Chapter 26: The Sluggish Water God

  The kitten was taken in by Su Qi's dormitory, but Su Qi didn't have time to take care of it. She spent most of her time studying, so the kitten was taken care of by the sisters in the dormitory on a rotational basis. However, the kitten still stuck to Su Qi very much. As soon as Su Qi returned to the dormitory, the kitten would immediately pounce on her no matter where it was, even if someone was holding it in their arms. If Su Qi didn't hold it, it would grab onto her pant legs and hang from her leg; if Su Qi was reading a book, it would lie softly on her shoulder like an ornament; if Su Qi was sleeping, it would squeeze into her bed through the gap between the sheets.

  "You're not afraid I'll squish you while sleeping, okay, go under the bed." Su Qi picked up the little cat that was snuggled in her blanket and put it under the bed. Under the bed was a washbasin filled with some cat litter, turned into a little home for the kitten.

  Su Qi Ruo and the kitten stared at each other for a few seconds, she really couldn't bear the kitten's pitiful and innocent eyes, so she helplessly said to it, "Come over and lie down beside my pillow."

  "Meow!" The little cat jumped onto Su Qi's bed in an instant, snuggled up beside Su Qi's pillow, and closed its eyes contentedly, drifting off to sleep.

  "You're Mao Tuan!" Su Qi cried out in surprise, pointing at the young man.

  "Meow meow." The young man called out twice to Su Qi, his voice identical to that of a small cat.

  "Idiot!" Lu Ke said helplessly to Su Qi who was slow to react.

  Shi Ruwen saw the little cat reveal its true form, and with Su Qi's personality, it was impossible for her to keep the little cat by her side any longer. This way, there would be no one left to monitor Su Qi. Unfortunately, how did Su Qi discover this so late?
