Chapter Eighteen

  Chapter Eighteen

  Palace joy.

Lucky words slipped out in a dream, but made the bright heart suddenly fall to the bottom of the ice cave, and his face turned white without a single trace of blood.

Lucky's head turned back to Ming Lang in surprise, and Ming Lang's pale face made his heart ache. How could he, even if it was unintentional, hurt him like this?

"Good luck." Lucky called out softly.

"Uh..." Bright and straight, staring at the white wall in front of him, his eyes didn't dare to glance sideways, looking for good luck.

  "I..."

"Lucky thing I got up a bit too quickly and felt dizzy, get me a glass of water."

  "Oh."

Good fortune handed the water cup to Ming Lang, "Thank you." Ming Lang said dryly, his expression unnatural as he took the cup, drank two mouthfuls, and placed it on the bedside table.

  "Clearly, I..."

"Ah, it's time already." Ming Lang flipped over and was about to get out of bed when he got tangled up in the blanket.

"Brilliant!" Lucky exclaimed, quickly squatting down to pull Ming Lang over.

"Good luck." Minglang suddenly hugged Lucky tightly, with a panicked look on his face.

"Huh? Where did you get hurt?"

  Good luck.

"What's wrong? Are you in pain?"

"Good luck." A bright and murmuring cry.

  "Uh-huh."

  "Don't leave me, okay?"

  ……

Lucky's heart was churning with unbearable discomfort for a long time, before slowly nodding on the bright shoulder.

  "Forever."

  "Forever."

The matter of going to the South China Sea was quickly approved, and Minglang couldn't wait any longer. In just a few short days, he felt like he was about to go crazy from being tormented.

Every time Gong Xi came, although each time Lucky would call him to go out together, but looking at the focused eyes he used to look at Lucky, his heart felt like there was a lemon being squeezed in his stomach, sour and unbearable.

He was lucky to have started packing as soon as he received the notice. Neither he nor Minglang were homebodies, and their household items were all over the place. The daily cleaning was done by a part-time worker, but they didn't take care of organizing the house, so it was quite an undertaking to gather everything that needed to be taken away.

"Lucky, otherwise let's hire someone to clean up for us." Ming Lang looked at Lucky who had spread things all over the floor, table and bed, but it was still a mess and he didn't know where to start.

Lucky scratched his head, this mess seemed like he really didn't know what to do with these things, and how to put them away.

"No way, how would she know what we're all taking if we hire someone?"

Sitting on the only small chair that was left intact, with her legs crossed and a smile she couldn't control: "But dear, look at the mess you've made of this room, do you know what we're supposed to take with us?"

"Hmm, don't know." Lucky mischievously shrugged his shoulders.

"Or I'll call Aunt Liu and let her come over to clean up for us."

"Go ahead and go, pack your bags and have someone from D city come to Beijing just for you. What a joke! If others find out about this, we'll be laughed to death."

  "What's to be done?"

Yes, fortunately, he was lucky enough to make a mess of it, even more chaotic than the scene after being robbed.

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. I'll start from this corner, you start from that corner, and we'll definitely be able to tackle this pile of stuff. Persevere and we'll triumph!!!"

Good luck was wearing a simple military green vest at home, military green four-angle shorts, with a serious face, shouting slogans.

He let out a loud "hahaha" and then couldn't stop laughing.

"Laugh, laugh, laugh your ass off, and still don't pay."

The brighter he looked at him, the more flustered and excited he became, and the more fiercely he laughed.

"Damn it, you're making me laugh, laugh."

The two of them hadn't even put away their things when they started fooling around, and after a while, they laughed until they were exhausted. They sat down, looking at each other, "heh heh", and then burst out laughing again.

"Hurry up and pack, otherwise there won't be any space to sleep tonight."

  Lucky said with a smile.

"Alright, let's get ready for bed! But it's a big deal."

"What's wrong with you? Every word that comes out of your mouth is twisted." Luckily, Minglang intentionally emphasized the two words "sleep" and made it a bit awkward.

"Look at you, your mind is dirty again, I'm just saying sleep, what are you thinking?"

He even turned over a new leaf. He was lucky, but he couldn't help it, the effort on his mouth corner, luck was never as good as his.
