Eighty-Three, Three Pure Ones

  On Mount Kunlun, the old master who had just come out of seclusion, Yuanshi, said to Tongtian and Daoren, "Your Master and your Shibo, Shishu will go to Hongyuan for a walk. If you have any questions, speak up, and let me explain them to you."

  "Disciple asks: 'I am just unable to break through that one line, what should I do?'"

  Yuanshi smiled slightly and said, "The Taiyi realm to the Daluo realm is like a heavenly moat, it's not easy to break through. You've only been in this realm for tens of thousands of years, which is nothing special. Relax your mind, focus on cultivation, and you will eventually pass this stage. Don't you see that many cultivators in Honghuang have spent tens of millions, hundreds of millions, or even billions of years stuck in this realm? Why must you be anxious and lose the nature of cultivation? After I leave with your shifu and shishu, you can either cultivate in the cave or go out to explore Honghuang. In short, at this time, don't force yourself too much, just let things happen naturally."

  "Thank you, Master, for your teachings! I will remember!"

  Then Laozi also instructed Su Xin for a while, and the three of them summoned their mounts and headed straight to Honghuang.

  After Laozi and the three others left, Su Xin suddenly said to Xun Daozi that she wanted to go back to Mount Xundao to take a look. This time they had been out for nearly 20,000 years, and she didn't know how her family was doing.

  Xun Daozi listened to Su Xin's words and suddenly thought of his hometown in Xun Dao Mountain. It has been nearly 20,000 years since he left, and this cultivation period is really a good mix. If it were an ordinary person, these 20,000 years would be unknown how many times they rose and fell. But for the Hong Huang cultivator, several closed doors, several tours, unknowingly passed. "In the mountains, there is no Jiazi, cold years do not know."

  Xun Daozi and Su Xin rode on a three-eyed snow lion beast and a halberd dragon beast, taking the jade qilin to Xun Dao Mountain.

  The three of them entered the desolate wilderness, but they didn't walk together as they used to. Instead, each chose a direction and traveled alone. Laozi went southeast, Yuanshi southwest, and Tongtian went east.

  This time, the three of us traveled to the Desolate Expanse mainly to personally investigate the Human Tribe. The three of us had a strong interest in the Human Tribe due to our repeated speculations about it, but after several attempts at joint calculations yielded no results, we grew even more concerned about the Human Tribe. After closing up for thousands of years to refine the "Pre-Heavenly One Qi" and successfully driving out the Three Corpses, we made the final preparations for proving the Dao. We then set out to find the opportunity to prove the Dao in the Desolate Expanse, and our trip to the Human Tribe was an important part of this journey.

  Three people entered the human tribe, observing and thinking. Laozi and Yuanshi directly lived in a human tribe for hundreds of years before continuing their journey. Laozi finally arrived at Mount Xiyang, seemingly enlightened, and closed his door to meditate. Yuanshi traveled extensively, stopping multiple times among humans.

  Traveling east on the Avenue of Heaven, I stopped briefly to explore several human tribes along the way before entering the Eastern Sea. There, I encountered a large island that resembled a golden turtle in shape, and my heart was filled with joy. I settled down on the island, devoting myself to contemplating all that I had gained from my journey.

  Thousands of years later, Tongtian returned from the East China Sea to Honghuang, and walked all the way back to Mount Kunlun; Laozi also left Shouyang Mountain and wandered around, returning to Kunlun. Yuanshi traveled through Honghuang, sometimes stopping to ponder, and walked along the way, and came to Xundao Mountain in a leisurely manner.

  Yuanshi arrived at Xundao Mountain and Xundaozi, who was in the cave mansion of Xundao Mountain, received Yuanshi's message. He brought Su Xin to wait outside the mountain's grand formation early on. Seeing Yuanshi descend from the clouds like a falling cloud head, he hurried over to pay his respects, with Su Xin following suit and also paying her respects.

  Yuanshi descended with four unlikes and sought the Daoist, Su Xin. Together they went to the Bamboo Pavilion and sat down. Su Xin hastily brewed tea and presented various spiritual fruits.

  Xun Daozi sat down under Yuan Shi's left hand, feeling that Yuan Shi was obviously different from before. His whole person seemed mysterious and ethereal, like a phantom, with an inexplicable aura surrounding him. Xun Daozi felt that at this moment, Yuan Shi was very much like the female Nüwa when she proved the Heavenly Way and mixed the primordial chaos.

  Looking at the expression of Xun Daozi, he knew that he had doubts. He took a sip of the clear tea brought by Su Xin and picked up a spiritual fruit, indicating that Su Xin should sit down beside him. Only then did he speak: "I have already eliminated the three corpses and gained many insights from my meditation. Now I am not far from attaining the Dao. This time, during my travels in the vast wilderness, I found an opportunity to attain the Dao. I came to Xun Dao Mountain because there is something that I must discuss with you."

  "Master, if you have any instructions, I will definitely do my best to carry them out!"

  Yuanshi chuckled and said: "No need for you to go all out!"

  At this point, Yuanshi took out the Pangu banner and raised it. A gray misty aura enveloped the entire bamboo pavilion, and then he took out a treasure box and opened it to make an offering.

  Xun Daozi saw Yuan Shi being so cautious and knew that what he said was not trivial, so he also looked at Yuan Shi with a serious face. Su Xin was even more upright and tense, with a hint of nervousness in his expression.

  "After the initial arrangement, Yuan Shi opened his mouth and said: 'As a master, I have already beheaded the three corpses, and also because of your Taiji Fist's intention to enlighten me on my own way. Now that I am near the moment of enlightenment, even if I am in the vast universe, it is impossible to directly attain the Great Way of Hunyuan. In these thousands of years, I have only been able to see the traces of the Heavenly Way and the Hunyuan Way, but my own understanding of the way has been suppressed and cannot be fulfilled. Moreover, the Heavenly Way and Hunyuan Way that I have seen are always incomplete and cannot be enlightened, making it impossible for me to behead the three corpses and attain enlightenment. There is only one way, which is to attain enlightenment through merit. By exchanging merit for the Heavenly Way, I can imprint the traces of the Heavenly Way and Hunyuan Way on my soul, attaining enlightenment; but those imprinted traces are not my own understanding, they have become usable, yet I do not know the principle, losing the possibility of elevation and transformation. What I lack now is only a little bit of the Heavenly Way and Hunyuan Way's traces, that last bit must be hidden from me by the Heavenly Way. If I can enlighten myself on that last bit of the Heavenly Way and Hunyuan Way's traces, even if I attain enlightenment, I can still elevate my Dao through self-enlightenment; unlike attaining enlightenment through merit, where elevation of one's Dao can only rely on accumulating Qi, earning merit, and receiving gifts from the Heavenly Way to elevate one's Dao realm.' Yuan Shi said this with a sigh."

  Xun Daozi felt a sudden enlightenment in his heart: the saints in the legend of the previous life were all calculating and planning carefully, which was said to be for the sake of fame. It turned out that gathering aura and plotting virtues to improve one's realm was the root. Those saints in the legend of the previous life were all successful in their virtues and the improvement of their realm could only be achieved by competing for aura and virtues.

  The voice of Yuanshi echoed in Xun Daozi's ears once again: "Having reached this step as a master, if you want to independently comprehend the last Heavenly Way and Primordial Chaos Dao mark, there is only one opportunity. It is at the moment when Gong De proves the way. At that moment, the Heavenly Way and Primordial Chaos Dao mark will fully appear, and in the instant between its appearance and imprinting, you must comprehend the unseen Heavenly Way and Primordial Chaos Dao mark for yourself. Even if you imprint the Heavenly Way and Primordial Chaos Dao mark, it is still your own thorough comprehension, which will not affect your future cultivation. It's as if you have simultaneously proven two ways, beheading San Shi and Gong De at the same time. I think that your Shibo and Shishu are also like me now. The Heavenly Way and Primordial Chaos Dao mark they comprehend has reached a point where there is nothing left to comprehend, and their own comprehension of the way has no further progress, unable to be perfected. This should be considered the limit of the Hongyuan Tian Di Da Luo realm." As he spoke, Yuanshi's face had a mixture of pride and desolation.

  Xun Daozi heard Yuan Shi say this, and his heart vaguely understood: Shifu and Shibo, Shishu have reached the extreme limit of Daluo Realm. In the proof of the Tao, an unexpected situation appeared, which was previously discussed by himself and Shifu. The road to proving the Tao through the three corpses was blocked, and the road to proving the Great Tao through the Honghuang Tian Dao was also blocked. Now, the only opportunity lies in the moment of enlightenment of the Gongde Tao, where one can understand the Heavenly Tao and the Mixed Yuan Tao. This opportunity is only available when one has cultivated to the extreme limit of Daluo Realm and has comprehended the Honghuang Tian Dao and the Mixed Yuan Tao to the extreme limit. If there is still a lot left, can you comprehend the remaining Tao marks in that moment? Even if it reaches the extreme limit, it shouldn't be so simple, otherwise Shifu wouldn't have said this to himself, maybe they have already proved the Tao.

  Thinking of this, Xun Daozi opened his mouth and asked: "Master, what does the disciple need to do?"

  Yuanshi Dao said, "As for my current state, I can now calculate some things that I couldn't before. In the last moments of my travels in the vast wilderness, I carefully calculated and felt that if I wanted to reach the moment of enlightenment and understand the Heavenly Way, the Primordial Chaos Tao, and the remaining marks of the Tao, I would need your help, but I didn't know what kind of principle it was. It wasn't until I entered this Seeking Dao Mountain that I finally understood."

  Xun Daozi immediately asked, "Master, please tell your disciple what to do. Your disciple will definitely work together with Master to thoroughly understand the Heavenly Tao and the Primordial Tao!"

  Yuanshi smiled and said: "I need the complete tea leaves that have been formed on your thousand-year-old tea tree, I wonder if you are willing?"

  Xun Daozi hastily said: "Master, this Wudao tea tree has leaves that have been accumulating for ten thousand years. I'll go pick them all right now and bring them to Master!"

  Yuanshi Dao said, "Don't panic, I still want to borrow your 'Xixin Fuchen' protective body and prove the way."

  Xun Daozi immediately summoned 'Tui Xin Fu Chen' and handed it over to Yuan Shi.

  Yuanshi received the transmission and said, "This 'purifying the mind and sweeping away dust' has the effect of purifying the spirit and soul. The master wants to borrow its power to enlighten that unenlightened Dao mark in an instant while verifying the Dao. Hopefully it will be as wished!"

  Xun Daozi hastily said: "Master will surely comprehend the uncomprehended Dao marks and attain the Great Dao of Hunyuan."

  Yuanshi smiled and said: "I hope so!"

  At once, Xun Daozi and Su Xin retreated together to pick all the tea leaves from the Wudao Tea Tree, which had been formed over the past 10,000 years. In total, there were 50 pieces of Wudao Mother Tea, 980 pieces of Wudao Son Tea, and 40,000 pieces of Wudao From Tea. This was a complete set of tea leaves that the Wudao Tea Tree had produced over the past 10,000 years.

  Returning to Bamboo Pavilion, Xuanzi handed over this complete set of tea leaves to his master Yuanshi.

  Yuanshi held the tea leaves and was filled with emotions, never thinking that his own disciple would be the key to his own enlightenment, and he felt a deep sense of gratitude towards Xun Daozi.

  He immediately thought of Shifu's old man, and wondered if Shishu Tongtian would also need a complete set of Wudao tea leaves, as well as "Tixinxufeng". He asked Shifu Yuanshi at the time.

  Yuanshi Dao said, "Your Shibo and Shishu should also need this Wu Dao tea leaves. Your Shibo Laozi has 'Linglong Pagoda' and 'Taiji Diagram', which can probably do without 'Tixin Fuchan'. Your Shishu Tongtian Xingqing is straightforward and indeed needs a treasure to help his spirit understand the mark of the Tao in that instant."

  Xun Daozi and Su Xin left Xun Dao Mountain nearly 20,000 years ago. They still had a complete set of Wu Dao tea leaves, but the third set, although it could be made up in number, was not from the same ten thousand year old leaves, unless they waited another ten thousand years.

  Xun Daozi simply made up a set of numbers and said, "Let's take it to Kunlun Mountain first."

  Before leaving, Xun Daozi hesitated for a moment, turned back to the Dan room of the cave mansion, transferred all the things in the 'Qiankun Ding' to the 'Hunyuan Furnace', and then left Xun Dao Mountain with Yuan Shi and Su Xin, rushing towards Kunlun Mountain.

  After passing through Mount Kunlun, Laozi and Tongtian returned to the cave mansion of Mount Kunlun, but there were a few more people.

  When they met, Tongtian called out the people behind him to Yuan Shi and Xun Daozi, Su Xin saw the courtesy. Called Shibo, Shixiong, and Shi Jie.

  She listened with a pure heart and quickly made way, saying that she had not yet paid homage to her master and did not dare to be called "master sister". But then she heard the old man speak up beside her: "I formally accept you as my disciple today, are you willing?"
