Chapter 5: Finally Did Something "Thief-like" (4)

Chapter 5 Finally Still Did Something "Sneaky" (4)

Just then, "Bae Yong-joon" arrived again. He walked hastily and quickly, and as soon as he came, he asked me: "How are you? Is your illness better?"

"I'll take her home right away," Mom said anxiously. "I'll make sure she writes a good self-criticism."

"Never mind!" said Bae Yong-joon, waving his hand. "We've all figured it out. The thieves were two security guards from our school. The police have already gone to arrest them, thanks to Yeh Da-ping and Ding Wei discovering the clue!"

After finishing speaking, he blamed me and said: "You're also like that, knowing but never saying anything?"

  Huh?

"Hurry up and go to class!" He patted my shoulder and said, "But even if it's just to catch a thief. In the future, don't run around so late, girls have weak bodies and can't take it. I've already severely criticized Ye Daping, but to make amends, I won't pursue his responsibility anymore!"

Looking at "Bae Yong-joon", he seems quite happy.

  Mom is also very happy.

I'm not happy, I just have more and more puzzles in my heart.

I entered the classroom and found Big P already seated. As soon as I walked in, all my classmates applauded, and I sat down bewildered. Big P whispered to me, "Everyone is showing respect for your glorious act of bravely catching a thief and unfortunately getting sick, hehehe."

"What's going on?" I asked him.

"Your intuition was absolutely right, the police found all those things at 128 Daobei Street, I just added a bit of color and made up a story, and you became a hero."

I'm not interested in Big P's story, what I'm interested in is last night's dream.

  Was last night's dream real?

I asked for leave on the grounds of illness and went home, "Bae Yong-joon" readily agreed and even instructed me to rest well. But in fact, I didn't go home, I went straight to my aunt's place, I had a lot of questions to ask her.

After I rang the doorbell, the door opened automatically. My aunt was sitting in front of the computer, staring blankly. When she saw me, she said: "Find something to eat and drink by yourself, I'm busy with things."

"Don't be in a hurry." I held her hand and said, "You first tell me what's going on?"

  "What's wrong?" She looked dazed.

"How did that little wizard run out of the game?"

"Xiao Wei!" Auntie said, touching my forehead, "Your mom said you have a high fever. Looks like the fever has gotten to your head! What nonsense are you talking about?"

"You send me back into the game again." I said.

"No way!" said Little Aunt firmly. "Recently, the game hasn't been open, something has happened and needs to be adjusted, have you forgotten what happened to Big P last time?"

"I must go!" I begged her, "Just let me in for a little while?"

"Good Xiaowei!" My aunt didn't fall for it, instead saying: "Listen to me, in a few more days I'll take you in to play, but not now, the game still has problems. Considering I haven't slept for three days and three nights, can you stop bothering me?"

My aunt looked really exhausted, with bloodshot eyes all over. She stood up and said to me: "I'm going to take a bath, refresh myself and continue later, you take care of yourself."

My aunt went to the bathroom, I sat in front of her computer for two minutes and then dialed Big P's phone number. Lowering my voice, I said to him: "I'm at my aunt's house now, she won't take me to the game, what should I do?"

"Find me?" Da P immediately floated up.

  "Speak your mind!"

"Alright!" he said, "Are you in front of the computer?"

  "Alright."

"Just follow the procedure I said and note down the final IP address."

I've always been a computer idiot, but Da P's instructions weren't too difficult, and I managed to do it step by step. In the end, the computer displayed a line of what looked like very complex numbers and symbols.

"Copy it down!" said Big P.

I frantically searched for a floppy disk, but there wasn't a single one at my aunt's house. The sound of water in the bathroom had stopped, and I was so tense that I could hardly breathe.

"Then copy it and send it to your mailbox." Still Da P's clever idea, one after another.

  "What's next?" I asked.

"Try to get another pair of smart glasses, I have one here, it's my dad's. Then come to my house and find me." Da P told me the address and said: "I'm hanging up, I'll go home now and wait for you to come, turn off your computer and restart it so that your little aunt won't notice."

When I finished everything, my aunt came out of the bathroom. Fortunately, she didn't suspect anything and was wiping her hair with a large towel in a thoughtful manner. Halfway through, she suddenly exclaimed: "Ah ah, look at me! I forgot to rinse off all the soap bubbles on my body!" After that, she hastily turned back into the bathroom.

It seems she is really worried about something.

But I couldn't care for her anymore, I found the sensor glasses on her desk and put them in my backpack. I slipped out of her house quietly and hailed a taxi to hurry to Da P's place.
