Soughing wind and rain in dreams
The new semester has quietly begun, seemingly without any symptoms or opening remarks, yet it is destined to bring many twists and turns, much wind and rain, and many stories.
Although they lost half a month's vacation, students had some dissatisfaction and reluctance in their hearts. However, the vacation just ended, and everyone still had many exciting and moving experiences left over. So, classmates sat together in twos or threes, chatting spontaneously about where they went for fun, what strange experiences they had, or what big meals they ate. In short, their faces were filled with smiles, and their words were full of laughter.
However, Chen Haonan sat quietly in a corner of the classroom, his face showing no excitement at all. He just kept fiddling with his fingers. On the surface, he seemed particularly calm, but deep down in his heart, it was turbulent and violently impacting his heart. Because he was thinking about his father's illness, his mind was in disarray, he was anxious and uneasy, and he even wanted to find something to numb himself.
Thinking of his seriously ill father, Chen Haonan's heart was like being pierced by millions of steel needles. How he wanted to stay by his father's side and accompany him through the final stages of his life, but instead, his father had yelled at him to go back to school - how could he possibly calm down and sit in class at a time like this?
More and more people came into the classroom, the sound of laughter grew louder, Chen Haonan suddenly stood up and quickly walked out...
Standing on the rooftop of the teaching building, Chen Haonan stared blankly into the distance, motionless for a long time. Suddenly, he thought of a poem:
The dragon rises in the four seas and rolls up huge waves; the tiger roars in the mountains and shakes the mountain peaks.
Your noble spirit is not limited to this humble place; one day you will spread your wings and soar to great heights!
Life is full of unexpected twists and turns, the long road ahead is fraught with hardships and difficulties.
The storm will pass, wait quietly for the rainbow!
This poem was given by a friend named Xiao Qi to Chen Haonan when they were in junior high school.
Due to the economic situation at home, Xiao Qi dropped out of school without finishing her second year of junior high. Although Chen Haonan didn't spend much time with Xiao Qi, he was deeply impressed by her academic performance, poetic talent, and unique perspective on many things. Despite being more than a month older than Xiao Qi, he was happy to call her "sister". When she dropped out of school, she didn't say goodbye to him, but instead sent him a letter through someone else. This little poem was attached to the back of that letter.
Since Xiao Qi left, Chen Haonan often couldn't help but think of her, thinking of that dark-skinned girl. He also often took out the letter she left behind to read - especially this little poem, every time he read it, he had an indescribable feeling.
Although so, Chen Haonan still didn't think much. However, just last night, when he was packing his luggage, he unexpectedly found the letter left by Xiao Qi again - reading this poem over and over, his heart seemed to suddenly clear up, and he also suddenly understood the purpose of Xiao Qi's gift...
The night is getting deeper.
This was the first "dormitory night" of the new semester, and for some reason, Chen Haonan suddenly woke up in the middle of the night. After a long time, he still didn't feel sleepy at all.
The brothers in the bedroom had long entered the land of dreams, either snoring loudly or talking in their sleep, but Chen Haonan couldn't fall asleep for a long time.
In the darkness, Chen Haonan's eyes were still staring out of the window. He didn't know when it started raining. He clearly remembered that there were still stars in the sky when he returned to his dormitory...
Outside the window, the sound of wind swaying branches and raindrops hitting the glass occasionally reached Chen Haonan's ears - perhaps when people wake up early in the morning, many will not know that it was a stormy night; perhaps this stormy night is indicating something... Will there be a rainbow tomorrow morning? Perhaps the sun will definitely come out!
"After wind and rain, the rainbow will appear!"
This is a line from the popular Hong Kong and Taiwan song "True Hero", also Chen Haonan's favorite lyrics, perhaps dreams really do come true after the storm...
