Ninety-four received only monkey son

  Ninety-four, received a monkey son

Returned to Xun Dao Mountain, a sense of closeness arose, this was still his home. He felt the lively atmosphere in the mountains and Xun Daozi stepped into his own cave.

Relaxingly brewing a pot of tea in the bamboo pavilion, lazily lying on the recliner. Back home, just enjoy the tranquility of home.

Later, Xun Daozi brought the three-eyed Snow Lion Beast and the Jade Qilin to find a suitable place to plant the spiritual grasses and medicines they had collected along the way. Especially that old tea tree called 'Big Red Robe' by Xun Daozi was carefully planted in a place with abundant spiritual energy.

The following life is simple, every day practicing boxing, practicing sword, cultivating divine power, summarizing experience; studying, studying equipment refining, alchemy, array method, experiencing, experiencing the mark of Tao.

In the blink of an eye, a hundred years have passed. After Xun Daozi's cultivation, although he has the company of the three-eyed snow lion and the jade qilin, he still feels a bit desolate. Originally, Xun Dao Mountain had Su Xin in it, and every time Xun Daozi returned to Xun Dao Mountain, he felt a warm feeling like home. Xun Daozi also enjoyed that subtle warmth. But this time when he came back home, Su Xin was following Shibo Laozi to cultivate, and suddenly Xun Dao Mountain became cold and desolate. The cave mansion of Xun Dao Mountain seemed to lack vitality without anyone to take care of it.

This hundred-year solitary cultivation, however, has moved the Seeking Dao child to have an epiphany about having two young children manage the Seeking Dao mountain cave mansion, but the Seeking Dao child is somewhat hesitant about enlightening the young children.

Why? Xun Daozi could have easily enlightened the two children at this point in his cultivation, but these enlightened children would find it difficult to cultivate to a high level, having exhausted their potential. Xun Daozi was somewhat reluctant to cut off the children's path of cultivation and hesitated in his heart. Not seeing Laozi, Yuanshi, or Tongtian enlightening children during their cultivation on Mount Kunlun, they also had this consideration, until they attained the Tao and became a saint, Yuanshi enlightened a spiritual crane as a child, also because after Yuanshi attained the Tao, using his cultivation power to enlighten a few children would not exhaust the children's potential for cultivation, allowing them to cultivate like ordinary people.

After hesitating, Xun Daozi extinguished the idea of transforming Tongzi and instead considered taking in one or two disciples. If he could find two disciples with good character and moral integrity, his lineage would have a successor and the cave would have someone to take care of it, so it wouldn't be so desolate. Of course, taking in disciples also requires fate; it's not something that can be done just because one wants to. Xun Daozi could only wait slowly for the opportunity.

After staying in Xun Dao Mountain for 200 years, Xun Daozi missed Kunlun Mountain and his master, Reng Deng and the other fellow disciples' life of cultivation together. He tidied up the cave, brought some tea leaves, rode on a jade qilin, led the three-eyed snow lion beast and left Xun Dao Mountain to head towards Shou Yang Mountain.

Su Xin followed Shibo Laozi to practice, it has been thousands of years since he was last seen, and his recent situation is unknown. This time when he went out, Daozi decided to make a detour and first go to Shibo Laozi's dojo to take a look at Su Xin before returning to Kunlun Mountain.

They arrived at Mount Shouyang without any trouble.

Just arrived at the mountain gate, a woman in snow-white clothes stood quietly outside the mountain gate, her big eyes slightly happy, and the corners of her mouth lightly raised into a small arc. A pair of beautiful hands gently twisted the silk ribbon on her chest.

Xun Daozi dismounted the Jade Qilin and walked to the front of the elegant woman in white, his eyes filled with silent warmth. He gazed at the pure and beautiful face before him, the faint tenderness on her face touching the strings of Xun Daozi's heart.

Without thinking, Xun Daozi stretched out a hand and gently grasped one of Su Xin's hands, softly asking: "Is it okay?"

Her hands were trembling slightly as she held onto Xun Daozi, but she didn't pull back. Instead, she lowered her head, and a faint blush rose to her cheeks, like the delicate petals of a peach blossom. When Xun Daozi asked how she was doing, she responded with a soft "Mm-hmm", her voice barely above a whisper.

Halfway through, Su Xin suddenly pulled his hand back and said with his head down: "The master is waiting for you!" He turned around and walked back.

Xun Daozi smiled and shook his head, instructing the three-eyed snow lion beast and the jade qilin to go find the halberd dragon beast and the green cow first, then followed Su Xin's back as he walked away.

Entering the Eight Scenic Palace, Su Xin directly brought Xun Daozi into the Dan room.

In the Danfang, there was a large eight-trigram furnace in the center, with two small boys fanning it with fans. Laozi sat on a cloud platform beside it, accompanied by a Taoist who looked simple and unadorned, with the demeanor of an immortal. Xun Daozi guessed that he must be Laozi's disciple: Xuandu Dashi.

Xun Daozi stepped forward and bowed before Laozi, saying: "Disciple pays respects to Master Uncle, wishing Master Uncle a long and sacred life!"

The old man nodded with a smile and said, "Get up!"

Xun Daozi got up and stood aside.

Laozi smiled slightly and said, "The day before yesterday, your master came here and said you were traveling. Now it seems that this trip has been quite rewarding. The realm of the Great Luo Scattered Immortals is extremely stable, and what's even more precious is that you've already found the direction of the Great Luo True Immortal Realm. Not bad!"

Xun Daozi respectfully said, "Thank you, Master, for your praise. I've brought some new tea for you to try!" He then took out a few green bamboo tubes and handed them over to Su Xin by his side.

Laozi said: "Since it's like this, let Shibo have a taste!"

Go and make tea with a clear heart. Daozi met the Daoist standing beside Laozi again and exchanged greetings, and it was indeed Master Xuandu. Afterwards, he told Laozi about his experiences in Honghuang, including the story of how he had rescued Red Cloud Patriarch along the way.

Laozi pondered and calculated for a moment before speaking: "Hongyun has also escaped, and you have formed a good karma. However, the 'Hongyuan Purple Qi' has disappeared without a trace. The Honghuang cultivators don't know that this 'Hongyuan Purple Qi' is not the root of enlightenment, but rather an increase in karma!"

Then, Zengzi asked Laozi about some questions of self-cultivation, and Laozi pointed them out one by one.

Su Xin brought in the tea and presented it to Lao Zi, who tasted it and said: "This tea has a unique flavor, rich and fragrant when entering the mouth, smooth and refreshing when passing through the throat. Although it's slightly bitter at first, it becomes refreshing and sweet afterwards. It's different from the Ling tea of before. Not bad!"

Xun Daozi said from the side: "As long as Master likes it, that's all that matters!"

The old man smiled slightly and said: "You and Su Xin can go now, don't need to stay here, go!"

Xun Daozi hastily bid farewell to Laozi with a bow, and Su Xin's face also turned red as she followed suit.

The two left Laozi's Danfang, strolling on Shouyang Mountain, searching for a place to sit down. Zǐ took out the ginseng fruit brought from Zhēn Yuánzǐ and gently placed it in Sùxīn's hand, smiling at her inquiring eyes.

Su Xin's eyebrows opened, and the corners of her mouth curved into a beautiful arc as she gazed at the ginseng fruit in her hand. Her heart had long been sweetened. Su Xin naturally knew about this ginseng fruit; it seemed like there were thousands of words in her heart, but at this moment, they didn't need to be spoken out loud. A single glance, a single smile was enough to understand, their hearts beating as one.

Affection is as gentle as water, as strong as wine, flowing in each other's hearts. A moment of gaze has become eternal possession. Sitting face to face, who cares about the clouds rising and falling; silently speechless, already the earth is old and the sky is desolate.

Two days together is better than a thousand or ten thousand years apart, with a wave of the hand, I bid farewell to Shouyang Mountain.

Leaving Mount Shouyang, Xuanzang sat on the back of the Jade Qilin, without driving the clouds, and walked slowly on the vast earth.

Ignoring all the disputes encountered along the way, following interests to explore the mystery, searching for treasures, but always advancing in the direction of Kunlun Mountain.

One day, walking to a mountain, the fruit trees in the mountains are lush, the scenery is not bad, strolling through the mountains, various fruits that appear from time to time are tempting. Xun Daozi also picked two to taste, but also had a different flavor.

The mountain road turned, a group of macaques frolicked among the trees. Seeing someone coming, they all stared with curious eyes at Xun Daozi. Even the three-eyed snow lion and the jade qilin following behind Xun Daozi did not cause these macaques to appear flustered. Xun Daozi was also secretly marveling in his heart.

After turning over another rock, a relatively flat grassland appeared in front of me, with several rocks in the middle. Many macaques were squatting on these rocks. These macaques on the rocks were different from those among the trees. They were much larger and each had leaves or animal skins wrapped around their waists. It seemed that they too had gained spiritual intelligence.

In the monkey group, one of them seemed to be the leader, leading two strange beasts to come, and immediately stood up like a human, with a hemp garment wrapped around its body, and a rattan belt tied around its waist. Standing on the rock, it looked at Xun Daozi for a moment, then jumped down from the rock, quickly ran to Xun Daozi's face, and bowed down.

Xun Daozi was taken aback: How did this monkey come to pay his respects in front of me? He didn't reveal any expression, and instead observed the monkey's intentions.

The gibbon knelt down and kept kowtowing.

Xun Daozi stretched out his hand and stopped the monkey from knocking its head, saying: "Why are you so reverent to me?"

The gibbon lifted its head, its face excited, and said: "I beg of you, Master, to accept me as your disciple!"

"Zi Dao asked: 'Why do you want me as your master?'"

The gibbon said: "Since Master Dao can get two heterodox beasts to follow him, he must be a wise man and can definitely be my teacher!"

Xun Daozi didn't think that this monkey would take himself as his master, or was it because of the three-eyed snow lion and the jade qilin. He asked again: "Why should I accept you?"

The monkey knocked his head on the ground again and again, shouting: "I beg the Taoist priest to accept me! I have a heart that yearns for the Tao, but there is no way to achieve it. Please take me in and let me follow you, serve my teacher, even as a child servant!" As he spoke, his head continued to knock against the ground with a loud thud.

Xun Daozi muttered to himself: This monkey is indeed quite spiritual, I won't let my first disciple be a monkey, will I? Let me ask him first.

"You get up and speak!" Xun Daozi said.

The monkey stopped knocking its head but remained kneeling on the ground, only lifting its head.

"Who are you and what is your name?"

The monkey replied respectfully: "I don't know who I am either. Since birth, I have been alone, without parents or a name."

Xun Daozi thought for a moment: Could it be that this is a naturally born and raised spiritual monkey, just like the Monkey King Sun Wukong in "Journey to the West"?

As soon as he thought of this, Xun Daozi noticed that this monkey was different after all. Its fur was golden yellow, and although it had a hairy face with a thunderous mouth, its facial features also had some human-like appearance, which was not quite the same as a monkey's face; Looking back, however, he noticed that the ears of this monkey were different from those of ordinary monkeys, with three small ear-like protrusions on each ear.

Xun Daozi's mind was refreshed: Could it be that the six-eared macaque among the four monkeys in the mortal world? This monkey is naturally clever, and Journey to the West says that the six-eared macaque is good at listening to sounds, can discern reason, knows the past and present, and all things are clear. He's a guy with extremely high innate talent.

Thinking of this, Xun Daozi looked at the langur in front of him and calculated with his hands in his sleeves. With this calculation, the air machine pulled, and the langur in front of him was indeed a six-eared langur, and he had some fate with himself.

Xun Daozi thought for a moment, then said to the six-eared macaque kneeling on the ground: "You can follow me as a nominal disciple first, and after passing the test later, I will formally accept you as my disciple. Since you have no name, I will give you one, called Liu Ling. I am from the Kunlun Mountain Yuanshi Tianzun sect, and I am Xun Daozi. Get up and follow me to Kunlun Mountain."

The six-eared macaque knocked its head nine times, saying: "Thank you, Master, for giving me a name. I finally have a name now. I am Liu Ling! Thank you, Master, thank you, Master!"
