Chapter 7: Peaceful Cultivation

  Chapter 7: Peaceful Cultivation

  Peaceful Cultivation

Since Tian Long explained the mysteries of Qi Yun, Ye Wei and altar to him, Shen Long calmed down and planned to cultivate diligently. He felt that he had awakened late and couldn't help much. Moreover, he was not familiar with the current situation of the dragon clan, so it was not good for him to point fingers arbitrarily.

After Shen Long expressed his thoughts to Tian Long, Tian Long agreed without hesitation, after all, this was the usual practice of dragons. However, Huang Long had some reservations about this, as he, a battle maniac, always wanted to find a partner.

In this way, Shen Long quietly cultivated in his own palace on the grounds that he needed to understand the dragon clan. At first, he didn't know how to cultivate and could only rely on his primordial spirit to comprehend the Heavenly Way in the void. However, Shen Long gradually discovered that such a cultivation speed was really too slow and must have a set of cultivation systems.

At first, Shen Long wanted to ask the three Ancestral Dragons for their own cultivation methods. However, considering that his own Dao was completely different from theirs, and that the primordial ancestor of the Honghuang wasn't his own creation, if it were to be passed on, he would lose face.

Shen Long sat quietly in the Dragon Palace, motionless, thinking about all sorts of things from his past life. Suddenly, Shen Long's heart skipped a beat, and he excitedly opened his eyes, with purple golden light shooting out over a foot long.

Yes, I'm so stupid. The Taoist principles I've learned are too miscellaneous and it's impossible to create my own skills all at once. Why not sort out my own Taoist principles and then find my own way from them?

Shen Long sat quietly, his primordial spirit combing the Great Dao, gazing at the individual Great Dao talismans, each one linked together in a chain, forming a web of law that was woven from these chains. His primordial spirit wandered within it, thoroughly enjoying itself.

Suddenly, Shen Long Dao's mind was clear and transparent, and he summarized a great dao motto from the midst of the Great Dao laws.

A "Dao" character appeared in Shen Long's heart. A flash of tremble passed through Shen Long's mind, "Dao", "Dao" why is it so familiar? It seems to have been seen somewhere, but where? Shen Long felt that he had forgotten something very important, if he could remember, his Kung Fu problem would not be a problem, and his cultivation would also improve.

The intuition of a cultivator is very important, Shen Long also firmly believes in this point, so Shen Long thinks desperately.

Shen Long thought about things, and he had the signs of entering the devil's lair. His Dao heart gradually became blurred and fell into a dangerous realm. At this time, that "Dao" suddenly lit up, illuminating the entire Dao heart space.

After Shen Long jumped out of that demonic realm, he was frightened for a while, but still stared motionlessly at the "Tao" character shining with golden light in his mind, searching through his memories, and suddenly his eyes lit up.

"Oh yeah! I forgot about him."

In his past life, he lived in a society where information was highly developed, and there were many classic books that had been passed down to a world without Taoism, still revered as classics, which was not much different from the great Daoist aphorisms.

Excitedly, Shen Long immediately projected his primordial spirit into the void, reciting Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching with a concentrated mind.

The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao; the name that can be named is not the eternal name. The Nameless is the origin of heaven and earth. The Named is the mother of all things. Therefore, always desire to observe its wonder without desire; always desire to observe its boundary with desire. These two come from the same source but differ in name; both may be called mysteries. Mystery upon mystery - the gate to all wonders.

  。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。

The great Taoist symbols in the void continuously entered Shen Long's primordial spirit, and his Taoist heart also evolved into various great Taoist maxims. His primordial spirit was rapidly growing under these circumstances.

  Excitedly continued reading:

The supreme good is like water. Water benefits all things and does not compete, it dwells in the places that people dislike, hence it is close to the Way. Dwelling in a good place; having a good heart, being good at benevolence, speaking with good faith, governing with good order, doing things with good ability, acting with good timing. Only by not competing, can one have no fault.

Shen Long finished lecturing on the Tao Te Ching and then lectured on "Huang Ting Nei Jing" (Yellow Court Internal Classic), "Huang Di Nei Jing" (Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon) and other widely spread Daoist classics.

After finishing the Taoist scriptures, Shen Long, who was still unsatisfied, went on to lecture on Buddhist scriptures. Although in his past life he didn't like the rules of Buddhism, what has been passed down are classics. Shen Long began to lecture on the Buddhist scripture "The Heart Sutra of Prajna Paramita".

The Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, when practicing the profound Prajnaparamita, saw that all five skandhas are empty and transcended all suffering. Shariputra, form is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from form; form is exactly emptiness, emptiness is exactly form. The same applies to sensation, perception, mental formations, and consciousness. Shariputra, this is the characteristic of all phenomena: no birth, no death, no defilement, no purity, no increase, no decrease. Therefore, in emptiness there is no form, no sensation, no perception, no mental formations, no consciousness; no eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, or mind; no form, sound, smell, taste, touch, or dharma; no eye realm, up to no consciousness realm; no ignorance and also no end of ignorance, up to no old age and death, and also no end of old age and death. No suffering, accumulation, extinction, or path; no wisdom and also no attainment. Because there is no attainment, the Bodhisattva relies on Prajnaparamita and has an unobstructed mind. Without obstruction, there is no fear, far removed from inverted views and dreams, ultimately Nirvana. All Buddhas of the three times rely on Prajnaparamita to attain Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi. Therefore, it is known that Prajnaparamita is a great mantra, a great bright mantra, an unsurpassed mantra, an unequalled mantra, able to eliminate all suffering, truly not false. Therefore, the Prajnaparamita mantra is spoken: Gate gate paragate parasamgate bodhi soha.

Although Buddhist scriptures are all about guiding people towards goodness, Shen Long still managed to find some useful maxims for himself.

Afterwards, Shen Long recited the Buddhist scriptures such as "Diamond Sutra" and "Guanyin Jing". He even read that "Mahakaruna Dharani" which was the most hated by his previous life's Shen Long.

The more Shen Long thought about the truth of the Tao, the more he felt dissatisfied. He recalled every detail of his past life, spanning twenty to thirty years, whether it was society, economy, life, people, events, famous quotes, movies, and so on - anything that came to mind. He hoped to find some underlying principles to deepen his understanding of the Tao.

After Shen Long finished recalling these memories, he became immersed in that profound and mysterious sensation of practicing Qi, and combined with his own understanding of the Tao, he continued to sort out the laws of Heaven and Earth.

One day in the cave is already a thousand years in the world.

Time flies like an arrow, and three thousand years have passed since Shen Long closed his door.

Quietly sitting in the Dragon Palace, Shen Long suddenly had his momentum slowly rising, stopping only at the boundary of Daluo Peak. Then Shen Long sat down and rose a three-layer altar, on which were densely packed with large Taoist symbols, although intricate, but clear and logical.

Suddenly, the Daoist talismans on this altar broke one after another and then reformed into new Daoist talismans. The Daoist talismans connected to form a chain, and the chains of laws formed a web of laws. Various webs of laws were interwoven together, forming a new altar with four layers. Upon closer inspection, there were three thousand kinds of Daoist talismans.

Shen Long opened his eyes, "Whoa, with 3,000 avenues, I'm actually Hong Jun."

It was then vetoed by Shen Long. Hong Jun couldn't be a dragon, otherwise the Dragon Clan in the previous life's legend wouldn't have been so miserable.

"After all, I managed to catch up with the other three dragons' Tian Di industry positions, a hundred and eight times the cultivation speed."

"Let's take a look at this jade slip first!"

This jade slip was given by Tianlong, recording some things about the dragon clan, as well as some powers and obligations within the dragon clan, and also the cultivation knowledge of Honghuang.

The cultivation of the primordial spirits relies on the inheritance of heaven and earth, then creates their own techniques, or a race cultivates the ancestral methods of their ancestors.

The ranking of Honghuang's strength is as follows:

Terrestrial Immortal: A group of living beings at the lowest level of the Primordial Chaos, because the Primordial Chaos has just been generated, and the living beings are born with this strength.

Tian Xian: A realm above the Hong Huang Di Xian, a realm that most living beings can cultivate to.

Taiyi Realm: Divided into Taiyi True Immortal, Taiyi Mysterious Immortal, and Taiyi Golden Immortal. The main power of the Primordial Chaos is this realm.

Tai Luo Realm: Divided into Tai Luo True Immortal, Tai Luo Mysterious Immortal, and Tai Luo Golden Immortal.

The next is the realm of saints: divided into quasi-saints and saints.

Shen Long was about to enter the quasi-saint realm, but he knew that sitting still would not lead to a breakthrough.

"Anyway, we have to deal with the Dragon Clan's affairs, might as well take the opportunity to go out and take a look around, who knows, maybe we can even make a breakthrough."

  Vanished into the Dragon Palace.
