Chapter 32: Tracking the Blind Date (Part 1)

  Lu Haochen shifted his gaze to Yan Feng and saw the small, exquisite gift bag in his hand, smiling: "Looks good, what is it?"

  "It's a wristwatch." Yan Feng smiled slightly, looked down at the watch on his wrist, and suppressed his smile. "It's getting late, I should go."

  "Good luck!" Lu Haochen patted his shoulder in a friendly manner.

  Jin Yan smiled and waved goodbye to Yan Feng's departing back, "Don't hurt the girl's heart! Remember to cherish her!"

  There was no turning back; in the blink of an eye, Yan Feng's figure had vanished into the distance at the end of the street.

  As a thoroughly neglected character, Bai Xiaoyan looked at the few people who were speaking in unison with a bewildered expression, but her heart was filled with a huge question mark.

  Girl?

  Yan Feng went to see a girl? And even brought gifts?!

  What's going on?!

  Yan Feng has already walked far away, Jin Zaiyan patted Lu Haocen's shoulder and urged: "Hey, Old Lu, let's not stand here like fools. Go to the clothing store and take a look around, I heard that they have recently added new styles of clothes."

  Lu Haochen nodded and took a step forward, but suddenly remembered that Bai Xueya was still there, so he stopped abruptly and turned his head back.

  Bai Xiaoyan glared at him with anger in her eyes and gritted her teeth: "You big idiot! What do you want to do?!"

  "I didn't think of doing anything..." Lu Haochen curved his lips, revealing a signature sly smile.

  Bai Xueya knew that every time Lu Haocen smiled like this, he must have had some bad ideas in his mind... She had to be careful...

  Taking two steps forward, Lu Haocen suddenly lowered his head and leaned in close to Bai Xiaya's ear.

  Bai Xueya was startled and subconsciously wanted to retreat, but Lu Haochen had already grabbed her wrist, holding her tightly in his grasp.

  "Want to know what Yan Feng is up to?" He whispered in her ear, his breath as gentle as orchids, his tone soft and mysterious, hiding a sly smile.

  The warm breath on Bai Xueya's ear made her shiver involuntarily.

  "Rose Coffee Shop, blind date."

  After finishing speaking, Lu Haocen stood up straight, and under her astonished gaze, he lightly curved his lips into a smile, turned around, and left the gift shop with Jin Zaiyan.

  "Hey, what did you just say to that girl?"

  Just as they walked out of the gift shop, Jin Yan couldn't help but ask cautiously.

  Lu Haochen didn't answer, he just smiled faintly.

  At this sight, Jin's serious expression suddenly cracked, and he exclaimed excitedly, "I say, Old Lu! You didn't tell her about our secret plan, did you?!"

  "No way." Lu Haocen frowned impatiently, turning his head to look at him, "I haven't even discussed moving out with your mom yet, how could I possibly let you move in first?!"

  "You still have some conscience..." Kim Jae-yeon let out a sigh and muttered quietly.

  "But if I can really persuade your mom to agree with you moving out and living alone, you must promise me one thing: you cannot go back on your word!"

  Jin glared at him with a slanted gaze, seemingly very indignant in his heart, and lazily responded: "Alright, alright, I know... How annoying..."

  In the gift shop, Bai Xueya still stood foolishly in place, holding a big bag of snacks, her mind a jumbled mess.

  Blind date?

  Would such a cliché happen to the extraordinary Yan Feng? Impossible!

  But... that gift, that girl...

  Maybe blind dates really work!
