Chapter 35: The Nine Types of Immortal Bones

Chapter Thirty-Five: The Nine Types of Immortal Bones

On the eighth day, Yu Zecheng finally finished his social obligations and had nothing to do, so he spent a leisurely day. On this day, many businesses in Linhai City opened one after another, all wanting to make some money on this auspicious day, most of them would have promotions and discounts, Yu Zecheng decided to go out for a stroll, now that he had some silver coins in his pocket, he could buy several good books to read.

Yu Ze Cheng took his younger brother and sister to the streets to have fun, his younger brother and sister were very happy, they ran wildly on the big street, everything looked novel. Yu Ze Cheng this older brother was very responsible, whatever they wanted, he would buy for them.

Yu Ze Cheng's younger brother, Yu Ze Gong, had cultivated the Fierce Tiger's Roar to the Great Completion realm four years ago, which was faster than Yu Ze Cheng's cultivation speed. Unfortunately, Yu Ze Cheng did not feel that intimate aura from him, it seemed that Yu Ze Gong did not have a spiritual root and could not cultivate immortality. Therefore, Yu Ze Cheng taught his brother the Butterfly Transformation Great Method, this internal skill belonged to the pre-heavenly secret book, which was countless times more brilliant than those internal skill secret books of the Black Tiger Hall.

Yu Ze Cheng arrived at Lin Hai City's largest Yuan Mo Bookstore and selected books he liked in the store.

"This book is "The Records of Qin", that one is "The Legend of Wu Country's Divine Wind", this one "The Ancient Legends", that side "The Tale of the Lotus Pickers"..."

Yu then made a selection and bought twenty-three books. He handed over five taels of silver to the shop assistant, saying:

"There's no need to look for what's left."

He turned and left amidst the flattering voices of his friends. This was once Yu Zecheng's ideal, when he used to pretend to buy books in a bookstore, stealing glances while enduring the discriminatory gaze of the shopkeeper. At that time, Yu Zecheng would fantasize about having such a day, throwing down silver coins and saying nonchalantly "keep the change", then leaving amidst the envious gazes of the shopkeeper.

The ideal has finally come true now. But it's completely different from what it was back then. And there isn't the kind of happiness I imagined either.

Yu Ze Cheng walked out of the bookstore, and Fu Qiang followed him, taking over Yu Ze Cheng's books before leaving again. This was one of the benefits of being a big brother - for days now, Fu Qiang and his younger brother Fu Chen had been secretly following and protecting him, as per the rules of the Jianghu. Yu Ze Cheng gradually got used to this feeling of having someone guarding him from behind.

His younger brother and sister were running around with their playmates, playing very happily. Yu Ze Cheng smiled as he watched them. At this time, seven or eight young men came over, about the same age as Yu Ze Cheng. They were chatting and laughing. They were all relatives of the Black Tiger Gang's disciples and Yu Ze Cheng's former playmates from when his father was still alive. At that time, he had no worries and played with them every day. After his father died, he went to work at the Black Tiger Gang and never had the chance to play with them again.

They saw Yu Ze Cheng stunned, originally laughing and playing, suddenly all honest, it seems they knew Yu Ze Cheng's reputation through their elders. They respectfully greeted Yu Ze Cheng and quickly left him, walking not far before starting to play again.

Looking at these past companions, thinking of their attitude towards themselves, Yu Zecheng suddenly had a feeling of being in a different world. Although he was only 15 years old, he had been dealing with those cunning and treacherous people every day, his mentality had become very old, the former innocence was gone, and his hands were already stained with fresh blood.

The face of the young man who beheaded himself appeared in Yu Zecheng's mind again, but Yu Zecheng was unmoved. This was the path he had chosen, and since he had chosen it, he would walk on without regret, even if he were to find himself in a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood in the future, he would still persist unwaveringly.

As soon as this thought arose, the true yuan in his body underwent a drastic change. The fifth transformation that had been unable to be reached for a long time was actually completed smoothly in this moment of thought. The blood in his body churned and the blood energy overflowed, and all the skin and hair on his body began to undergo a variation and strengthening through the penetration of blood energy in this transformation.

Yu Ze Cheng stood still for a long time, his skin becoming crystal clear like beautiful jade, as white and tender as an infant's. The fifth transformation came quickly and went quickly, the five transformations were complete, the refinement of blood and body was greatly accomplished, and he naturally entered the middle level of the Qi-gathering realm.

Boundary ascension, as Yu Ze Cheng was surrounded by a large amount of spiritual energy rushing into his body. Fortunately, this was a bustling downtown area, and the spiritual energy content was not high, so it did not cause a whirlwind, and no one noticed.

After the fifth transformation, Yu Zhen suddenly discovered that a strange energy was born from the blood energy in his body. This energy was different from the true yuan in his body and also different from the blood energy. It might be what is called Ling Qi, but unfortunately, it was only a tiny thread, seemingly as weak as the blood energy at the very beginning.

Apart from the powerful force, Yu Zhecheng's five senses became even clearer, and a strange sixth sense was integrated, without using his eyes to see or his ears to hear, he could feel everything within three feet around him, the rustling of leaves on the ground, the sound of pedestrians' breathing, his own heartbeat. This feeling had appeared before, but it was always fleeting, unlike now when it became a permanent part of himself, forever existing. This is probably what the ancient book recorded as "Shen Shi". His second cultivation manual, "The Formless Annihilation Shen Shi Transformation Technique", was based on this.

Yu Ze Cheng was using his spiritual sense to perceive everything, and he found that the blood energy in his body was wandering around under the leadership of the silk-like force. They seemed to be searching for something. Yu Ze Cheng knew that he needed to enter the next level of cultivation, transforming blood into a silk-like force, and he needed to choose an organ to undergo this transformation.

In Blood Oath, nine organs are available for selection:

The first organ is the heart, after being tempered, it becomes the Blood Heart, which can possess infinite blood energy. After tempering is successful, even if the heart is injured, it will maintain the body's operation and also perform self-repair on the body, it can be said that there is an undying guarantee, a never-stopping heart.

The second organ is the dual kidneys. After this organ is transformed, it will bring infinite power, endless endurance and boundless physical strength through the Eternal Furnace.

The third organ is the pair of eyes, which after transformation, becomes the Blood God Eyes. The pair of eyes are like torches, seeing objects in darkness, not fearing strong light, with extraordinary vision, and the pair of eyes only show a slight change in color. In later cultivation, one will also obtain the Blood Eye Technique, Controlling Heart Eye, and other powerful divine abilities.

The fourth organ is the teeth, which can transform into forty wisdom teeth after enlightenment. It is said that those with these teeth are great sages. Alternatively, they may turn into magical teeth that can absorb the essence of all things, leaving nothing unabsorbed. Or they may become steel teeth capable of biting through everything, allowing one to bite through emptiness in the future. Or they may transform into law teeth that can spew out flames, ice, poison, lightning, and other gases, making them formless and shapeless, the first among hidden people.

The fifth organ is the twin legs' shin bones. After being transformed, they become the Wind-Chasing and Sun-Pursuing Bones. The twin legs will then obtain the divine power of Flying Hairpin Legs, allowing them to fly over grass and move as swiftly as lightning. In the future, learning escape techniques will be as easy as turning one's palm.

The sixth type of organ is the fingernails on both hands, which after being refined, become the Divine Sword Fingernails. The fingernails will undergo a transformation and can be transformed into three-foot-long sword nails that are extremely sharp, and can also absorb the enemy's blood energy. Moreover, these fingernails can continue to be refined in the future and become a magical artifact.

The seventh organ is the shoulder bone. After this organ is transformed, or transformed into Tianci Blood Copper Bone, it will increase the perceptual power of fire-based immortal techniques, and learning fire-based immortal techniques will be extremely fast. Or transform into Hanshu Xuanbing Bone, which increases the perceptual power of water-based ice-based immortal techniques, and you can learn them immediately.

The eighth organ is a pair of wrist bones, which after transformation become the unmatched sword bones, with extremely agile wrists that will later wield flying swords and cast spells at incredible speed.

The ninth organ is the skull, after being refined, it can obtain the Eternal Star Bone, absorb the power of the stars to repair the body, and accelerate the speed of chanting spells. At the same time, it becomes as strong as iron, extremely hard.

These congenital organs look mysterious, but they are not that magical. Among the people of the world, one in ten million is born with such an organ, and when found by a Xianmen sect, they will be taken as a disciple. Their cultivation realm will advance at a shocking speed. These powerful organs are named Xiangu in the Xianmen world, along with Huigen, Tianfu, and Shentong, known as the four great shortcuts to immortality. Possessing one of them will make the path to immortality smooth.

Through painstaking research, the reason for the formation of Xian Gu (Fairy Bones) was found. In ancient times, humans and immortals lived together, and those who cultivated immortality obtained secret techniques that also transformed their roots, bones, and blood vessels. Their descendants lost the opportunity to cultivate immortality, scattering their bloodline among ordinary people, causing their descendants to possess special talents in certain aspects, different from ordinary mortals. In modern terms, this is genetic inheritance variation. This is the principle of Xian Gu formation. For example, the disciples of Tian Mu Zong were skilled in eye techniques, and later when they married and had children, their descendants might have obtained the Xian Gu of the Heavenly Eye.

The Supreme Taoist Dharma has a profound and powerful method, which goes against the ordinary way of doing things. Through research, it has developed a technique to transform an ordinary person's physical body into a divine one, known as the "Xian Fa" or "Immortal Method". The "Supreme Heavenly Dao Blood Seal Technique" is one of them.

Unfortunately, each of these nine organs has its own method and sequence for cultivation. The Blood Slashing Manual only provides the cultivation methods for three of them, and the remaining six can only be obtained after reaching the Foundation Establishment stage and cultivating the middle volume. Thinking about these nine optional immortal bones made it difficult for Yu Ze Cheng to make a choice. Which one should he choose?

It was already noon when Fu Qiang said on one side:

"Boss, it's noon, come to my house for lunch, Lin Ye Hong is also at my place, just a short walk and we can all get together."

Yu Ze Cheng nodded upon hearing this and called out to his younger brother and sister before heading towards Fu Gang's home.

Fu Gang's home was an independent quadrangle courtyard, Lin Ye Hong was also here. After his family died tragically, he never got married and lived alone. Fu Gang saw him being lonely and invited him to have dinner together.

When Yu Zecheng arrived, everyone was delighted and specially added a few dishes. Among them was a stunning woman who was busy back and forth, occasionally exchanging eye contact with Fu Qiang.

Jing Fang introduced her as Fu Qiang's wife, who had not yet passed the door. This year, they would be holding a wedding ceremony. Yu Ze immediately congratulated them and took out one of the seven exquisite pieces of jewelry he had kept, as a gift to celebrate their meeting.
