Forgot to tell you I love you
Wang Zhiqiao walked nervously to her mother's side, looking at her with some tension.
"Let's go! Let's go back!" King Zhiqiao's mother didn't say anything else and turned around to leave.
It seems she didn't see it, Wang Zijiao couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. That was really close!
Back home, Wang Zijiao obediently returned to the bedroom. As soon as she walked into the bedroom, her phone received a text message, which was sent by Li Hui.
"Where are you now!"
Wang Zijiao immediately sent him a short message after mounting her horse. "I've already returned to my aunt's house."
"So soon. I just arrived at my uncle's house."
Wang Zijiao couldn't help but laugh. "Of course, I'm taking the bus, you're walking, and as soon as you left, my mom arrived."
"Oh, did your mom see me and you wanting to follow?"
Wang Zijiao thought for a moment, "She probably didn't see it, otherwise she would have asked me, but she didn't ask."
Wang Zhijiao finished texting and ran to get a glass of water. As he passed by his aunt's room, he heard voices inside, thinking it was probably his mom and aunt chatting. He continued walking forward nonchalantly, but suddenly heard them mention his name, so Wang Zhijiao perked up his ears to listen in on their conversation.
"When I went to pick her up today, I saw her standing with a boy." Her mother's voice came over, and Wang Zijiao's heart skipped a beat as it began to beat rapidly. She was still lucky enough to think that she hadn't, but it seemed that she wasn't so lucky after all. So she walked closer to listen to what they were saying next.
As I walked a little closer, I heard my aunt's voice coming over. "She can't be having an early romance, can she? No wonder she insisted on going out today."
Wang Zijiao's heart beat even more violently as she listened carefully to her mother's response. "It shouldn't be! She usually stays at home and doesn't go out, that boy must be her classmate, she doesn't have the guts for that. If she dares to fall in love early, I'll break her legs, at such a young age not studying well, now is the time for school, how can you waste your time on these useless things?"
"It's also true, Qiao seems like a well-behaved good kid, shouldn't be," Aunt said.
"Go get my bag." King Zhiqiao's mother's voice came over.
Upon hearing this, Wang Zhiqiao hastily quickened her pace towards the bedroom where she currently resided, managing to return and shut the door before her mother emerged.
Wang Zijiao's mother looked at the door that had just been closed, with a hint of a smile on her lips. It seemed that she had heard every word she said without missing a single one. As soon as she heard the sound of the door, she knew it was definitely her who came out, so she deliberately mentioned her. She is a clever child and should know what to do.
Wang Zijiao rushed out of the door and sent a text message to Li Miao: "My mom saw it, you're going to be the death of me."
After waiting for a while, Li Huan's text message still didn't arrive, and Wang Zijiao couldn't help but feel a little anxious. After another while, a text message finally came over, "I had something to do just now, did I scare you?"
Wang Zijiao rolled her eyes weakly and returned, "No, you're overthinking."
"It sounds so scary when you say it like that, I was thinking just that."
Wang Zijiao thought for a moment, was she really that terrifying? Before she could even react, another new message arrived.
"Take a good rest, tomorrow is the exam, I have something else to attend to."
After reading the message, Wang Zijiao felt a little down, feeling that she was not welcome anywhere, probably because she was tired of herself being annoying.
She sighed, put down her phone and started reading the book for tomorrow's exam. Halfway through, she suddenly felt unwell, rushed to the bathroom, and found out that her period had arrived. Wang Zijiao could only call her mom to ask her to buy sanitary napkins for her. Squatting on the toilet, Wang Zijiao thought gloomily, wondering if her melancholy mood was also related to this.
The next day, around 7 o'clock, Wang Zijiao was woken up, had some breakfast, took the admission ticket, neutral pen, ruler, pencil, eraser, and went to the toilet to change her sanitary napkin again.
"Have you got everything?" Wang Zijiao's mother asked her as soon as she came out of the toilet.
"Alright, I think we've got everything ready." Wang Zhihao thought back to the things he had just picked up.
"What's the big deal." Wang Zhiqiao's mother glared at her. "Where are your things, I'll check them for you again. What if we get there and find out you didn't bring something, then it will be too late."
Wang Zijiao looked at her mother helplessly, wondering why she seemed even more nervous than herself. She watched as her mother rushed into her bedroom, took out all her belongings and checked them one by one.
"Have you picked up your admission ticket?" Wang Zijiao's mother suddenly asked her.
Wang Zijiao looked at her with a smile, "That's right in front of you, and I'm the one taking the exam, not you. Why are you more nervous than me?"
Her mother didn't care what she said, anxiously looking at her, "I don't know what you need either, take a look yourself and see if there's anything else you haven't taken, we're leaving right away, why do you look so calm?"
Wang Zijiao felt that if she didn't carefully re-examine her things again, her mother would definitely be worried.
After she had packed up her things, she was immediately sent to the exam by her father. When they arrived at the examination site, Wang Zijiao looked at the crowded entrance of so many examinees and began to feel nervous. She started taking deep breaths to calm herself down and not be too tense.
"Don't be nervous, do your best on the exam. I'll be here waiting for you when you come out." Her dad said this to calm her down as he was about to send her off at the entrance.
"I'm going in, be careful on your way. Pay attention to safety." Wang Zhiqiao reminded her father to pay attention to safety despite being a bit nervous.
"Hurry up and go in! Take your exam carefully."
"Then go back!"
"I'll wait for you to go in and then leave." Wang Zijiao's dad looked at her with concern. Wang Zijiao quickly went into the examination room, and as she entered, she didn't forget to wave goodbye to her dad. Her dad signaled her to hurry up and enter the classroom, don't worry about him.
Wang Zijiao started walking towards the classroom, and when she arrived at the entrance of her own exam room, she found that many people were standing outside the classroom. It turned out that it was not yet time to open the classroom. Wang Zijiao looked at the crowded crowd and felt even more uncomfortable, so she leaned against the railing and looked down at the crowd below.
Looking at the people coming and going below, Wang Zijiao's thoughts began to flutter. Thinking of many things before, the more she was in a strange environment, the lonelier her heart became. Feeling that everyone was a whole, only herself was isolated, so helpless.
Suddenly a pair of hands covered her eyes. Who was it? Wang Zijiao's body began to stiffen, and she reached up with both hands to try to pull away the person's hands.
"Guess who I am?" A strange voice came from beside her ear. Wang Zhiqiao couldn't help but curve the corners of his mouth, it was him!
"Li Hui, stop it." Wang Zhiqiao laughed and pushed his hand away. Even though they were already quite familiar with each other, she still felt a bit uncomfortable with his touch.
"How did you find me?" Wang Zijiao asked curiously. There are so many people here, and several floors, how did he find himself.
"With a spiritual connection, I found it through intuition." Li Hui joked.
Wang Zijiao was amused by him, he really is talking nonsense, what kind of crap about having a spiritual connection with someone, he's just trying to fool people.
"Can't you be a bit more decent?" Wang Zijiao couldn't help but say to him.
"Can." Li Huan replied succinctly. She really wasn't suitable for joking around. Not a hint of humor.
"How did you find me?" Wang Zhiqiao was still very curious.
"Guess." Li Huan sold a pass.
"You guess I don't guess." Wang Zhiqiao responded smoothly.
"Hmm, I guess you guessed." Li Hui was stunned for a moment before continuing with another sentence.
"Is it fun?" Wang Zhiqiao laughed and said. It's really boring enough.
Li Hui smiled mischievously. "Actually, I saw your exam venue when I was picking up the admission ticket that day."
"Ah! So you specially ran over to find me." Wang Zhiqiao was somewhat moved.
"It's hard to say." Li Hui scratched his own head, unsure whether or not he should accept Wang Zhiqiao's emotional response towards him.
"What did you say?" Wang Zhiqiao asked in doubt.
"My exam venue is actually not far from you." Li Huan said awkwardly.
"Where is it?" Wang Zijiao suddenly remembered that he hadn't asked Li Huan which exam venue he was in, and he really felt ashamed.
"Hmm." Li Huan coughed slightly, clearing his throat, and looked at Wang Zhiqiao's concerned gaze, feeling even more embarrassed. "I'm just next door to you."
"Ah! So close." Wang Zijiao didn't expect it either.
"This counts as fate, doesn't it?" Li Huan smiled and raised an eyebrow.
Wang Zhiqiao was speechless towards him. Yu Guang happened to see a teacher coming over to open the door and said to him, "There's a teacher coming to open the door, you should also hurry to your exam venue! Good luck on your test! Add oil!"
"Good for you, and you too." Li Huan said as he went off to his own examination room.
Wang Zijiao accepted the teacher's inspection and sat in his own seat. He found that he was not nervous at all because of Li Huan's disturbance. Thinking that he was just in another classroom not far away made him feel more at ease. He was not alone in fighting a lone battle.
The first subject is Chinese. For Wang Zijiao, Chinese was the least worrisome subject. After quickly browsing through the entire volume, she began to answer questions quickly.
When Wang Zijiao finished all of them, there were still 20 minutes left before the end of the exam, so she reviewed them again to avoid mistakes and correct them in time.
Suddenly, Wang Zijiao felt a bit uncomfortable in his lower body. He thought to himself that something was wrong and wondered if he had leaked onto his pants. The more Wang Zijiao thought about it, the more anxious he became. The sound of the bell rang out, signaling the end of the exam, and some classmates who had already finished began to leave. Wang Zijiao glanced out the window and saw Li Miao leaning against the windowsill, smiling at him. Wang Zijiao felt a pang of guilt. He smiled back at Li Miao, then looked down, thinking to himself that he should leave quickly, or else he would be embarrassed soon.
Until Wang Zhiqiao's test paper was taken away, Li Hui stood there waiting for Wang Zhiqiao. Wang Zhiqiao felt that there was no way out and had to force herself to go up. She couldn't stay outside forever. She thought of a solution, which was to put the plastic bag containing the examination items behind her back, trying to cover it up so as not to be seen.
