Chapter 8: All Because of Man Tuo Hua's Mischief (2)
I stretched out my hand, and really touched the petals! Just as I touched it, a coolness and comfort passed through my palm, an indescribable sweet fragrance floated into my nostrils, the flower fell off with a rustle, dropping into my palm.
I carefully held it and walked back to Da P's side, Da P said enviously: "Ding Wei you're so cool, let me take a look too!"
I handed the flower to him, and he took it with great joy. However, as soon as his hand touched the mandrake, the flower suddenly transformed into a thick, sharp thorn that pierced deeply into his palm!
"My goodness, it's killing me!" Big P let out a terrifying shriek and rolled around on the ground in agony.
"What to do? What to do?" Looking at the big P rolling all over the ground, I was so scared that I didn't know what to do.
"Hurry...hurry up and use magic to save me." After rolling around for a while, Da P stopped rolling and lay on the ground with a pale face, his breathing extremely weak.
In the midst of crisis, as if it was a hint, I squatted down and turned Da P's palm over to face mine, muttering to myself. A huge force, unknown from where it came, suddenly pulled out the thorn from his hand, and the wound miraculously healed in an instant. Da P took a deep breath, jumped up from the ground, and we stared at my hand in unison, our eyes wide with wonder. The sharp thorn that had almost taken his life was gone, and what remained in my hand was still a breathtakingly beautiful mandrake flower.
"It's too scary," said Da P, "The attack power of this flower is unimaginable. But for those who can subdue it, it may have an unexpected effect. I think the library should have detailed information about it."
"What's the delay? Let's hurry into the library."
Big P shook his head and said: "With this flower watching here, I'm afraid I won't be able to get in."
"No problem." I grabbed his hand and said: "Come on, try your teleportation array."
He tried, but we don't know where he flew off to.
"It's been moved." Da P said with a sweat-drenched face, "Try again."
Trying again won't get me into the library either.
This time we entered an inn. The color of the inn was very simple, and on the beautiful fabric sofa in the hall, there were peonies blooming everywhere. Once bitten by a snake for thousands of years, afraid of being tied up, although I knew it was a fake flower, Big P still didn't dare to sit down, staring at the sofa.
I sat down with a flourish and looked around.
"Five-star ah." Da P smacked his lips and said, "Actually no one."
"Will there be many people coming after the game is open?" I asked Da P.
"It's possible," said Da P. "But to cultivate up to level 50 or higher, I'm afraid it will take a lot of effort. It's like we're sneaking across the river, you understand?"
"What level do you think I am?" I asked him.
"Ninety-nine levels." Da P said, "This doesn't need to be asked."
Just then, our eyes all stopped on an oil painting in the hall, which was a composite photo of two people, one was me and the other was Yue Qianfeng. We were standing on a high mountain peak, with a pair of golden wings behind my back, and Yue Qianfeng stood behind me, smiling at me.
"Our photo together?" Big P leaned in and said, "Your little aunt has a rich imagination."
"Not you and me." I struck him saying, "It's me and Yue Qianfeng."
"Does it make a difference?" said Da P, "Yue Qingfeng was created by your aunt in my image!"
"No, he is real. He is him, you are you."
Da P's mouth corners rose with a sly smile: "You wouldn't have fallen in love with him, would you? Heh heh."
"It's none of your business whether it is or isn't."
"The legend of the sanctuary..." Da P read out loud the line of words at the bottom of the photo, and said to me: "I guess your little aunt gave us both the most powerful wizard role. If I log in with my ID now, I should have the same magic as you."
"Finished speaking, he stamped his feet and clapped his chest: "How did you get all the good luck, 555555.""
"Alright," I said, "If I still can't use it, then it's all just empty talk."
"So, we still have to think of a way to get into the library!" said Big P.
We left the hotel and came back to the entrance of the library again.
"You lead me in with your gentle shoelaces, may your magic cover me." Big P encouraged me: "Use your thoughts, tread on flowers and pass. Ding Wei, you can do it!"
I followed his words and opened my sneakers. With a thought, Da P's body and I suddenly became very light, we floated up into the air, stepped on the petals, and easily passed through the flower cluster to reach inside the library.
"Geez!" Da P said with envy, "Your aunt is being a bit too biased."
"How come you're not convinced?" I asked him.
