become so big. He ate three bowls of rice and still felt hungry at night. Tomorrow I'll bring more dishes and help him bring some pastries that he can eat at night." In the cold mountain wind, this thin and weak young man only had such a warm thought in his heart.
"Master Xiao said that according to the speed at which I read, recognize characters and recite scriptures, in about ten more days, I can go to Tianyu Peak with other fellow disciples to cultivate together."
Staring at the disappearing figure of Jian Hang in the dark mountains, Luo Bei couldn't help but think with some concern, "I wonder if Master and the others will suspect anything...with my current appetite being so large."
At that time, Luo Bei was eagerly cultivating the Wan Nian Tian Chang Sheng Jing. When the yuanqi in his body circulated to the tenth cycle, the meridians in his body seemed to be violently torn apart, causing an intense pain unlike ordinary physical pain, which shot straight into his mind, making him unable to bear it, his scalp bursting with sweat, and his primordial spirit trembling with fear.
But before practicing, Luo Bei already knew from Guan Ding that if he couldn't hold on to his divine consciousness at this time, the original energy in the meridians would lose control all of a sudden. The scattered original energy was like a burst dam, rampaging wildly inside the body, and even if he didn't die, he would be severely injured.
External injuries are easy to heal, but this internal damage is the most dangerous. Cultivation is difficult, and to a large extent, it's also because of this point.
So even if the yuanqi in the meridians passes through every minute, the meridian that flows through is a severe pain like a knife cut and needle stab. Luo Bei still tightly guards his mind, waiting for this yuanqi to flow through the whole body meridian and return to the sea of consciousness, and after leaving the state of inner vision and meditation without self, Luo Bei only realized that he had been cultivating for less than half an hour, but he was already sweating all over, as if he had just been pulled out of the water. Moreover, there is still a pain like cutting in the whole body meridian, and the body is still trembling slightly, and the physical strength is almost exhausted.
"It stands to reason that when guiding the spiritual energy into the body, it should nourish the body and make one feel comfortable and light. How could it cause damage to the meridians and lead to rupture? Is it because I've been practicing incorrectly?" After practicing Mahakala's method and reading the chapter on cultivating the body and nurturing energy in Mount Shu a few days ago, Luobei had already understood some principles, but he felt uncertain and suspected that he was practicing wrongly.
However, for the next two or three days, each time I practiced according to the method of the Tian Xiang Zi Long Sheng Jing, when I circulated the qi through ten cycles, my entire body's meridians would feel as if they were being cut apart with pain. Sometimes this pain would not subside even after a whole night, like undergoing severe torture.
After cultivating for two or three days in a row, Luo Bei felt that the spiritual energy he had introduced into his body was only a faint wisp, and it didn't seem to have changed much from before. It wasn't like when he cultivated the Mahakala Mantra, where he could clearly feel the spiritual energy condensing and taking shape. However, over these past few days, he did feel that his strength had increased slightly, and his appetite had also grown. He used to be full after eating two bowls of rice, but now he could finish three bowls and even eat all the vegetables. At night, he would still feel hungry until midnight.
In fact, the founder of the Luofu Sect, although he was a brilliant and extraordinary talent, created this absurd "Tian Changsheng Jing", but compared to some people who cultivated Zen and attained enlightenment, penetrated the mysteries of heaven and earth, and created unparalleled skills, they generally, although they had gained insight into the truth and created skills, did not cultivate to the highest peak.
Cultivation is like traveling a road, it's already clear what's at the end of the road, but still need to take it one step at a time.
Luofu's founder of this sect also deeply felt the nine deaths and one life in cultivating this kung fu, so several generations of disciples were unable to cultivate it and their bodies and spirits were destroyed, which is why he created the Empty Birth and Destruction Sea Crystal Technique.
Yuán Tiān Yī's Kōng Shēng Miè Hǎi Liú Lì Jué is actually the ancestral master of several generations of outstanding talents from Luó Fú, extracted from the Wàng Niàn Tiān Cháng Shēng Jīng. It is a relatively safe and simple cultivation method.
Just like the difference between the Great Capital Heaven Merit Method and the Small Capital Heaven Merit Method of Qingcheng.
For over a dozen generations, until the master who built the grand hall in the mountains, Luo Fu had a place to pass on teachings and principles, accumulating more and more techniques and methods. It wasn't until Yuan Tianyi's generation that he would come to know all things in general, without anything unknown. However, by the time of the master who built the grand hall, no one had cultivated the Wild Thought Heaven Longevity Sutra for generations.
Even if it is the Kongshengmie Hai Luli Jue, it is not something that ordinary people can cultivate. Among the ancestors of more than a decade, there are also those who did not pass on the Kongshengmie Hai Luli Jue according to their disciples' qualifications.
So the original Tianyi's transmission to Luobei, although he roughly knew that cultivating the Wild Sky Longevity Sutra would require enduring boundless suffering and various demonic realms, and undergoing nine great calamities of life and death, but the specific details, Luobei still couldn't find in his mind.
In fact, both the Wan Nian Tian Sheng Jing and the Kong Sheng Mie Hai Liu Li Jue are methods for achieving physical immortality. During the initial stages of practice, after guiding the qi into the body, they are all used to refine the body!
The nine out of ten refined essences are used to temper the meridians, which is like refining steel in a furnace, smelting and hammering non-stop. The meridians are tempered, merged, and strengthened by the essence, but they can't avoid being damaged, and the process of recovery is extremely painful. The only remaining one refined essence has to be used to repair the damaged parts within the meridians. In this way, there is naturally very little essence left in the sea of consciousness.
Only when the cultivation of the False Thought Heaven Longevity Sutra has reached the third realm, and the internal and external meridians in the body have been tempered to a certain extent, will this cultivation naturally evolve into Fivefold Refining and Fivefold Nourishing.
At that time, the remaining spiritual energy will repair itself. After a considerable amount remains, it will be collected and then flow within the body, allowing the practitioner to release the secret method.
Any physical practice that achieves spiritual enlightenment, after reaching the final stage of cultivating an indestructible golden body, the entire body becomes a fusion of heavenly and earthly spiritual energy. Even if it were to be severed from its connection with heaven and earth, the primordial energy contained within the body would still be far greater than that of any other cultivator who has not achieved this state. Therefore, Yu Tianyi's original heavenly garment, even after being severed from its connection with heaven and earth by Huang Wugong's divine power, and having been struck by the Three Corpse Demolishing Arrow, was still able to release a powerful technique that even Jiu Ba could not withstand.
So after cultivating to the end, the entire body is actually the strongest treasure in the world. Any spell that consumes a huge amount of magic can be easily performed, but this cultivation realm is obviously much slower than other Taoist methods that retain nine out of ten breaths.
Luobei didn't understand these subtle principles, but he never doubted Yuantianyi's words. He only felt that his appetite had suddenly increased, which should be due to the fact that every night he was practicing, resisting the pain and exhaustion, requiring a lot of physical strength, but he didn't know that the whole body's meridian tempering and repair also required a large amount of food nutrients to supplement, and in the profuse sweat every night, there was also the practice of tempering the flesh and expelling impurities from the meridians.
"Kan one, Li two, from Yin to Yang. Huo one, Shui two, from Yang to Yin. Shui two, Huo one...." Luo Bei unfolded the scriptures on the table again. Nowadays, Luo Bei spent his days reading books and reciting scriptures seriously from dawn till dusk. At night when no one was around, he would cultivate the Luofu Juefa that Yuan Tianyi had taught him with a clear mind, and ponder the Longevity Scripture of Heaven.
