  Some things happen suddenly and unexpectedly, and the outcome is also unexpected.

  On the third night after losing her computer, at around 9 o'clock, a boy named Chen Bin called Gu Xue Lin and asked to meet her on the playground of the west campus of their school. He also handed her a heavy bag.

  When Gu Xue Lin took over the bag, the boy said a sentence: Sorry, I reinstalled the system and all the data inside is gone.

  Gu Xue Lin was stunned when the boy ran away.

  Under the night sky, Gu Xue Lin couldn't see clearly the appearance of that boy, only remembered he had a flat head, long face, wore black-framed glasses, white long-sleeved T-shirt and blue jeans.

  Then, Gu Xue Lin took the computer back and returned it to Xiao Na.

  Xiao Na checked it out and found that except for the production date and anti-counterfeit label being torn off, everything else was fine.

  When Gu Xue Lin told me all this, I said that at least you should call the person who returned the computer and say thank you.

  Gu Xue Lin shook her head. I dialed the number that boy had called, and on the other end of the line was a public phone in a store located in the city center.

  "Su Mu Xian——" Ouyang Xiao Xiao shouted.

  She wore a rose-red top and a sky-blue denim jeans with a small white bag slung over her shoulder.

  "Okay, Xiao Xiao." I smiled and greeted her.

  "How did you end up here?" asked Ouyang Xiaoxiao.

  "Oh, Linlin didn't bring her English textbook, I just sent it over to her. How about you? Are you going to class?"

  "No, I just finished class. We only had two classes this afternoon and they're both done now, so nothing's going on. What have you been up to lately? Haven't heard from you in a while."

  "I just eat, sleep, go online and play games every day, that's all. How about you?"

  "I've been busy taking a certification exam for the past two weeks, and I just finished it this Tuesday. Linlin and I were talking about it in our text messages last week, saying that after I finish my exam, we'll go to your place to play."

  "She didn't even tell me about this, I haven't heard from you for more than two weeks, I thought you had forgotten about me."

  "I think you've forgotten about me, you don't even contact me. You don't call or send texts."

  "Oh, the other day, Linlin lost someone's computer in the dormitory. We all thought it was gone for good and we'd have to compensate the owner, so everyone was feeling really down. But then, that guy returned the computer. Now everything is fine, and everyone is happy." I said with a smile.

  "What laptop was lost? Oh, now that you mention it, I remember seeing a lost and found notice at the cafeteria entrance. It said someone lost a pink Apple laptop, model T252. Is that the one?"

  "Uh-huh," I nodded.

  "No wonder, I thought the contact number on that lost and found notice looked familiar, it's actually Gu Xue Lin's phone number."

  "At first we all thought it was gone for good, I even told a few friends that my computer was lost and I might have to borrow some money from them to buy a new one, but unexpectedly, it turned up again."

  "That means you're a good person, good people get good rewards, the things you lost will be returned to you." Ouyang Xiao said with a smile.

  "I was about to lose all hope for this society, but now I suddenly have a lot of confidence again."
