Thirty-two, three clear out of the pass

  Zi returned to Xun Dao's mountain cave mansion, and life resumed its peaceful and warm state. Every day, he practiced and cultivated in an orderly manner.

  In the morning, I practice Tai Chi with a clear mind. In the afternoon, I practice swordplay and study various techniques. Late in the evening, I sit in the bamboo pavilion, sipping tea made by Su Xin, and enjoying spiritual fruits. We talk about our experiences and insights from our travels, and discuss our cultivation and understanding of Taoism. At night, I either meditate on a cloud bed in the cave or in a small wooden hut, letting my body freely circulate the "Zhou Tian Gong" and "Yu Qing Lian Shen Jue", while my consciousness wanders outside the sky, comprehending the Taoist signs and tracks. Occasionally, Su Xin and I take care of the medicinal field together. Life is peaceful and pleasant.

  With a pure heart, every morning I practice Tai Chi with Xun Daozi. In the afternoon, I take care of the medicinal field with Qilong Beast, cultivating various spiritual herbs and rare flowers. In the evening, I return to drink tea and taste fruits with Xun Daozi, sharing our daily gains and insights. At night, in a small bamboo hut, I practice the inherited Gongfa and the breathing techniques taught by Tongtian. Sometimes, I also study the divine mantra of comprehension.

  Time passes quietly in warmth and tranquility, and before you know it, hundreds of years have gone by.

  For hundreds of years, Xun Daozi has been practicing the "Yu Qing Wu Dao Jue" and has become extremely proficient in it. He has also practiced the "Yu Qing Lei Fa" and "Tai Qing Lei Fa" simultaneously, gaining a powerful long-range attack method. His practice of the "Yu Qing Lei Fa" and "Tai Qing Lei Fa" was extremely smooth, as if the techniques were tailor-made for him. Not only did he grasp them quickly, but the power of the thunderbolts he summoned was also immense. At first, he accidentally blew up a mountain peak in the valley, making it look like a mess, so he didn't dare practice the Thunder Method in the valley again and had to run outside to find an empty space to practice. During that time, Xun Dao Mountain was in chaos, with chickens flying and dogs running wildly, until he finally mastered the "Yu Qing Lei Fa" and "Tai Qing Lei Fa", restoring peace to Xun Dao Mountain. He has already grasped the Five Elements Escape Method and Thunder Escape Palm, and is quite familiar with them. The "Shang Qing Chi Jian Jue" can be released and retracted at will, with considerable power. However, he still only has a basic understanding of the "Shang Qing Yu Jian Jue". He has basically mastered the practice of the "Yu Qing Teng Yun Jue", allowing him to ride clouds in the air with ease, but his speed is somewhat embarrassing, not even comparable to the legendary Sun Wukong's "筋斗云" ( Muscle Struggle Cloud), let alone the Wind and Fire Wheels on Nezha's feet. At most, he can only reach the level of an average immortal. Xun Daozi was initially excited and took a lap around Xun Dao Mountain with his cloud-riding skills, but later felt that his speed was somewhat embarrassing for his master, Yuan Shi. Although he still practices from time to time, he is not very diligent. On the other hand, he has mastered the "Yu Qing Lian Shen Jue" to the point where it has become second nature, running automatically without needing to be urged on. He only has a basic understanding of the "Yu Qing Lian Qi Jue", but has not practiced it. He has also independently gained insight into some spiritual methods, gaining many more techniques at his disposal.

  For hundreds of years, Xun Daozi was able to bring out the 'Huxin Sword' and 'Tiqing Fucheng' from his heart chamber and sea of consciousness at will to use against enemies. With the 'Huxin Sword' in hand, the power of the 'Shangqing Hold Sword Technique' reached an unimaginable level for Xun Daozi, who couldn't imagine how to block the sharp sword energy emitted by the 'Huxin Sword'.   Su Xin also reached the threshold of the Tian Xian realm and felt the Dao marks and traces of the Tian Xian realm, only waiting for her to comprehend it fully before she could attain the Tian Xian fruit position. It seems that Su Xin's innate talent is not bad either, even if she wasn't born with a strong physique, she will still have extraordinary achievements.

  On this day, Xun Daozi and Su Xin were in the medicine field taking care of the spiritual medicine. The Jidao beast was beside them, swishing its tail and wandering around. Over the course of several hundred years, the Jidao beast had grown to over two zhang tall, with a body length of nearly six zhang. Its dark golden scales emitted a cold glow, and its head had become more human-like. The three horns on its forehead shone with an eerie golden light within the dark gold color, but the tips of the horns were wrapped in electric light. The electric lights from the three horns occasionally stretched out and intertwined, emitting a crackling sound.

  Suddenly, three rays of auspicious clouds and mist rose from the valley, a shocking pressure descended from the sky, instantly pressing down Xun Daozi and Su Xin who were in the medicine field to crawl on the ground. The Jidragon beast wandering around the edge of the medicine field was even pressed down, its head almost buried in the ground.

  Before long, the pressure in the air disappeared, and Xun Daozi and Su Xin got up from the ground, both of them were covered with mud, looking quite embarrassed.

  The two men didn't even notice the mud on their bodies, they looked up and saw that the sky was filled with a magnificent aura of auspicious clouds, displaying all sorts of mysterious changes.

  Xun Daozi suddenly understood something, and with a burst of wild joy, he turned around without caring about anything else, grabbed Su Xin's hand and rushed towards the cave mansion.

  Xun Daozi pulled Su Xin along, hurrying to the side of the bamboo pavilion. Just as they arrived, Lao Zi, Yuan Shi and Tong Tian walked out of the Wu Dao cave with smiles on their faces, heading towards the bamboo pavilion.

  Xun Daozi hastily pulled Su Xin to greet the three in front of them, Lao Zi, Yuan Shi and Tong Tian. Xun Daozi immediately knelt down on the ground, while Su Xin also bowed down beside him. Xun Daozi shouted: "Welcome Master, Master's wife, and Master's brother out of the mountain pass! Congratulations to Master, Master's wife, and Master's brother for their great progress in Taoism, the ultimate goal is within reach, blessings and longevity are boundless!"

  Su Xin said, "I, Su Xin, respectfully welcome the three venerable sages to leave the pass. I congratulate the three venerable sages on their great progress in their Taoist practice, and wish them a long and auspicious life!"

  The old man raised his hand slightly and said, "You don't have to be so polite, get up and speak."

  Xun Daozi and Su Xin stood up involuntarily, hastily bowed their heads and said: "Thank you, Master!" "Thank you, Immortal!"

  Then the two of them quickly made way and led Laozi and his two companions to sit down in the bamboo pavilion.

  Xun Daozi stood by and quietly excused himself to prepare tea, water, and fruit.

  Yuanshi saw Xun Daozi standing beside him with some mud on his clothes, and a slightly displeased expression on his face. However, he immediately broke into a smile. It turned out that earlier Yuanshi had seen the mud on Xun Daozi's clothes and thought he was being disrespectful. But after a moment's reflection, he understood the circumstances and knew that it was because of the pressure of the three of them leaving the pass that Xun Daozi and Su Xin were pressed to the ground while taking care of the medicine field, causing their bodies to be covered in mud. Xun Daozi knew that his master had left the pass and didn't have time to tidy up before rushing to pay his respects with Su Xin. When he saw Yuanshi and the others, he was so excited that he forgot to clean his clothes. Seeing his disciple's devotion to his master, Yuanshi couldn't help but smile with affection, and in his heart, he was quite satisfied with this disciple.

  Yuanshi opened his mouth and said: "Xun Daozi, you'd better tidy up the mud on your clothes before speaking."

  Xunzi heard this and looked down to see that his clothes were covered in mud, so he quickly bid farewell to Laozi and the others, bowing his head as he backed out of the bamboo pavilion.

  As the Daoist disciple exited the bamboo pavilion, Laozi turned his head to Yuan Shi and said: "This disciple of yours is quite impressive. I didn't expect that in just a few hundred years, he would already have taken a step into the Taiyi scattered immortal realm. Moreover, judging from his breath, his spiritual powers and techniques should also be well-cultivated. I once calculated that this child would be crucial to my three brothers, and it's fortunate to have obtained him. However, upon further calculation, I don't know why, but you must teach him well, Second Brother. This child has a pure heart, and will not disappoint you."

  Yuanshi hadn't spoken yet, but Tongtian chuckled and said from the side: "Second brother, if you find teaching troublesome, just hand it over to me."

  Yuanshi blinked once and saw through the sky, turned his head to Laozi and said: "Brother, you are right, I have taken note of it. I will carefully instruct him myself. As for this child, I am also very satisfied."

  Tongtian said: "Second brother, you've taken in such a disciple, I'm so jealous! In just a few hundred years, he's gone from being an Earth Immortal to achieving the Heaven Immortal fruit position, and now he's even stepped into the Taiyi Scattered Immortal realm. What great innate talent! If only I could also take in such a disciple!"

  Tongtian's praise of Xunzi Dao was so exaggerated that Yuan Shi felt very pleased with himself.

  At this time, Laozi suddenly let out a "hiss" and turned his head to look at something. Yuanshi saw that he was staring intently at an object on the tea table in front of him - it was a thing that was somewhat black and murky, with a greyish tint, resembling both a covered tripod and an alchemical crucible.

  Yuanshi, Tongtian also felt curious, what thing can make Laozi feel surprised, so he carefully examined this unremarkable thing in front of him to see what it was.

  The two of them were also shocked at this sight, what a great treasure!

  Laozi, Yuanshi, and Tongtian looked at each other for a moment, then raised their heads and exchanged glances. The astonishment in their hearts grew even stronger. Where did this Seeker of the Way find such a treasure? This good fortune is indeed too great!

  The three of them looked at each other, although shocked, but also delighted. Having such a great fortunate disciple would also bring benefits to the master.

  The three of us immediately regained our composure. Laozi said, "This time, after several hundred years of closed meditation, I have gained a lot. I'd like to discuss and verify some things with my two virtuous brothers. Is that possible?"

  Yuanshi Dao said: "Good! This time in closed retreat we have gained something, it's just right to take this opportunity to verify what we've obtained and solidify our gains!"

  Tongtian also said: "Exactly, I too want to test with both of you brothers."

  Just then, Zidu led Su Xin to carry the Lingguo Xiangming tea into the bamboo pavilion. The two of them respectfully presented the Lingguo Xiangming tea in front of Laozi and the other three people. They stood up slightly and retreated, Su Xin suddenly knelt down in front of Tongtian, prostrated herself on the ground and said: "Su Xin thanks the immortal for his kindness and assistance, Su Xin kowtows to the immortal!" After finishing speaking, Su Xin knocked her head nine times in front of Tongtian, continuing to bow and prostrate herself on the ground without daring to move slightly.

  Tongtian looked at Su Xin and said: "Are you that little Lingzhi?"

  "Indeed it is I, Little Girl," Su Xin hastily replied, "Thank you, Immortal Elder, for your help in the past."

  Tongtian Dao: "No need for excessive courtesy, this is also your fate."

  Su Xin said: "The great kindness of the immortal is how dare I not thank you, if it were not for the immortal's help in those years, there would be no little girl today."

  Yuanshi was delighted to see Su Xin being so polite, and his heart was filled with joy. He was very satisfied with Xun Daozi, one of his disciples, and this satisfaction extended to the people around him. Seeing Su Xin's politeness, he couldn't help but feel a sense of completion, so he spoke up: "You may get up and sit down next to Xun Daozi, you can watch together as we verify the results of our meditation."

  Xun Daozi heard this and was overjoyed in his heart, he hastily said to Su Xin: "Su Xin, don't you hurry up and thank my master and mistress, as well as my uncle for giving you such a great opportunity!"

  Su Xin was also overjoyed and hastily kowtowed: "Thank you, esteemed sages!"

  The old man smiled and said: "Get up, this is also your fate."

  Su Xin hastily kowtowed and retreated to Xun Daozi's side, sitting down beside him with a look of excitement as he gazed at Yuan Shi and the other two.

  Laozi looked at Su Xin and transmitted his voice to Yuan Shi, saying: "This girl is not bad either. Although she has no roots or foundation, she has already grasped the heavenly immortal's boundary and path after only a few hundred years of cultivation. The fruit of becoming a heavenly immortal is not far off for her. Her innate talent is good, and from what I saw earlier, her temperament is also acceptable. If she can receive guidance, she will surely have some achievements."

  Yuanshi also said: "This girl is also a person with good fortune."

  Tongtian Road: "I think it's okay too."

  Yuanshi and the three of them didn't say much, and immediately began to project the evidence they had obtained from this retreat. For a time, the Taoist sounds echoed in the bamboo pavilion, and various mysterious and profound Taoist tracks appeared in the air.
