Chapter Thirty-Eight: Seal of Death

  Gu Muren pressed one hand on the painful spot and opened the car window with the other, silently watching the rapidly passing scenery outside, a bitter feeling in his heart.

  Why did Xiao Xiao ask Shen Rui such a question? Shen Rui had never liked her, let alone having any lingering feelings. They were never meant to be together anyway.
