Si Jing, female, from Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province, director of Fuyuan Psychological Counseling Center, and family coach at Beijing SJS (Si Jing Academy). Born with polio 9 months after birth, paralyzed all over her body except for her left hand, underwent more than 70 surgeries, relying on 3 steel rods and 5 steel wires to support her body. In her childhood, she was sent to a backward rural area, where she suffered from discrimination, bullying, and torture.
For decades, Si Jing has dedicated herself to serving others and society at the cost of experiencing various hardships. She has been engaged in voluntary psychological counseling for 20 years, traveling across more than 30 cities nationwide with a disabled body, giving over 400 lectures, helping countless people who were lost and confused to find themselves, regain their spirit, and strengthen their faith.
At 17, Si Jing learned her first character from old newspapers stuck on the wall and could read novels in just two months. She was self-taught and received diplomas from two universities. She wrote tirelessly throughout her life and was hired as a columnist for several publications. She gave lectures at Peking University three times, with her speeches being evaluated by teachers and students of Peking University as "the most shocking speech at Peking University".
Si Jing suffered greatly but had a profound understanding of the world, helping countless people. She was hailed as "Spiritual Giant", "Angel of Soul" and "Embodiment of Truth, Goodness and Beauty". She was also named one of the top 10 women of Heilongjiang Province, one of the top 10 outstanding young people, and a national advanced individual in spiritual civilization construction.
