Introduction
Qingcheng is the most beautiful place under heaven.
The Taoist famous mountain Qingcheng, since ancient times, has countless strange people and warriors coming in and out of it. The so-called "hidden dragons and snakes in the grass" is exactly this case. Countless myths and legends, countless legendary stories, like a thick layer of cloud mist, have given Qingcheng a mysterious veil.
On the ninth day of March, it is suitable for sacrifice and worship, but it is taboo to go out. If you go out, there will be a disaster with bloodshed.
At dawn, groups of Taoist priests in green robes, each holding three long incense sticks, moved swiftly and silently along the stone path between the mountains, heading towards a towering, cloud-shrouded peak with a smooth, mirror-like stone wall.
The mountain road is steep and slippery with dew, but these Taoist priests are as swift as galloping horses, their robes fluttering behind them. Some of them occasionally leap into the air, soaring over a hundred meters, their clothes fluttering in the morning breeze, their movements as light as if they were immortals descending to earth.
In the Qingcheng Mountain range, mountains, peaks, and large palaces, temples, towers, and pavilions all have Daoists constantly coming and going, gathering in front of this unnamed stone wall.
It was still some time before sunrise, nearly three thousand Taoists had quietly gathered in front of the stone wall, standing neatly according to the nine palaces. Among them, a large group of small Taoist priests held colorful flags and ritual objects, carrying incense burners and walking around the Nine Palaces Array. The incense smoke shot straight up into the air, swirling upwards with a misty aura, transforming into a cloud of colors covering the heads of the gathered Taoists.
Among the many Taoists in the front, under that stone wall, a group of people wearing golden-edged purple Taoist robes, with silver thread embroidered eight trigrams on their chest and back, and the edges of their sleeves had cloud and mist patterns, hundred grass flower patterns, the Taoists were resplendent from head to toe, holding dusters in their hands, expressionless and standing solemnly there.
The crowd waited quietly for a while, when a red light suddenly burst forth in the east, and the hazy red light instantly tore open the sky and spread across all directions. Many Taoists knelt down together, facing the stone wall with reverence to perform the three kneels and nine knocks ceremony.
Thousands of Taoists recited the incantation simultaneously, and the "hum hum hum" sound of the incantation intertwined with each other, transforming into a fine wave that sent shivers down one's spine and echoed far away. Gradually, a strange power rose from the incantation, and a brilliant seven-colored aurora burst forth from the top of the Taoists' heads, shining onto the smooth and glossy stone wall.
Those Taoists wearing golden-edged purple robes simultaneously kowtowed to the ground, murmuring and reciting a prayer.
This continued for half a time, and finally a white light shot out from the top of the stone wall. Soon the entire stone wall emitted a clear white light.
Misty clouds rose into the sky, and countless wisps of cloud smoke swirled around the stone walls. Several figures with golden light wrapped around their bodies vaguely appeared in the misty clouds. The figures became clearer and clearer, until finally three men and two women, all wearing white Taoist robes, with their faces obscured by golden light, appeared before everyone.
The woman in the middle lowered her head and glanced at the many Taoist priests kneeling on the stone wall, and suddenly had a scroll in her hand, which she casually threw out.
A flash of white light on the stone wall, and a scroll made of purple jade as the axis and golden silk slowly floated out, just falling into the hands of the purple-robed old Taoist who led many Taoists to worship. The woman who threw out the scroll said a few words in a soft voice, turned around and left with several companions by her side.
Several old Taoists in purple robes suddenly shouted loudly: "Ancestor's mercy, mercy!"
The sound of "Dong Dong" kept ringing out, and all the Taoists heavily kowtowed to the five men and women, knocking their foreheads against the rocky ground with a loud noise.
The woman who threw out the scroll coldly shouted, and instantly all the Taoists stiffened and knelt down to the ground, no longer daring to make any more movements or sounds.
It was another woman beside her who laughed in a low voice and threw out several more objects.
The stone wall's radiance dimmed, and the five Taoists vanished without a trace.
Several things that shone with a strange light slowly floated down from the air, including a sword, a pearl, a small tripod, five talismans and nine medicine bottles.
Sword, pearl, and small tripod are tiny in size, like children's toys, but each one is dazzling with light, surrounded by mist and smoke, obviously extraordinary objects.
The five talismans were even more surrounded by golden light, with a purple aura that was oppressive and overwhelming. The pressure emanating from the talismans came in wave after wave, causing the nearby Taoist priests to stumble and lose their footing, forcing them to retreat backward.
Nine medicine bottles were densely packed with various talismans and seals. The old Taoist who had just received the scroll opened one of the medicine bottles in front of many Taoists, and a refreshing medicinal fragrance suddenly burst out. Thousands of Taoists in front of the stone wall simultaneously took a deep breath, feeling their seven orifices clear, their meridians as if washed with clean water, and their entire body refreshed.
Just smelling a hint of fragrance is better than three months of hard work and bitter practice by these Taoist priests.
The purple-robed old Daoists hastily stuffed the medicine bottles tightly and sealed them firmly. Just the fragrance emitted by the Dan medicine had such a magical effect, it can be imagined what kind of treasure the Dan medicine in the bottle was. Several purple-robed old Daoists gathered together and whispered for a while, then separately picked up the sword, pearl, tripod, talisman, and medicine bottles, and unfolded the scroll in front of all the Daoists.
The first half of the scroll is a scripture for cultivating one's vital energy and spirit, "Tai Xu Qi Jing".
The latter half of the scroll made the purple-robed old Daoists' faces lose color, and they cried out in alarm one after another.
About a quarter of an hour later, countless Taoists swarmed out from inside Qingcheng Mountain.
Qingcheng Mountain unleashed its hidden potential in the secular world, stirring up an invisible giant wave.
