  Chapter Fifteen Preaches the Way

  Ye Qing arrived in Honghuang and saw a thriving scene, with ancient trees thousands of feet tall everywhere, and billions of years old ginseng and lingzhi scattered all over.   The Zhongpin Xiantian Linggen Wuse Tea is born from the primordial spirit of the five elements, with five branches and trunks representing the five elements of gold, wood, water, fire, and earth. On the mountaintop, he placed a large piece of green jade stone about ten zhang in size. On top of the green jade stone, he placed a white... Ye Qing thought for a moment to see if there was anything else he had forgotten. Ah yes, he still hadn't taken his Daoist name yet! What kind of Daoist name should he take? Ye Qing's mind was in a knot, but in the end, he decided to just use his own birth name. Ye Qing thought carefully again and confirmed that there was nothing else he had forgotten.

  "I am the Pre-Heavenly Deity Ye Qing, and within a radius of billions and billions of miles around me, all living beings can hear my voice. I have observed that countless living beings in the vast expanse do not know how to cultivate, and I feel the difficulty of their seeking the Way. One hundred years from now, I will open up my cultivation methods and insights here, and those who are destined may come to listen to me expound the Dao."

  Ye Qing finished speaking, and suddenly billions of spiritual beings rushed towards the small hill where Ye Qing was located.

  Unconsciously, a hundred years have passed, and now the nameless small mountain is filled with countless living beings. These living beings are noisy and quarrelsome in the nameless small mountain, and some even kill each other.

  Suddenly, a young man with black tight-fitting clothes, jet-black hair casually tied up, and sword-like eyebrows appeared at the top of the nameless small mountain. His entire body emitted an ethereal aura, and every move he made was in harmony with nature, as if he had been sitting there forever. This young man was Ye Qing. After transmitting his voice to all living beings within a billion-mile radius, Ye Qing set up a pre-heavenly grand array on this nameless small mountain and went into seclusion to cultivate. He only came out when the time for lecturing arrived. Looking at the countless living beings chattering and making noise all over the mountain, Ye Qing felt a bit of a headache. However, he had no choice but to say, "You all sit properly, listen quietly, and do not make any noise. I am about to lecture on the Great Dao."

  Yeqing saw that the countless living beings in the Nameless Mountain could not hear the great Dao's warning, and could not transform their stubborn bones or speak out their minds. All they saw was Yeqing sitting upright on a cloud platform, his entire body radiating an aura of dominance, his knife intent piercing through the void, his starry eyes slightly open, shining with a brilliant light, as if he was the only majestic being left in the universe. The immense knife intent shook the countless living beings in the Nameless Mountain. At that time, in the vast Honghuang universe, words had not yet been created, and all living beings could only rely on their innate spiritual wisdom to listen to the majesty of heaven and earth, and comprehend the great Dao from it.

  Ye Qing knew that his cultivation was not yet at the level of these spirits who had not yet reached the Dao, so he chose to use the simplest and most familiar Daoist classic, the "Dao De Jing", as the opening lecture. He spoke of absorbing the essence of the sun and moon, drawing in the power of the stars, guiding the energy into his body, refining the energy to transform it into spirit, and ultimately achieving the Dao through the process of transformation.

  As he lectured on the Daoist scriptures, the words seemed to come alive, transforming into purple lotus flowers that fell from the sky, entering the hearts of the many spirits who had gathered to listen.   Ye Qing's spirit was fully immersed in the Dao, guiding all living beings on their path of cultivation. As he lectured, he slowly sank deeper into the rules of the Dao.

  "The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao; the name that can be named is not the eternal name. The Nameless is the origin of heaven and earth. The Named is the mother of all things. Therefore, always desire to observe its wonders; always desire to observe its boundaries. These two are the same but have different names. They are called mysterious - mysterious and again mysterious, the door to all wonders. When everyone knows beauty as beautiful, it becomes ugly; when everyone knows good as good, it becomes bad. Therefore, being and non-being produce each other, difficulty and ease complete each other, long and short shape each other, high and low incline towards each other, voice and sound harmonize with each other, front and back follow each other. This is why the sage dwells in non-action, practices wordless teaching. All things arise and he does not refuse them; he gives life but does not possess them; he acts but does not rely on his own power; he accomplishes but does not dwell on it. Only because he does not dwell on it, therefore he is not lost..."

  "There is something that exists in a mixed state, born before heaven and earth. Quiet and empty, standing alone without change, circulating everywhere without danger, it can be the mother of the world. I do not know its name, but for convenience, let us call it 'Tao'. The Tao is great, heaven is great, earth is great, and man is also great. There are four greatnesses in the universe, and man is one of them. Man follows the law of the earth, the earth follows the law of heaven, heaven follows the law of the Tao, and the Tao follows the law of nature..."

  "Heaven and earth are not humane, they regard all things as straw dogs; the sage is not humane, he regards all people as straw dogs. The space between heaven and earth, is it not like a bellows? It is empty, yet it is inexhaustible; the more it moves, the more comes out. Much speech toils, it is not equal to keeping in the center. The spirit does not die, this is called the mysterious female. The gate of the mysterious female, this is called the root of heaven and earth. Soft and weak as if existing, using it without exhaustion, heaven is long-lasting and earth is enduring. Heaven and earth are able to be long-lasting and enduring because they do not give birth to themselves, therefore they can live forever. Therefore the sage puts his body after (others), yet his body comes first; he gives up his body for others, yet his body remains intact. Not that he has no private desires, but because he is able to complete his private desires..."

  At the time of Ye Qing's lecture, although there was no heavenly flower falling and golden lotus rising from the ground, he was still constantly transforming the great Tao of the vast universe. Behind Ye Qing, a boundless knife shadow also emerged, as if it had existed in the heavens since ancient times, giving off an aura of ancient vastness, constantly transforming the trajectory of Pangu's creation of heaven and earth.

  At this time, all living beings with wisdom on the nameless mountain heard these words. At first, they were confused and did not understand, but later they felt that this was the supreme transcendence Dharma gate. They swarmed towards the direction of the lake in a mighty torrent, mixed with walking beasts, flying birds, and scaly creatures, all coming to where Ye Qing was lecturing on the Dharma. The procession was orderly, without any loud noises or mournful cries, presenting a harmonious atmosphere.

  Everyone quietly listened to the heavenly music. During this time, some people danced with joy, others shook their heads and tapped their feet, while still others scratched their heads and kowtowed, displaying all sorts of attitudes.

  Ye Qing was deeply immersed in the realm of Tao, unable to extricate himself, his lips unmoving, yet the sound of the Great Way was like thunder, shaking heaven and earth.

  At the foot of the mountain, there are animals seated in order of rank, quietly listening to the supreme wonderful sound; In the air, countless immortal cranes and divine birds dance, with elegant postures and a stern immortal aura; In the lake, brocade carps jump and spiritual turtles wave, with bubbles rising, golden scales shining, and clusters of colorful lotus flowers in the pond seem like forest spirits, stretching their stems and leaves, swaying and dancing.

  "Man follows the earth, the earth follows heaven, heaven follows the Way, and the Way follows nature." When Ye Qing finished lecturing on the Tao Te Ching, he began to talk about the way of refining the body contained in his evolutionary formula. Of course, Ye Qing would not completely reveal his evolutionary formula, but only guide billions of living beings on how to cultivate their bodies, which is equivalent to indirectly passing on the evolutionary formula to all living beings, and see how much these innate living beings can understand.

  When Ye Qing finished explaining the Evolutionary Scripture, he began to talk about the Quiet Mind Scripture, a method for cultivating the spirit and soul.

  Billions of lives are constantly listening to Ye Qing's Taoist sound, as Ye Qing speaks more and more profound, some lives can't hold on anymore and can't stop.

  Slowly and carefully, Ye Qing finished his lecture on the intricacies of knife techniques. Then, he began to demonstrate his own knife path, surrounded by an enormous and boundless aura of knives that continuously transmitted to the countless living beings below Nameless Mountain. The countless living beings only felt the endless and overbearing knife intent, a majestic and unparalleled dominance that seemed to cut through heaven and earth. Ye Qing performed his knife techniques without holding back. As his knife intent grew stronger, the countless living beings gradually found it difficult to withstand the enormous pressure of the knife intent and slowly regained consciousness. Along with their awakening, they could no longer feel the boundless and endless knife intent. Until the last living being awoke, Ye Qing stopped demonstrating his knife techniques. Seeing that some of these living beings had the best qualifications and could withstand one layer of his knife intent, Ye Qing nodded in approval. However, he did not intend to accept any disciples. Looking at how nearly 8,100 years had passed, Ye Qing decided not to lecture on the Tao again.

  During this time, countless lives were transformed upon hearing the sound of salvation. Ye Qing only lent a hand when he saw that they could not transcend on their own. This unintentional action by Ye Qing caused these lives to hold him in high esteem.

  The spirits of all living beings looked at Ye Qing and stopped talking, they all raised their heads to look at Ye Qing. "I have preached for 8,100 years now, from now on I will no longer preach, I hope you all cultivate well."

  After finishing speaking, he left without waiting for the crowd to speak. When Ye Qing left, a large amount of Xuan Huang gongde gas descended from the Great Way, equivalent to half a layer of Kaitian gongde. The greatness and abundance of Kaitian gongde can be seen in the numerous gongde that Ye Qing has obtained. This is the reward given by the Great Way for Hongyuan's first selfless lecture on the Tao for the benefit of all living beings in Hongyuan.

  Ye Qing waved his hand and collected the Xuan Huang gongde gas descended from the Great Way, preparing to refine a set of acquired gongde treasures, the Five Elements Annihilation Array. However, these gongde are clearly still insufficient. Therefore, Ye Qing decided that from now on, he would continue to lecture on the Tao for the benefit of all living beings in Hongyuan and reform the harsh environment of the Hongyuan continent to acquire more gongde.
