Chapter Nineteenth: The Three Pure Ones Separate

  Nüwa received the sacred power, and with a flash of her body, she appeared in front of Yun Zhongzi. Yun Zhongzi hastily put away his magic treasure and said, "Congratulations to Nüwa for achieving sainthood, wishing you eternal longevity."

  Nüwa handed over the gongde xian teng in her hand to Yun Zhongzi and said, "Fellow Taoist, don't be too polite. This time becoming a saint also has to thank fellow Taoist for pointing it out."

  Yun Zhongzi hastily waved his hand and said, "Your Majesty's words are too serious, I haven't done anything."

  Nüwa just smiled and didn't care whether Yunzhongzi was intentional or unintentional, but Nüwa indeed received a hint from Yunzhongzi, which made her suddenly enlightened and became a saint.

  But in Nüwa's view, all of this should be unintentional, perhaps it was the will of heaven, otherwise how would Zhōngzi know where his key to becoming a saint lay?

  If she really knew, wouldn't it be the same as the teacher? Niú naturally wouldn't think this way, so she reasonably thought that Yún Zhōngzǐ was just unintentionally passing by and also unintentionally mentioning herself.

  Actually, Yun Zhongzi said those words earlier with intention, he repeatedly mentioned the word "person" and even brought up that in the process of spiritual cultivation, it is inevitable to "transform into a human form", so I believe Nüwa will definitely understand the key point.

  Yu Zhong pointed at the crowd on the ground and said to Nüwa, "Your Majesty, this thing is made for you. Please give it a name!"

  Nüwa said, "Since fellow Daoist previously mentioned the four words 'transform into human', and as you and I are also called humans, then from now on this tribe will be called the Human Tribe!"

  Everyone on earth bowed down and said, "Thank you, Holy Mother, for giving us a name."

  Nüwa said, "I'm going to open up a dojo outside the 33rd heaven, this human tribe will be taken care of by fellow Taoists for now."

  "Your Ladyship can rest assured, I will take care of it myself."

  "I'll go first then." Nüwa turned her head and took another look at the human tribe before turning around and flying out towards the Thirty-Third Heaven.

  "Farewell, Holy Mother." The human tribe bid farewell to Nüwa and left.

  After Nüwa left, Yúnzhōngzǐ led the human tribe to find a place to settle down. According to his knowledge, after Nüwa created humans, they lived on Mount Shouyang, which was in the east, so Yúnzhōngzǐ took the human tribe and headed east.

  At the same time, thirty-three days away, Nüwa opened up her own Daoist temple, named: Wahuang Palace. Not long after, Sanqing, Jiēyǐn, Zhunti, Yáohuáng Dìjūn, Tàiyī and other senior saints all went to visit.

  Yun Zhongzi spent several years searching for Mount Xiangyang and finally found it, settling the human tribe there before staying on the mountain for a period of time.

  During this time, he passed on a method of cultivation to the first human created by Nüwa and named it Xū Dào.

  Yun Zhongzi returned to the Jade Void Palace and began to close his doors for cultivation. After thousands of years of cultivation, Yun Zhongzi's cultivation had reached the peak of the early stage of Daluo Jinxian, and one more step forward would be the middle stage of Daluo Jinxian.

  Now that Nüwa has become a saint, the Three Pure Ones will not be far from becoming saints either. However, this opportunity to become a saint is slow in coming, and the Three Pure Ones are also helpless about it. They no longer just close their doors to comprehend the Great Way, but often explain the Great Way to their disciples.

  Yun Zhongzi's luck wasn't bad, after leaving the pass he found San Qing was lecturing on the Dao, so he sat down and quietly listened to what the three were saying. There were many things that he hadn't understood during this period of time, but after listening to San Qing's lecture, he suddenly had an epiphany and grasped it thoroughly. Yun Zhongzi thought to himself, "Indeed, bitter practice is no match for having someone explain the Dao."

  After listening, Yun Zhongzi closed himself again, repeating this process every hundred years. After hearing the Three Pure Ones' lecture on the Tao, he closed himself once more. In the blink of an eye, eight hundred years passed, and Yun Zhongzi walked out of his room with a smile all over his face. It turned out that after listening to the Tao and closing himself several times, he had recently made a breakthrough in his cultivation, reaching the middle stage of the Daluo Golden Immortal realm. No wonder Yun Zhongzi was so delighted.

  Yun Zhongzi rushed into the grand hall, but suddenly felt a suppressive atmosphere emanating from within. Yun Zhongzi's heart skipped a beat as he sensed something was off and quickly entered the grand hall.

  As soon as he entered the grand hall, he heard a sentence.

  "I don't care if you take in disciples, but you're indiscriminate and only collect those flat-haired beasts. The entire Jade Void Palace has been turned into a den of thieves by this group of disciples of yours. Hmph, such disciples cannot be allowed to stay in the Jade Void Palace."

  Yun Zhongzi's expression changed upon hearing this, and he muttered under his breath, "It's all over."

  Although in the past few sermons, Yuanshi Tianzun and Tongtian Jiao had often quarreled, even Laozi no longer advised them. But this time, Yuanshi Tianzun's words were too severe, it seemed that separation was imminent.

  As soon as the voice of Yuanshi Tianzun fell, Tongtian Jiao Zhu instantly stood up, pointing at Yuanshi Tianzun with anger and shouting, "Yuanshi, you are too deceitful! You scold my disciples as flat-haired beasts, aren't you also scolding me as a beast? I am one of the Three Pure Ones, originally one body with you. If I am a beast, what is Yuanshi then? Such insults to us, Yuanshi, you are not even human."

  Yuanshi Tianzun had just finished speaking when he knew he had misspoken, and now he was being severely reprimanded by Tongtian Jiao. Although he felt that he was not in the right, with his proud nature as Yuanshi, it was impossible for him to swallow his pride and apologize to Tongtian Jiao, especially since he was also his senior brother. Therefore, Yuanshi Tianzun was so angry that his whole body trembled, and he let out a furious roar at Tongtian Jiao, but did not dare to take action. Instead, he turned to Laozi and said, "Senior Brother, you'd better say something. The current state of the Jade Void Palace is already chaotic beyond recognition. If things continue like this, where will our Three Pure Ones' dignity be?"

  He didn't notice that Laozi's face also looked bad, apparently Laozi also felt that Yuanshi Tianzun's words were not suitable, sighed and was about to say something, but didn't expect Tongtian Teach Master to speak up.

  "Alright, alright, since the Jade Void Palace cannot accommodate me, Tongtian, I will withdraw from the Jade Void Palace and establish a new sect."

He knew that the separation of the Three Purities was inevitable, and besides, he couldn't stop it. So when Tongtian Sect Master left, he followed suit. The remaining disciples saw this and also left the main hall one after another.

  The old master saw the Tianxian Sect Master leave without looking back, taking his disciples with him. The old master also sighed and said, "The Three Purities were originally one family, but now they have become like this. Alas, I will establish another mountain gate, the Yuxu Palace, and from now on, it will be handed over to my younger brother to manage."

  Yuanshi Tianzun symbolically hesitated for a moment, if he really wanted Yuanshi Tianzun to give up the Jade Void Palace, it would be absolutely impossible. Otherwise, seeing the current state of the Jade Void Palace, he wouldn't have chosen to drive away the disciples of Tongtian Sect Master, but rather leave quietly himself.
